Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

I think that for the most part, the public will lay down and listen to the government for probably another year. The pitchforks won't come out until the endless booster campaign rears its ugly head and people start to question the efficacy of a vaccine that needs multiple shots per year (as opposed to the regular flu shot, which are for different strains, not variants) in order to have some semblance of work. However, fatigue is quickly setting in. The Johns Hopkins study quietly came out and admitted that lockdowns had no impact on mitigating the virus. This news, of course, got zero air time or mention on the public networks. Similarly, a discussion at the World Economic Forum’s Davos Agenda 2022 , Moderna's CEO (Stéphane Bancel) encouraged "Vaccine Mania" to persist indefinitely.

I have seen rising support for anti-mandate protests such as the Canadian truckers, with some idiots on sites like Imgur criticizing them for honking and "occupation". After the GoFundMe debacle, over 4 million Canadian dollars have been raised for them with an alternate website (GiveSendGo).

You still have some branch Covidians still screaming about how people should get vaxed + boosted and trumpet from on high that "measures are necessary until everyone gets the jab and the booster" - which is straight out of "the beatings will continue until morale improves" playbook - but even those people are starting to get drowned out by public discontent. Every time the government demands another shot or another backtrack on mandates, public faith is eroded. I don't have any hopes that people will come to the same logical conclusion that many "anti-vaxers" had in the months or years before any time soon, but I am encouraged by the increasingly rational response.
I live in a blue area and some restaurants don't even have the "must be vaxxed sign" anymore.

I live in a blue area and some restaurants don't even have the "must be vaxxed sign" anymore.
Meanwhile I tried to go on a date in a local city and when I showed a clean test result they called in the goddamn manager because they "Weren't sure if we can accept that" and a buddy of mine in Washington says they're doing some shit where one of their counties is setting up a "vaxxies only" program in their restaurants. No clean tests accepted.
Which, by the way, is the single strongest indicator in all this that it's about compliance, not health. The vaxxed don't have to prove they aren't sick to go in somewhere, but the unvaxxed do.

Paraphrasing a quote I heard:

"If the jab worked, muzzles wouldn't be needed. If muzzles worked, the jab wouldn't be needed."
They'll just answer with the cheese-model, all the individually inefficient things add up to something efficient.
So during the Delta wave we had higher numbers, but lower fatalities. During the Omicron wave have even higher cases, but even lower fatalities.
It is, of course, explained that the vaccines worked so well, but wasn't Delta supposed to be less dangerous already, just more transmissible?
Do we actually see the effect of vaccines in any official numbers?

Also, Denmark opening everything really gets the local Branch Covidians spinning, grasping at every straw. "Their peak vaccination quota is 94% and they're totally more solidary, so they can do that! Just obey better and we could do the same!", when our peak quota (among 60+ yo) is 88%, and the behaviour simply isn't all that different. Yes, the six percentage points difference between 94% and 88%, which, as you should know, is actually 12% difference, is a huge difference! (But also not the point reereeree, quoth the Twitter faggot)
You know, there are some anonymous Twitter accounts that have gathered some fame over the past two years being at the forefront of the Branch Covidian Control Company, and if there's any justice in the world they'll be made public and laughed at mercilessly after the shitshow is over. Of course, Clown World is eternal and nothing like that will happen.

>Jesus loves me most
It wasn't the vaxx that did it, it was God, and he's not wasting any more lightning bolts on these sorts of people after he obliterated St. Floyd's mural last year.
I have noticed something the past few months. All the preachy covidians who extoll the virtues of the vaxxes and how the plague rats should be dead or something, somehow end up either dead or out on a stretcher in public. Its like getting smitten by god for being a Karen.

Should we take that info with a pinch of salt? If it's not the case, how long Hollywood will deny then it's the jab who did it?

Another female comedian in hospital over a "health scare" ...
Chelsea Handler was set to continue on her Vaccinated and Horny tour, which has now been pushed to March

So some hope. I live in Illinois and apparently a recent lawsuit went through as parents were mad at schools for issuing a mask mandate. They won, it seems. A few schools will be fully maskless as the judge apparently came out without a mask, said she is done with Covid BS and ruled in favor. Get fucked Pritzker.
It's a preliminary ruling and may get overturned. But just like in Virginia, all the sane school districts RAN to get rid of masks as soon as the state order was rescinded, while holdouts in the blue islands are ignoring it. Here is a list: https://ihsscentral.substack.com/p/mask-optional-list Lots of Chicago burbs in there.

