It's the idea that the American view of liberty originates in ancient Germanic folkways, and that the Patriots were in fact reactionaries restoring the ways that were disappearing under the Hanoverian court, the Shabbos Goy David Hackett Fischer revived a version of it in the late 1980s with Albion's Seed.

I see where you're coming from, but this is a more complex operation than a local garbage strike. It's a national operation. First, the honking is important precisely because it enrages the people of Ottawa. It forces Trudeau's hand. This anti-honk court injunction is probably the government's biggest win in this whole series of events. If the people of Ottawa were ambivalent, then it would be a valid strategy for Trudeau to simply wait for the truckers to tucker themselves out and go home, because they're bored or whatever. Instead, Ottawans are losing their shit, and it forces Trudeau to deal with it directly: either concede to demands, or perform a crackdown that will be a PR nightmare, and probably make the people of Canada double down at all the local and border-related protests.

Additionally, everyone hates Ottawa; it's kind of like Washington DC as "The Swamp" etc. Pissing off the Ottawa urbanite soy bugmen is good PR for the truckers with respect to the rest of Canada. Just look at the immense amount of fun this thread has had harvesting salt from Reddit/Twitter/MSM. Ottawans were going to despise the truckers regardless, so it might as well be leveraged. In a US context, imagine trying to run a MAGA hearts and minds campaign in a deep blue area like DC or San Francisco--it's just not going to happen.

It's a dangerous mistake to assume that "uncultured" means "stupid", but these people conflate education with intelligence constantly.

I've been thinking lately about a reality TV show called Timber Kings. Watched it on Netflix with the missus and we had lots of fun watching this guy (8th grade education, owner of a mill and logging operation) overcome seemingly impossible hurdles, day or night, sea or land, just to get some wood onto market. He'd be there running between three ancient logging machines by himself to unload a truck or whatever other crazy thing he needed to do.

He made his own road down a mountainside and built a floating dock out of scrap sewer lines to haul barges of timber out of his claim.

A track fell off of a loader and he just used the logs he was hauling as a counterweight to keep it balanced so he could load the fucking truck and get out of there. Those are just a few off the top of my head. And he's got machinery everywhere. Thousands of tons easily.

That's not to mention all of the friends, family members and business associates who had a diverse set of skills and interests and access to their own heavy machinery. I have no idea what that guy thinks of all this, but if men like him decide it's time to stick their thumbs in the government's eye the bugmen are going to learn real quick who the real fools around here are.

Better yet, the attempts to smear them (the arson guy, the confederate guy with the mask) have been seen as false flags, no matter how much twitter repeats it, which gets more normies on their side. The government is really going to need to work hard to make the truckers look bad in the eyes of the public, because the public is starting to wake up to the bullshit.

Not sure if this was posted but Sarah Westall had a good interview with Kyle Kemper (Trudeau's half brother via his mom iirc). Kyle supports the Freedom Convoy and pleads with Justin to drop the mandates/resign. I can't imagine having a family member so commited to evil. Kyle is living in the US because doesn't want to be vaxxed.

I always looked up to how handy my grandpa was. Being handy and resourceful, having the ability to improvise, adapt, and overcome, has been one of my enduring life aspirations.

I lived there for the last 2 1/2 years and it was a largely fucking miserable experience.

The fact that it's happening in Ottawa fills me with glee, and the more and longer they suffer is something that *almost* made my time there worth it.
