Something has happened, though what is impossible to say. I dont think he's gone this long without a letter surfacing at all.
Either Kengle has finally lost the role of Mouth of Chandler, or someone (Hillenberg?) managed to get Chris to shut up and stop incriminating himself further. Or, long shot, they put him in the hole, which is not something you'd expect in county jail...

Maybe. It's been quite a while that there's nothing fresh and new from Chris. I guess he's currently speding time in prison doing inmate stuff with no letters, no nothing for now.

If the last letter we saw was the last he sent, then there are some funny implications that people fucking with his headcanon CWCville was what finally drove him off... Again. Hi Alec.
But theres also the possibility that he was always gaming for handouts to pay for 14BC's expenses, only he finally realized that no one was going to pay for Barb or her mortgage and bananas, and stopped wasting energy.

To add to your last point, pretty much every dope that's written and posted their letters has been doxed or harassed. Same with that idiot who made the phone calls. I'm more surprised radio silence didn't happen sooner, to be honest.

Didn't chris say that him being put in jail is punishment for everyone else because now they can't listen to his crazy? Maybe he went silent to "punish" us.

To be one of the jail officers having to witness Chris' tard rages of not being outside socializing for his big 4-0. It serves Chris right for being a depraved egotist for all those years. What did the dumb motherfucker expect to happen, him being released with the court giving him a bag of money for the months of being behind bars for the crime he confessed of doing?
I guess it beats another year of writing another long FB post about celebrating his birthday alone again.

With Chris you need to dangle the carrot and give him a nibble to get him to do anything, DStecks fucked up and opened a Sloth Flood gate for minimal effort, but even if he didn't do it Chris would have still ended up e-begging.
I sorta think so but it's because the donations have slowed down, he's not in the news any more and people are sorta forgetting about him again. Weens have short attention spans and his Prison milk is dull funny but dull so they have gone back to spending there money on funcos and DLC, so Chris is having to prioritise his creature comforts over spreading his gospel of Sonichu.
To Chris personal comfort is his first thought, so if it's a choice between a stamp and a pack of noodles he'll chose noodles, It's a real world choice for chris like if you got charged for a email or a tweet he will use his money for personal stuff before spending money on talking with the outside world, If anything I'm shocked that we've had as many letter as we have but I forgot to account for Chris getting bored and wanting to vent to willing people.
As for direction towards not writing, Yea I could see his Solicitor saying don't write people or call people etc but I can't see a judge or alike saying he's not allowed, especially in the US. Chris has a ego and really wants people to know what he's thinking so he will still write but I can see Ken trying to and failing to maintain contact with Chris and obeying his wishes etc and hording stuff because of that.

It’s been a while, but wasn’t his plan to give Chris a prepaid Visa card just to see what he spends the money on? But nothing amazing came out of it(he bought toys and a lot of fast food, what a scoop!) so he tried to claim moral high ground by saying it was trollers remorse?

Pretty much from his understanding anyway, he might have been told that the letters are bad for various reasons, but he cant understand why and will still talk to trusted soul poneys or alike.