I really hope Illinois stops being pozzed.
Lol, that ain't happening until the tumor known as 'Chicago' is excised from the state.

You know I wonder what the yearly "flu" deaths would be if we applied the same standards of declaring a COVID death (28 days past positive test, swabbing dead bodies, died with = died of).
It would probably be well over 150,000 - 200,000K a year, at least, I'd bet.

young doctors . . . 61 years old . . .
This is the Post-COVID age, buddy.
Anyone under 75 is "young" and anyone under 350lbs with only two preexisting conditions is "healthy" now.

Apologies if this is a little off topic, but I'm watching reruns of NCIS: New Orleans shot during the "pandemic" and it's shocking how badly they've aged after just a year or so. Agents are investigating faulty masks (people died bro!) and the coroner is stacking bodies in the hallways while agents on the "ship of death" are trying to fight a terrorist or something while struggling with their own mortality because everyone onboard tested positive for corona, which is being treated like the black plague. This is Reefer Madness levels of hysteria..

Sometimes I forget any of those shows still exist. Stopped caring about NCIS nearly 10 years ago. Wonder if anyone still remembers JAG?

I guess lots of comedians wish then they won't be the third one to fall on stage.

Btw, American Thinker is on a big roll with lots of articles today.

Is the Coronavirus the Greatest Crime Against Humanity?

By Janet Levy

China hid the outbreak of Covid-19 from the world for monthshttps://www.americanthinker.com/art...e_greatest_crime_against_humanity_.html#_edn1. Brave Chinese citizens had been sending out smoke signals, but governments did not take notice. Now, there is reason to suspect that some scientists in the U.S. were aware of (if not complicit in) a cover-up that began as soon as the pandemic started.
It wasn’t until December 31, 2019, that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) acknowledged that a SARS-CoV-2 pandemic had broken out in Hubei province, where the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) is located. But Beck says there’s substantial evidence of it having begun much earlier. Let’s look at the events chronologically.
Months before the official acknowledgement, photographs and videos of empty streets, closed businesses, and the enforcement of precautionary measures in Hubei had been appearing on social media. Beijing’s denials of a pandemic were disproved by posts from medical professionals showing hospitals overflowing with sick and dying patients. Videos showed officials dragging away infected people from their homes, even welding doors shut to confine people to their buildings.
More to lend credence to retrospective theories of wrong-doing came from a September 12, 2019 event – the WIV database on coronaviruses was taken down. Research organizations freely share such databases with scientists, but WIV alleged that hackers were targeting it. The institute requisitioned additional security. Some days later, the institute updated its air-handling system, an unusual activity to prioritize during a data breach. Experts believe the lab was probably rectifying its biosafety ventilation – but after the virus had escaped.
In October of the same year, Wuhan hosted the Military World Games, attended by more than 10,000 athletes from 100 countries. Participants remarked that the streets were empty; Wuhan seemed like “a ghost town.” They spoke of rumors that the government had warned Chinese citizens not to venture out. On arrival, athletes were required to have their temperature taken and to wash their hands before entering any building. When American athletes returned home, according to information released by the Pentagon, infections occurred at 63 military facilities. In addition, athletes from other countries reported falling ill at the games and later infecting their families. Military and medical experts were already suspecting that China was hiding a medical emergency.
On December 3, 2019, following reports of researchers getting sick, the WIV requested an air- curtain incinerator, a device used to control air emissions during burning. While it’s not unusual for labs to use it to prevent airborne pathogens from spreading, the timing – and China’s stonewalling of international efforts to investigate the institute – have made scientists wonder what was amiss.

