God, it was just sad. Ok, here some deepest lore drop - Ralph said it would take a most brutal beating of him to hate on Gym, lo and behold, prophecy became true. He got beaten up. Severely. Now he hates Metokur. I feel almost sad for the Ralph to see him crash and burn in such fashion

It was sad, on a certain level. Ralph was choking back the tears of a man desperate for a father figure in his life, yet too insecure to accept the criticism or correction that would come from such a figure.

I don't think Jim actually has a seething hatred for Ethan strong enough to be a full-time aylahg. He could at most speak about something really dirty about him that is leaked or the aftermath of the gunt becoming the violent one.
