I don’t think they can go after that order if they do arbitration. USA lawfags might know better.
Even if they CAN do it, if they have BTFO him on the merits, why would they go after that kind of order?
A U.S. District Court would retain jurisdiction to make a vexatious litigant finding based on conduct under their jurisdiction, even if the case is now gone. Obviously the Arbitrator has no power to issue such a finding or enforce it on a federal court.
Rusty never thought that if he even made it onto the show that all contestants that may be on air have background checks done on them and once the stalking charge was found.. He would be rejected automatically.
I'd honestly expect them to make that argument because it would moot any of Russ's other arguments.

I believe one single man was responsible for all contestants on anything getting background checks. This guy.

Rodney Alcala, Dating Game contestant, who later turned out to be a serial killer, and already had a lengthy history of sex crimes before appearing on the show, including extreme assaults on children. He was introduced as a "successful photographer."

They could just flat out tell him that he's banned for life and they'll file for harassment if he contacts them again.
God I hope they do. Russ would just sue them again for discrimination because clearly the only reason they perma banned him from AGT is because he's disabled. Now he needs compensation for all the money and fame he would have received had he been allowed to compete. Since he's so talented he would have won easily.

The other example for background checks is 2009 reality show Megan wants a millionaire contestant, Ryan Jenkins (who hanged himself after being the subject of an police search for the murder for his wife Jasmine who he married after being eliminated from the show). He was on 2 VHI shows aired at the same time which only a couple of episodes were shown before cancelation of both series.

I believe I fond the Drummer of the band Russ hired.
On Instagram a drummer who has an id of amonte_the_drummer who looks very much like the drummer in the Russ agt red jacket performance image. This Amonte guy also liked the Russ agt lawsuit post which was un privated.
Looks as this guy has great drumming skills so the band had to sound good .
I'm thinking the band he works with was the full band hired.
But no images of them with Russ at the AGT audition on the drummer guys page at all.
Just something I discovered.
This post needs more attention.

The fact that he liked Russ’ post is a little concerning, but this could be huge. If he pisses off that band in any way, we have a chance of getting some of the most up close and personal stories about Russ we’ve ever had.

Amazing find.

Why would they want that? I mean, I guess if they wanted to they could if they managed to prove that no other alternative is viable/available.
Their best bet at this point is to just divest of him entirely. And the Greers may have already done just that for all we know. That or they just pretend he was some bad "prank gone wrong" done to them and they just go on about their day as best they can.
I'm worried he may lash out and hurt people, but on the other hand, it's nice to watch Russ get slapped down like this.
He will. Mark my words--he is on the fast track to one of three destinations: Prison, the hospital, or six feet under.
I love how she keeps the most distance possible between her and Russ as to stay in frame.
I'm pretty surprised he was not the only grown man to buy backstage passes to see AG.
She doesn't appreciate the smell of Men's Warehouse store seconds "cleaned" in Dryel and the bathtub mixed with halitosis and Sardinian cheese.

In Greer v. Swift 1, Russhole claims Taylor Swift first came to his attention in 2014, while he was in college. There's no mention of the story he put in his book "Why I Sued Taylor Swift" of how he was introduced to Taylor's music by his sister while he was in prison following his high school shooting threat:
The jail TV "origin story" from the book is a little odd, but it's totally consistent with textbook erotomania which is why I believe it happened. One of the symptoms that can happen with that delusion is the belief that the target is talking to them through songs on the radio, videos, etc. A song playing overhead in a grocery store is a secret message from the target. A scrawled pun on a coffee shop chalkboard is a signal that she wants to meet up. Telling you "Fuck off and leave me alone" is just her secretly saying she loves you because her boyfriend would get mad. Etc. He might have applied it retroactively, but he probably does believe the jail Taylor story. Yeah yeah I know erotomania is a total armchair diagnosis, but Russell has a specific pattern to his efforts that's described really well by erotomanic delusion, especially the stalking components. He doesn't outright claim that his targets are secretly into him, but I wonder if it's something he privately thinks. The case study I linked above is pretty worrying because that guy got worse, not better, with age, and did escalate to threatening a target with a knife for getting between him and another "girlfriend".

It's ok, he wrote a letter to the judge saying it was all a misunderstanding so the restraining order doesn't really count.

Given how simple minded Russell is, I definitely believe he's the type to fall in love/obsession at first sight.

Yep, he has a child's mentality in all things. And there have been other things, like when he decided that Taylor not taking her tour to SLC was about him, when it was actually about venue size. Or when he decided the "dirtbag" he got sent by a troll was from her.

Russ definitely sees himself as a romantic comedy underdog hero and will never grow out of that. Every time he sees a woman he is attracted to he is sure that she'll be his.

So, we have to wait another 2 weeks for the anticipated milkflow?
The order says in clear words that Fremantle need not respond to the motion for preliminary injunction unless motion to compel is denied after which they get 2 weeks to reply.
Is this Fremantle trying to extend the clock?
No.

Sorry, I'm a nerd about criminal law, all of this arbitration and injunction stuff is getting me turned around.

Russ filed his preliminary injunction and Fremantle had until Feb 11 to respond.
Fremantle filed a motion to compel arbitration. Rusty has already responded, right?
So as soon as the judge decides on the motion, then the clock on the PI starts moving again IF the motion is denied.
And then Fremantle has two weeks to oppose.
If the judge approves the motion then they move to arbitration.

Do I have it?

This. There is some great lore to be had behind that "just a joke" high school kill list and whose names were on it and why....
