during the primary, there were articles about exactly this, Kamala was like BigHead from Silicon Valley; She mainly got ahead by sheer luck and her minority status, she isn't exactly competent, even by the dems' lax standards. Shes Hilary without the competency we all get from a hard working white woman. Hilary is the Tracy Flick-esque nerd with a thirst for power. Kamala was the token black one of the bouncy cheerleader sluts who just fucked their way through high school. The only thing she's good at is prosecuting, she would have been an amazing Attorney General, for a conservative administration. Her entire skill set is all but useless in the CRT law field.

Its almost like a cruel joke, her and joe are both blue dogs, but have been forced to be progressive by the powers that be, no wonder Manchin is giving them the finger, he's clearly seen what happens if you let them take an inch. if Manchin cucks he'll be forced into drag the rest of his life. Honestly I bet the blue dogs of the party are pulling their hair out. its the 70s/80s all over again, the socialists are dragging the entire party down, if it weren't for the corruption Trump could probably have ushered in another era of republican presidents.

Its even worse now, by forcing the win for Joe they allowed people to see how the tricks were done, Joe's win basically is the run gotten from the bunt sacrifice of Virginia and almost New Jersey becoming red states, and the way shits looking it'll be the first of many sacrifices.
That my friend is why I laugh. When people say Kamala is a role model for girls. Because she isn't. She fucked her why up to power. She's not a role model at all.

This "Russia is totally going to do a false flag guys!" thing has been one of the phoniest bits of Agit-Prop media campaign since the Steele's "Pee Tape" dossier.

It is flagrantly false. Anybody who has any sense in their head and actually looks to see if there is literally a single scrap of evidence in support recognizes that.

This was true over two weeks ago when the narrative got pushed in the media for the first time, and it is still true now.
What is even more amusing is that in all actuality any false flag would in fact be carried out by the US. The detail they used to describe this supposd Russian act is like whenever they catch a murder because they hypothetically describe the details of a murder so clearly that they only way they could have known was to actually have done it themselves.

This is just as if not even more pointless than the Arizona DNC censuring Sinema but I wonder why Cheney acts the way she does. She realizes the Democrats will never reward her with anything for being a spineless cuckold right?

Since she is clearly going to lose her sit. Maybe she plans on taking a spot on the View

It really does feel like how life was always portrayed as being in the Soviet Union. The government just completely making shit up and the mainstream media reporting the made up shit as if it is all true.
I mean it actually was like that. the only difference is that there's no government political officer coming to your workplace every week to proclaim the updates to political news/ideology

A collection of stories from today:

Biden is making a big deal about the January job report, Biden and Elon Musk don't like each other apparently, Russia is teaming up more with China to challenge the American world order, Biden extends Trump-era tariffs on solar energy equipment and the Federal Reserve will either potentially stop rising inflation or send the USA into a recession (possibly both).

it fuckin' kills me, man. All through HS and college all I heard was "Maaan Reagan's gonna get us into a war with the Soviets! Any day now he'll fuck up and think it's a movie or some shit and bam, missiles over the north pole!" from lefty/dem friends.

Now we've got a hard L lefty administration holding their playing card hand face out and they've got a Casus Belli Flush, and they're telling us "oh no this is totes legit guys"

That's actually one of the big reasons the Biden administration is so hostile to Russia right now. Russia along with China, North Korea, Iran, and Eastern Europe is trying to create a parallel banking/payment processor system That's independent of the U.S dollar which is already very fragile.
Reminds me of when Saddam Husein tried to go independent of the dollar and look at what happened to him. Hopefully this anti-dollar coalition stands their ground united.

it's not even remotely true that Harris is incompetent. she was too arrogant to refuse the offer of the vice presidency but considering that Willie Brown publically told her not to, that's not a surprising level of "fuck you I don't need you anymore." Someone should make a Willie Brown-Kamala Harris version of that Human League song.

it would take a strategic genius to maneuver well in the situation she got herself into. not being a politcal genius doesn't make her incompetent. if she'd taken Brown's advice and accepted the AG position instead she'd be creating the conditions for a Harris presidency down the road.

The White House is unsuccessfully trying to fudge the numbers so Bidor doesn't hi the fabled 20% approval rating.

A lot of posters here think Biden can't drop below 35% but I disagree. Even lefty types start getting ornery when they get evicted and gas is four dollars a gallon.

Is the West Wing even worth watching? It's been recommended to me by a friend but I'm afraid after I watch it I will understand them more and like them less and that was before reading this thread.

I'd give the first two seasons a try at the very least; just know it's a weird hybrid of old school episodic TV with subplots running under the surface style prime time soap opera.

The season two finale "Two Cathedrals" is a decent jumping off point if you just want to dabble, as the episode serves as a quasi finale for the first "act" of the show (leaving it ambiguous whether or not Bartlett's going to run for reelection after being diagnosed with MS).

Sorkin was fired from the show at the end of season four, which ends on a huge cliffhanger that replacement showrunner John Wells resolves the following season. Some Sorkin purists will argue that you should stick through the end of season four and maybe the first couple of episodes of S5, as far as being the end of "act two" of the series.

I wouldn't watch past the first couple of episodes of S5 unless you are masochistic or somehow find yourself liking the characters along the way.