An Obama photograph proves the lies of ‘climate change’ and COVID

By Andrea Widburg

The left is built upon a mountain of falsehoods but two of the biggest are that humankind is trembling on the brink of destruction because of ‘climate change’ and that onerous COVID restrictions are the only things keeping us alive. So what are we to make of an unmasked Obama standing around construction workers, very grumpy about work on his multimillion-dollar beachfront Hawaiian mansion. What I make of it is that both “climate change” and COVID restrictions are huge parts of that mountain of lies.
Here's the picture that is a microcosm of all the lies:

The cult of Climate Change tells us that, unless we abandon all fossil fuels, the oceans will rise and every coastal community will be destroyed. When Obama bought his coastal Martha’s Vineyard house it was pretty clear that he didn’t believe a word of this narrative. This was rather peculiar considering the vast amounts of taxpayer money he funneled to green energy initiatives as part of the 2009 “stimulus” spending following the recession.

Heck, going back further, that first beachfront purchase was even more peculiar when you consider the speech Obama gave when accepting the Democrat party nomination in 2008:

The Thin Man solves the COVID case

By Sheldon Bart

Dashiell Hammett’s urbane sleuth, Nick Charles, was brilliantly portrayed by the suave Golden Age actor, William Powell, in the celebrated “Thin Man” movies of the 1930s and 40s. The sleek, radiant Myrna Loy played his perfect wife, Nora. The highlight of each film in the series, other than the lively banter between Nick and Nora, came in the last reel, when Nick would assemble the suspects and solve the case.
Let’s imagine that Nick Charles was called in to solve the COVID mystery. The following scene unfolds in an elegant suite at the Plaza Hotel in New York. All the suspects are present, with Detective Guild of the NYPD standing by. This is, of course, fiction, entirely a product of imagination.

235742_5_.jpg

Nick takes the floor.
“I don’t have to tell our distinguished guests that we’re dealing with a most unusual and highly complex case. Hundreds of thousands of our fellow citizens have lost their lives. The national economy has been slain. Small businesses in every city and town have gone kaput, never to open their doors again. Millions of lives have been disrupted, the population demoralized. All due to a pandemic that suddenly arose, in an obscure corner of the world, a hemisphere away. Or so we’ve been led to believe. But I can tell you that the guilty parties are in this room.”
Murmurs of dismay erupt from the startled guests.
Nick continues. “Let’s start with you, Mr. Gates. Bill Gates, one of the wealthiest men in the world. Entrepreneur and philanthropist. Five years ago, Mr. Gates , you organized the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness. You and a network of global partners would get out in front of nature. You would create your own lethal viruses. The idea was to stockpile new vaccines to head off epidemics before they had a chance to emerge.”
Gates interrupts. “What are you implying, Charles? That it was wrong to try to end suffering and disease?”
“Of course, not,” Nick counters. “No, your crime was hubris. Have you ever heard of the legend of King Canute? He installed his throne at the seashore and ordered the tides to roll back and cease splashing on his divine feet. Canute wasn’t a fool, Mr. Gates. He was actually trying to teach his courtiers an object lesson, that there were limits even to the sovereign power of a great monarch. But you must have been reading your own publicity. You thought you could command deadly microbes to crouch obediently in their petri dishes, like lions in a cage, while you were acclaimed for your benevolence and generosity. A risky prospect at best. But you found a willing partner in our next guest, Dr. Fauci.”
All eyes turn to the immunologist, who manages an impassive stare.

When it comes to masks, shall the little children lead us?

By Pandra Selivanov

If a picture is worth a thousand words, the photo of Gavin Newsom and Magic Johnson sans masks is worth an entire lexicon. As criticism mounts and Newsom struggles to justify his “Do as I say, not as I do” philosophy, kids are taking matters into their own hands.
Students in the Oakdale Joint Unified School District used Newsom’s disregard of his own mask policies to organize maskless protests. Three-hundred-seventy-five students went to school without masks on Wednesday, and 344 refused to mask up on Thursday. Nolan Harris, an Oakdale High School freshman, said, “If they don’t follow by their own rules that they’re trying to force upon me, why should I follow them.”
Kids without masks also marched on the Oakdale Joint Unified School District headquarters, listening to cheers from people in the streets who supported their protest. In San Diego, students referenced Newsom’s photo as their rationale for refusing to wear masks in schools.
The kids are definitely onto something. Research has identified critical learning periods that shape the brains of children. Conversational interplay is partly related to words, partly to social interaction.
It would seem that children are beginning to react instinctively to what scientists have documented; namely, that cognitive development is linked to language that includes the quality as well as the quantity of words that are heard. At this point in time, we all know from bitter experience how poor the quality of conversation is when words are muffled and facial expressions are hidden by masks.

