What is the reason that squares with this 'only suicidal due to transphobia!!' thing/party line?

The official narrative is now that HRT + SRS cured Jaron's depression. It does not explain why he was first diagnosed with depression after starting HRT, the medication regimen, or the failed first semester at university but TLC + Jeannette have not even attempted to explain it.

If somebody asked about this in a way that could not be ignored I suspect s/he would get some variant of "his family supports and affirms him but the rest of society is evil and transphobic and it just became too much, the audience just didn't see it because we only see the happy moments on the show". It's probably false but almost impossible to scrutinize or disprove and it's not like TRAs care about the facts - most of the deaths on Trans Day of Remembrance were domestic-violence or drug-related deaths but the message that gets pushed is still "there is a genocide against trans people, here's the proof, anybody who questions it is a transphobe".

Yes. Adults can qualify for case management services if they have intellectual disabilities, autism, substance use problems, or severe mental health problems. Each state has different laws and agencies that handle that.
Jazz probably could use all the help he can get.

So, we have confirmation that Jazz already tried Harvard and something happened that he had to leave and take time out. We still don't know the reason for it.

I know the family is shitty, but the harshness he's been receiving from them doesn't correspond with someone who tried to kill himself. Unless, of course, they're all projecting their feelings of guilt with him.

Now, for a moment, let's say that he indeed tried to kill himself. I know he has right to privacy, but remember they're public figures pushing and doing activism for a very specific cause and Jazz is the result of that cause. He's also the poster boy for trans youth. If he tried to 41%, then the public has all the right to know, even if they won't ever admit that making him trans was what made him do so.

If you ask me what do I think, I'd say that I'm 50/50 on it. He has all motivation for doing so, mainly, knowing the surgery didn't go as planned and he's now trapped in a deformed body. That could be the reason why they're been pushing for him to lose weight: they think that, by losing weight, his problems will be gone.

Dr. Bowers' interview could be, imo, another hint that Jazz indeed tried to 41%. He's already trying to wash his hands out of it: "aaaacshually... this isn't my fault, we all knew it was an experimental surgery and it didn't work..." We don't have a timeline to know whether this interview happened before or after Jazz's tried to kill himself, if he did it. But I do think that finding out that you were nothing but an failed experiment is enough to make anyone crack. If Jazz didn't try to 41%, he could have had a meltdown.

Cool, must be fun to threaten suicide whenever someone disagrees with you or you suspect they might be thinking a mean thought. Grow up, yeesh. People say mad shit about women 24/7 that's hateful but there's not suicide baiting nonstop by women. Women are harassed in the street by idiots and there are femicides that aren't just down to high risk lifestyles. Hell, trans people and trans 'women' get hate crime protection but not.. actual women.

Is the trans murder rate actually disproportionately higher than women or average? There was an ep of a podcast I usually love but it was 'the epidemic of transgender women murders in the US'. How many? 24. And mostly sex workers. Female sex workers face insane violence, but somehow that's not considered a factor here.

Any stats on whether the epidemic of trans homicides is disproportionately high? It's regularly described as a 'genocide'. Is that true or bullshit?? I just don't believe it's not mostly to do with engaging in risky behaviours notorious for increasing your chances of being hurt.
