The only place I know in America that reliably always has a family restroom is target. There might be other places but that’s the only one I’m aware of. Single-occupancy Family restrooms solve a lot of little problems like this. Like when you are out running errands and have one son who is old enough to not be taken into the ladies room but a younger son who needs help reaching the sink etc who you wouldn’t send into the men’s alone. I imagine they are else nice for people with disabilities and wheelchairs who might appreciate the extra space and privacy too. Or women who need to take care of menstrual cups And don’t want to flash their bloody hands to any other women washing theirs.

but of course having sex-neutral places like this isn’t enough for troons because it was never about finding solutions to real problems.

Hence the ‘special blanket’ that’s washed daily lol, usually a pattered one neatly folded so that the ‘underside’ is the only part that touches the surface, and that’s even after spraying some disinfectant. Sometimes they have little paper liners, but I wouldn’t trust anything already in there.

changing mats often come as a set with diaper bags here. They’re like a small plastic-y mat you can easily wipe down and disinfect. I always assumed it was more to protect the changing surface from the baby’s butt and not the other way around but I think times have changed since it was a relevant issue for me 🤢

I get that the bad quality is probably on purpose but it just looks like found footage of a prostitute who was later found strangled behind a dumpster. A simple lyric video would be sufficient enough instead of a low budget video like that


At least Coconuts was catchy and Kim's earlier songs -whilst nothing revolutionary or special, were still better than this album


I know every woman pop singer goes thru the hyper sexualized phase at the behest of management but it seems a little late for Kim to do it, especially when the songs aren't catchy or evocative of 2000s.
The target demographic for a 2000s sound, would be for the people who were teens during the late 90s and early 00s, but Kim's actual fans are probably teens now so it doesn't make sense to me from a marketing standpoint

You can totally do songs that are supposed to heavily reference an era of music but if it doesn't feel authentic and nostalgic, then it has missed the mark, no?

songs being extremely generic never stood in the way of them becoming popular, and in his case probably helps getting more fans because generic is more palatable and easier for those that like the novelty to drown in the background than something more ""elaborate"" for the lack of a better word.

What a dumb motherfucker. Any inpatient surgery is going to involve at least an overnight stay and a will generally involve fair bit of recovery time at home (measured in weeks, not days) during which you aren't doing jack shit, at least not at first. You ain't going back on the clock for a good little while. Surely his doctor and surgeon both explained this to him. And he'll soon understand why he would want that post-surgical anesthesia to last as long as possible -- surgery involves slice & dice action and that shit fucking hurts. Feeling "nothing" is superior to feeling "holy fucking shit make it stop." They wire people up to that morphine drip with the magic button right after they leave the post-op ICU for a reason.

In minimal fairness, I will grant that (assuming he actually informed his boss that he was having inpatient surgery and isn't lying about his reaction) his boss was a cunt for being upset about him not coming in one day after inpatient surgery. Shit man, find someone else to flip burgers for a few days, let the guy's stitches come out first, jfc.

Given how he seemed to think this was a quick outpatient thing I'm inclined to think he asked off for one day only. Even a minor surgery like a gallbladder removal takes a week of recovery before the doctor will let you go back to work, and even then you'll be on restrictions on how much you can lift for a few weeks.

I would say I guarantee he was told this was inpatient, but he very likely wasn't, at least not until late in the game. I don't think I was explicitly told the hospitalization status of any of my surgeries until well after they were scheduled. Usually when confirming the date/time with the hospital and along the lines of "you'll need someone to drive you home", rather than "this is an outpatient/inpatient procedure". I didn't need to be told this as I'm not a moron (I Google everything too), but my doctor never told me.

TL:Dr: he may or may not have been explicitly told this was inpatient and if he was he probably forgot or didn't understand. People are stupid, which is why this place exists.
