I find it pretty exceptional that Joe and Co. think they're going to win the hearts and minds of legions of Eastern Ukrainian Russians who want to be Russians. These are not timid Germans from Alsace my dudes, that pre-WWI Balkan powder keg turned into a hugeass powder magazine. If the ball gets rolling, letting Ukrainian nationalists commit a genocide will look pretty bad on the resume. it will become Afghanistan all over again, but this time in Soviet apartment blocks instead of mountains.
Seems they are already started training Soviet apartment block warfare.

Bloomberg couldn't wait and blew its load, then issued a retraction. How do I jurnalizm, guise?

Bloomberg accidentally reports that Russia invaded Ukraine
By holy fuck, if Putin does decide to go into Ukraine, you bet your ass he’s going to stuff like this and the recent incident with Ned price as a means of attacking NATO (or more specifically, the US) as warmongers. He’s going practically force nato not to do anything, because if they do, then it looks bad on us, especially in the eyes of China. (which will hurt diplomacy.)
I still disagree with @дядя Боря, and do think Russia will win in regards to destabilizing nato(their real goal in all this.) no matter what they ultimately decide to do. (Unless we go in there and end up with another Cold War, witch will make the Biden admin look really good in the eyes of people when it’s time for midterms…sarcasm.)
Show me proof otherwise, then.

I'm going to be honest and say I'm taking this with a grain of salt ("US could just be warmongering" etc.), but it still seems somewhat worrying:

EDIT: Pulled this from an AP new article about how Russia is totally going to have all of its army together and invade by mid-Feburary. Let me guess, they totally have WMDs in Iraq according to "trusted officials", right?

when you are asking NATO to move far away from Russian borders

My son is currently serving in SpetsNaz, in Crimea, right on Ukrainian border.
They live in a middle of a field. No tents. Field kitchen is once a day plus dry rations which you can't warm up or eat.
Cold as balls. No one is in the mood to fight. Before the "trip" there were mass layoffs of contract servicemen.

The comment about "mass layoffs" seems to be really interesting. Is there anymore details about it anywhere?

Lol yeah that's totally not sloppy propaganda. I bet if you search for the text of that post you'll find hundreds of identical ones.

Edit: Here we go. Fake and gay. Seems to be generated by a script with minor variations. Ukrainian propagandists not sending their best...

Edit 2: Lol, here are people making fun of that tired propaganda post.

Except it's a Russian playbook to jam Twitter with random Twitter accounts generating nonsense whenever HAPPENINGS starts. You keep on defending Russia's honour though.

Possible but doubtful. Most accounts posting it now are either bots or people making fun of them and few are anti-Russian opposition clowns like this one: https://twitter.com/F9RDegacoItONHY/status/1236431379916865537

If it is indeed Russian propaganda, then I must question the intelligence of the opposition that keeps falling for it.

Psychological warfare operators aren't required to praise the regime whenever they work, it's a stupid shibboleth.

I don't know for certain, but I would imagine that you can program a bot to say that Pynia suck cocks to drown out whatever hashtag or keyword is going live at the moment. It's not like you'll be getting a champagne bottle in your rectum for badmouthing Putin, as required by the service of the state. :D

What's the profit for Russia from these posts, though? Propaganda is supposed to demoralize the enemy and raise spirits of the allies. This accomplishes nothing but giving opposition clowns something to chuckle about on Twitter.

1. Drown out useful information
2. Make opposition look stupid

Pretty sure 2 works to demoralize the enemy and raise the spirits of the allies. Some people would inevitably believe it. Imagine being allies with someone this stupid.
1. There is no useful information on Twitter
2. Opposition does not need extra help to look stupid, they're perfectly capable of it themselves

Do you genuinely believe that the easiest explanation here is that Russians are playing insane reverse-psychology psyops with their bots and not just that there are different groups of people who have access to bot farms? This is literal delusion. Putin isn't the only person in the world to use bot accounts.
Also I very much doubt there is a need to make Russian opposition look stupider since it's all curated by federal agents anyway.
