Yeah, there is no hype and their discord is dead but as far as i know they're still working on the full rework

I havent checked but most of the nu-team seems to keep it under wraps because even in my lurking in other fallout adjecent discords there is no mention of anything rework related or anyone working on it, and most of the time if the frontier does get mentioned its just a snide "yeah it sucked tbh" to "only 4chin incels disliked it, chud"

All normie interest is dead in sharp contrast to the initial release and even non 4 chan "chuds" or whatever they want to call them still look at the work with great skepticism

I'm aware that Null talked about it, but it was more that Mikeburnfire, despite being aware of the degenerate content within it and how the team threw a member under the bus to "save" the project, went and still played the broken thing and then kept sucking the lead dev's dick for over an hour.

Given he also mocked the backlash about it during the actual unearthing I'm assuming he's just being a contrarian.

To sperg about fallout and something Null said on strim at 30:40

He is right that all body meshes are the same, however, i do believe it is more than possible to add in custom meshes and body types to a "specific" armor set that just overrides the base body mesh with the newer mesh, base Fallout 3 does this for the pregnant woman in the beginning but the frontier itself uses it to make a Crusader's character actually more lol-fat while wearing a patients gown

although i forgot if that mesh was the one with the detailed feet

Hello! Modder here who has quite a bit of experience with the GECK. What you say is true, however, you can create a custom race for a specific character in the GECK. For instance, Someguy2000 created a custom race for his character Russell that had a burn scar on his face. The race was unique only to the character of Russell. Likewise, the same can also be said about the custom female characters in the Frontier. America has, what I believe, is the Type 3 Body that is on the Nexus. The feet on that body mod is pretty detailed. The creator of America more then likely created a custom character race for America with the Type 3 Body mesh and textures.

You see, that only makes everything even more creepy in regards to, well everything, America. That sounds like it took extra effort.

You can only hope they don't fuck it up but if you have any hope regarding it you only need to look at who makes mods.
