The trans community has been pushing that sex and gender are different for years, attacking anybody who says otherwise, and now that this notion is adopted, they've turned around and blamed everyone else for having the very idea they just pushed onto them.

His assertion that the "scientific terms" are for specifics is completely idiotic. Using the term "sex" to describe a person's sexually identifying characteristics is the scientific term. If Kevin doesn't want scientists to refer to sex using that very word, he must suggest something to replace it. And with all his talk of "moving the goalposts," if he actually did suggest one and it got accepted, the trans community would stomp their feet until that too became a meaningless word.

I can understand the subtitle aggravation shit with shit thats translated into english. There's countless times officially translated shit isn't translated properly these past several years and has weird additions or omissions. There was a fucking japanese thing I saw like a year ago where characters were talking about hamburgers literally saying "hambaga" in engrish but for the entire conversation the subtitles just said "steak" or "steaks" and then later in the thing when the topic came up again there was ONE utterance of "hambaga" that said "hamburger" as the subtitle.
There's more and more cases of engrish not lining up with what the subtitles say and it pisses me the hell off.
getting mad over the "oh" noise not being in the subtitles is kinda odd though for real less sensible than getting mad over engrish not matching up.

Moving the goalposts constantly, changing definitions and revising the narrative of what happened previously is a common tactic used by abusers to keep their victims in a constant state of confusion and vulnerability, constantly meek and soft-spoken to avoid setting off the abuser's ire.
