That's a really good take. Especially if they're like in their early 20s and the epidemic ate up two years of what would have been post-schooling socializing. And like you said, not excusing it.

I remember the exact moment I totally disconnected from Mr Nightmare's content. It was something like "true beach stories" where some retard claimed to have seen the Oprhan of Kos standing in the ocean where it was about 15 feet deep.

At least the stories where someone almost got shot or human trafficked were believable, if not repetitious.

I'm not Christian myself, but I do like Wendigoon's religious content. There's a lot of interesting and creepy lore, for want of a better word, in the Bible and other Christian texts and church history, I don't have to believe in angels to like hearing him tell stories about all the different weird and wonderful kinds in Jewish mythology. I think of it like a story about space aliens or vampires: I don't believe in those either, but I like a good story well told, and the possible origins of the stories. As long as the storyteller's not sperging out or trying too hard to convince you of their pet theory, I like it, that goes for religious and non-religious stuff.

He sometimes picks some real crappypasta to read, but the music he writes to go with them is always great.

I stumbled upon a channel called Internet Investigator. It's more of the same shit that has been discussed to death (reddit mysteries, final fantasy house, etc), only the narrator has a vagina and isn't obese, so they've managed to monetize their simps. It honestly pisses me off how low effort her videos are, with others already having done the actual research and collating of info, and her just reading out their posts in a monotone mumble while shilling a patreon and paypal multiple times per video.

Great channel, Japanese Urban Legends and happenings are a gold mine of interesting stuff but they're barely ever translated so dirty gaijin like us miss out on all this shit.

NM is the kind of guy you never want to agree with. He's like the stereotypical movie nerd who fully believes he appreciates movies on a different level than anyone else, except on his case it's even more obnoxious because he's getting pretentious over youtube ARGs.

He comes in at the end of the video with the extremely controversial take that MC is, in fact, not very scary, and instead of just saying all the attempted scares look goofy as fuck he goes on a long ass tangent about how fear is subjective and he's immune to the jumpscare tactics after being exposed to them for all these years and knowing all the horror tropes.

Nick is jumping in on the bandwagon way too late, his analysis is completely surface-level and he really adds nothing of value to the discussion of the series, which unfortunately isn't all too rare for him.

Mutahar is one of those guys I find really nice and entertaining when they're in Internet Historian's videos, but FUCK watching any of their non-IH work.

Or like Jabroni Mike without Fred Knudsen. Why even bother?

Nightmind being an pretentious and elitist over Mandela Catalogue is simply because it's too mainstream and not 'obscure' enough for him now.

Also the fact that he's late to the party and he knows it. I'm not the biggest Nexpo guy, but this is why guys like him and Wendigoon have eclipsed Nick.

Like, I get it, he's a youtuber. He has to do videos on the viral stuff if he wants to grow his channel, but there's no reason for this to come as late as it does. Dude took half a year just to put out a wikipedia summary of each video so far along with the dangerously hot take that stretched faces with big goofy eyes aren't scary.

It's really just sad that Nick constantly wants to show the world what a smrt patrician horror expert he is, yet even fucking Mutahar made a more insightful analysis on this topic than him.

Ah, that’s a shame about Wendigoon.

At least his videos are cool. I’ve been enjoying his Sunday School sessions he does for youtube (he hasn’t had one in awhile it seems).

Probably was already mentioned but him being an IRL Sunday School Teacher is cool.
