Can't post a single picture without first uploading it. It shows up in editing (both pre and post-post) but not to the viewers in the post.

Using opera browser but it's been confirmed to me at least in chat that my hyperlinked images do not work.

For example:

On the main page when I try to click on the Lolcow subheading it takes me to Movie Night instead of the list of lolcow threads. I don’t know if it’s just my shitty mobile browser or the site coding is wonky, but figured I’d mention it. Hopefully that makes sense. If you are already aware of it disregard.
 
I'm having trouble rating posts. I can go to other member profiles and I have the option to rate posts, but not on the forums. I also can't edit my profile. I'm a newfag. Sorry if this is an issue that's been addressed elsewhere. I've searched the forums and can't find an answer. Please someone help.

I think you have to wait some time to be able to edit your profile again? I had a similar issue when I joined the forum, but then it went away.

On another note, the search bar isn't working, the "an error occurred" message appears in both pc and mobile versions. Could it be related to the ddos attack?

Yeah, Null always kiboshes that feature during attacks - I guess because that feature uses more resources than a standard thread page request, so if it's disabled it can't be used as a method for attack.

You can use a regular search engine to search the boards, though. Just enter "site:kiwifarms.net' at the end of your query, such as "amberlynn reid site:kiwifarms.net".

I'm having the exact same problem. The only answers I've found are old posts where people were told they had their privileges removed for abusing the rating button. I'm not a brand new newfag, but I only lurk and very occasionally rate posts so I can't see that being the situation. Maybe it's some aftermath of the ddos attack?
 
Anytime I click on Next it just...wont load. I have to R click and open in a new tab. This has happened to me before but tends to go away. I'm cruising .is , should I be using .ru or onion instead?

I have had to do this with the main page too and open up the Today Time post whatever with R clicking also. Not that big of a deal, I'm just glad the site is back up n running
 
Disclaimer: I’m a mobile user. Not sure if this occurs on the webpage proper.

Recently, when going through a thread, clicking “Next” will take me to the next page, but it starts halfway through the thread. This isn’t game breaking by any means, but a minor annoyance.

Using Brave on iOS. I’ve cleared the browser cache. I have not tried using another browser to see if this can be replicated.
 
I can't insert images into posts. Browser instantly closes after clicking "insert full image". Maybe a memory issue?

Using Chrome on Android 11.
 
I have a legit grievance but it's rather specific:
Every time I start Orbot in VPN mode and try to access the site via Brave on mobile I get redirected to the .onion site, which then fails to load immediately.
The site loads up fine if I use the android tor browser or a normal vpn, it's just using tor over brave in mobile that causes this.
 
My news feed doesn't work. I only follow one person: @Null. It shows it as empty even though I follow him.

Latest Brave, Windows 10 x64 Pro.
 
I think Null or whoever is responsible for the themes should look into changing some of the text colors in some themes. For instance, I can barely read any text below "Forums > Interior" using the stealth theme.

I have noticed that the .onion service is http:// instead of https:// like the others.
Shouldn't they all be https://?

HTTP and HTTPS are only relevant on the clearweb. All traffic on the Tor network is encrypted by default.

It's a little hard to explain. A diagram will make it easier.

The solid blue line is the only point at which the traffic is ever non-encrypted. Data passing through that connection isn't encrypted, so an eavesdropper positioned there could read it.

If you're accessing the KF .onion URL, the traffic never leaves Tor, so it's end-to-end encrypted.

Thank you. All is clear.

The issue is that Brave flags http:/ as insecure and fails to turn that indication off in Tor mode.
Never had an issue with Tor itself.
