Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

It's called "we have one server managing several hundred requests per second and a 1Gbps line that is almost always maxed out and upgrading it is going to cost $700 more a month + the costs of a router and we're already paying an extra $1500 a month for DDoS filtering"
Sounds like a rough situation, I was just commenting that the post may have gotten lost in the shuffle. Obviously once you posted those screen caps that clears up any questions.

Don't let these posters get to you null, we appreciate what you do for us. They do too, even if they don't show it.

The expert class should learn (but won't, ample opportunities already) to not lie. One of the biggest problems the expert class in the modern world has is an attitude, "Well, I know I'm right, but the common people are too stupid to understand, so if lying is the only way to get them to do the right thing, well, then we have to lie." For example, they "just know" that lockdowns and masks and such will "stop the virus," but they did know that talking about Wuhan gain-of-function research will make them lose credibility, so they lied about it. Similarly, they believe 100% that the vaccines are "the way out," but they also know that people knowing about the side effects will make them lose confidence in vaccine mandates, so they lie about those, too. These people have an absolute, unshakeable confidence in themselves, and while this sounds nuts, they don't really think lying destroys their credibility. If people don't trust them, well, that's because people are stupid. The mentality there is, "Sure, I lied, but I'm still the guy with the PhD and the authority position. You have no warrant to trust anyone else."
This is something I’ve taken issue with since I was a kid: Authorities lying and exaggerating because they think scaring you into submission is the only way to get you to “listen”. It's scummy and it's insulting.

What’s sad is that even most of the people who bitch and moan about how D.A.R.E and whatnot exaggerated the dangers of drugs and alcohol back in the day don’t seem to understand that this tactic never goes away. It doesn't stop once you become an adult, authorities will be trying to use it on you your whole damned life.

Ordered a few items to show support of the protests, and ironically realized they'll probably get held up in the border lockouts. Otherwise I am absolutely loving following this. Hell, even my extreme lefty friends are starting to agree with the truckers, and are getting worried about Trudeau's behavior. I'm not really worried he's gonna try and military it or anything, but I can easily see him accidentally striking up an international incident with some poor choice of words about the people.

If anyones gonna snap and overreach, its the city mayors and police chiefs. Those are the ones to keep an eye on.

That sad part is, it's not just about the lies. It's also the attempted manipulation that get's seen through. A clear example of this is the establishment's outright REFUSAL to acknowledge any negatives exist. For example, CNN (just using them as an example) could tell me the absolute truth about the effectiveness of the vaccine, but if they don't tell me the potential hazards and that associated data as well, they aren't trying to help me make an informed decision. They are trying to manipulate me into coming to their preferred decision.

I'm vaccinated. I looked at the (at the time) benefits and risks, and came to the obvious conclusion that yes, the vaccine is by and large safe for the general populace, even though it may not be as effective as promised. I have several conditions that make me high risk for hospitalization and severe covid. I determined that the data showed the benefits outweighed the costs for me personally, so I got it. But that was my personal decision based on my health and after looking at all of the data. Another person's equation won't look the same as mine. But the bottom line is that I looked at ALL of the data, not just the good data everyone wants you to see.

At the same time, I don't want to force ANYONE to get the vaccine. I don't want it mandated. I want everyone to be able to do the same thing I did: Look at all of the data, talk with their TRUSTED doctors, and come to their own PERSONAL decision on if they should take the vaccine. This is NOT as effective as the polio or small pox vaccine. This vaccine won't eradicate the disease or prevent you from catching it.

An extra 700 sounds ridiculous. Is there not an alternative way around this situation? Either way I will try to support when I can.

It's all part of the same postmodern marxist way of thinking.

By the 1970’s it was blindingly apparent that Marx’s theories were wrong, and that their application always led to dictatorship and misery, not to mention massive deaths. So instead of admitting defeat, the Left turned to Postmodernism where facts don’t matter. They felt Marxism was Good, so it had to be. They turned it from an economic theory into a religion, complete with a paradise, an original sin, and Salvation.

The Science® is their religion, being white is an original sin, etc etc.
yeah this is also why they suddenly became environmentalists and got really into this doofus

Probably some spastic who went to "talk to staff" and wrote a 5 paragraph long manifesto on how free speech is sacred and mods are fags.
Probably that Bippu guy, he was the one who made a post about posts disappearing and framed it as a conspiracy. He was also one of the guys posting how to guides on B&E.