Was it ever possible that masks could work to prevent the spread of COVID? Randomized control trials, the gold standard for scientific research, suggest that the answer is no. California has forced children into masks, while Florida has allowed children to run free. The number of children contracting COVID in both states is approximately the same—again suggesting that masks do not work in any meaningful way to prevent the spread of COVID.
I feared that an entire generation was going to succumb to the notions that normal human interaction was too perilous to take part in; that showing one’s face in public was tantamount to announcing one’s intention to commit mass murder by microbe; and that the only socially responsible way to live was by cowering in fear behind a scrap of cloth. Now I am heartened by the protests breaking out across California, spearheaded by children who have decided to take back their childhood.

The wrath of God ascended upon them and slew of their stoutest
Despite all this, they sinned again and did not believe despite His wonders.
And He ended their days in vanity and their years in terror.
When He slew them, they would seek Him, and they would repent and pray to God.
And they remembered that God is their rock and the Most High God is their Redeemer.
Psalm 78:31-35

The righteous man will rejoice because he saw revenge; he will bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked.
And man will say, "Truly, the righteous man has reward; truly there is a God Who judges on earth."
Psalm 58:11-12
When the Liberals ask you were God is, you now have an answer for them.

For the dude worried about sexually transmitted vaccines. Keep in mind even if it was transmitted to you, part of what makes the shot so dangerous is it getting directly into the blood stream via the shot and catching it sexually isn't the same as having it directly injected(giggity) into you blood.

Flu deaths are counted in two ways. First are suspected cases confirmed via PCR, which are a small subset of the overall death count as PCR testing is rarely done except in hospitals. Even then a doctor is required to sign on the death certificate that flu was a contributing factor and this only happens in cases of type 1 respiratory failure. Next are estimated mortality figures from the various public health authorities and is very much a guesstimate. Flu takes a horrendous toll in nursing homes year in year out with most cases not being counted.

Compare with Covid, with incessant mass testing. Everyone passing through an Emergency Department is routinely swabbed, literally every single person. You have some of the virus in your nose you're a Covid case. This is particularly true in the US where hospitals are financially awarded from over counting cases. A stroke or heart attack patient comes in for treatment you can be damned sure they're going to be swabbed over and over again in the hope they show up positive, especially if they're terminal as they will then be counted as a Covid death, kaching!

The only reliable way to measure the impact of the virus is to look at all cause mortality in a given year and on that basis Covid in the first year was a pretty shitty flu and in the second a total nothing. It's become even more ridiculous with Omicron, a highly infectious common cold bug that a significant percentage of the population will be carrying at any given time. We need to at least half the reported deaths with Omicron and more realistically discount them by 80-90%.

Is this how the (probably correct) theory the virus spread around the world starting October 2019 works? I take it the government ignored the virus (because few knew it existed) as it gained a decent kill count which they attributed to pneumonia or didn't bother checking at all? And then in February they got new marching orders to launch the scamdemic in the West starting in Italy, where the shitty healthcare system was having trouble like it usually does in bad flu seasons?

The early days of the scamdemic are fascinating on so many levels, just the sheer amount of corruption, incompetence, lies, and pure evil at play.

Basically yeah.
If you look back at a lot of early COVID cases, they are in fucking nursing homes (at least in the US).
You mean to tell me the virus got here from the airport, then travelled straight into a fucking nursing home?

They only noticed the virus when already frail old people with <5years to go anyways started kicking the bucket early. THEN the great freak-out happened when they started testing people dying of ARDS for COVID, and it came back positive.
But then for whatever dumb fucking reason they decided "any death after 28 days of a positive COVID test is a COVID death" among other dumb testing/counting procedures, and viola the world's deadliest plague that somehow barely dents the human population.

... a buddy of mine in Washington says they're doing some shit where one of their counties is setting up a "vaxxies only" program in their restaurants. No clean tests accepted.
The response to that is a growing number of people in those counties, especially king county, are doing their shopping and dining in neighboring places like Pierce which aren't five mile's up Inslee's slimy infected pucker.
Turns out to be a pretty nice windfall for business that were previously struggling to get traffic in for a hot minute. Its not unusual to get a phone call asking you guys ask for the nazi card at the door? Verbatim.
