Basically this is similar in scale and scope to the euro maiden protests (in size). But think of it as a bottom up color revolution formed from the more based fringes of the elites.
While the current global homo is trying to downplay the good sides and up play the bad sides the reverse of the George Floyd protests one of a few things will occur. I for one see perhaps some sort of legit false flag, glowie, or just insane person snap out and target protests. This will then be used as a crackdown. However being that the protests are much larger and in multiple cities Canada really risks that chance going from highly unlikely to very likely.

The least painful way the Canadian government could have backed down was let's say willing to end the entire COVID thing by the weekend. Sure it would suck and you can maintain a culture of it. But hey no one requires you to wear a mask. However the Canadian government backfired and by trying to enforce vaccine mandates they showed their hand way too quickly. Truckers who are prepared to a degree learned from the failures of January 6th. Numbers matters but so does long term planning.

But the far left is used to doubling down redditors never learned from their temper tantrums.

Yes, its directly related to Quebec Nationalism. His party is the new Bloc-Quebecois, but instead of separatism its instead "Nation within a Nation" and autonomy for French People.

French Nationalism was in a sorry state after the 2011 election, with the bloc quebecois slowly coming forward in the federal parliament but not doing well in the provincial one. That is until CAQ (Coalition for Quebec's Future) won a landslide supermajority in the election (it was also a new party, the 2018 election was its third election). All of Quebec, outside of few cities and the literal island of Montreal is hardcore rightist, pro-French, pro-Quebec nationalism. It's also the one party that doesn't mind being racist to immigrants assuming they don't speak French. But for perspective, the entire province loves being pro-itself and has yearly events that are extremely nationalist, putting some European countries to shame and definitely outperforming the rest of North America.

To be fair it's more of a snobby East Coast boarding school old money we want to be like the British thing, but it's been an English grammatical standard for a few centuries. You know, after those annoying Normans decided to take over England. From Normandy. Which is in France.

If these fuckers want to gain ground, they need to unify Quebec. They need to start a program that will subsidize rural Quebecers to move to those leftist areas and allow them to live there property-tax free for five years while taxing the shit out of anyone not from Quebec to keep them out. Every time I'm reminded of how reality is in Quebec outside of the cities I could almost bring myself to go there were I not a native-born Albertan.

It's basically impossible with Montreal becoming an English city. I was passing through there a few months ago and when I walked through the mall it was majority English speaking (around 60-75%). Not to mention I know immigrants that can barely speak English and don't even know bonjour that move to Montreal for work (Engineering). Montreal should just be annexed out of Canada, just like Toronto. The only issue with doing this will be the loss of historical lands to our country, but they can serve as a warning to the rest of our prosperous land.
