Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

What was really interesting about that was Ford all but saying that vaxmaxxing doesn't do shit and even called out Trudeau for having his three shots and still catching the coof, something that was ban worthy on most social media platforms a year ago, and would have branded you a qanon MAGA heretic like Malone or Berenson for daring to insinuate.

But yes, I'll believe it when I see it and thankfully because the democrats in the states are seeing their poll numbers plummet magically the Science™ is changing and hey masks and mandates aren't that necessary anymore, Mission Accomplished right?
JBP claimed all this "Science" was based on opinion polls from the start, according to his government friend (because of course he has one). Given what you said & that half the Dems and a quarter of the Republicans thought the coof has a 50% chance of knocking you into the hospital and that's in a country that has Fox News to make a counter-narrative he's probably right. They're so dependent on manufacturing public opinion that if it stops working they panic.

How much of the poll drop is because we don't see stories about the truckers getting the coof from their "Carnival of Chaos"? All the dirty unvaxxed and their enablers in one big superspreader event and nothing happens except the managerial class getting mad at them, it's a lot harder to buy into the fearmongering when this happens.

The Canadian right has been spouting "Defund the CBC!" for years to no effect. Heavens, my first awareness of political bias comes from my childhood in the 90s, where a CBC source called the Liberals "the natural ruling party of Canada". It's been that bad for at least that long.

The day CANNOT come fast enough, but alas, the hope that I will see such is slim, given the machinations of Canadian politics.

You get there eventually.

Like the glorious day of the end of the Charter here in the UK in 2027. Where the BBC will have to learn how to commercially operate instead of being a taxpayer slushfund for depressing writers and directors.

That's a feature, not a bug. The Cathedral is hellbent on being as hateable as possible, so they can start rounding up wrongthinkers.
I think it's less about rounding up wrongthinkers (because usually you want to make people hate the group being rounded up rather than the one doing it) and more about maintaining the cohesion of their own class & client groups. It's similar with their harping on about "systemic racism" and calling everyone to the right of CNN a Nazi, instilling a fear that if the power of their benefactors is not continually reinforced that they will suffer a Day of the Rope. It's not a new strategy either judging by this passage from The River War:
Winston Churchill said:
[Khalifa Abdullah of the Mahdist State] invited his own tribe, the Taaisha section of the Baggara Arabs, to come and live in Omdurman. 'Come,' he wrote in numerous letters to them, 'and take possession of the lands which the Lord your God has given you.' Allured by the hopes of wealth and wives and the promise of power, the savage herdsmen came to the number of 7,000 warriors. Their path was made smooth and easy. Granaries were erected along the route. Steamers and sailing-vessels waited on the Nile. Arrived at the capital, all were newly clothed at the expense of the State. An entire district of the city was forcibly cleared of its inhabitants for the accommodation of the strangers. What the generosity of the Khalifa forgot or refused, the predatory habits of his clansmen procured; and they robbed, plundered, and swindled with all the arrogance and impunity of royal favourites. The populace of the city returned a bitter hatred for these injuries; and the Khalifa's object was attained. He had created a class in Omdurman who were indissolubly attached to him. Like him, they were detested by the local tribes. Like him, they were foreigners in the land. But, like him, they were fierce and brave and strong. His dangers, his enemies, his interests were their own. Their lives depended on their loyalty.

Here was the motor muscle which animated the rest. The Taaisha Baggara controlled the black Jehadia, once the irregular troops of the Egyptians, now become the regulars of the Khalifa. The black Jehadia overawed the Arab army in the capital. The army in the capital dominated the forces in the provinces. The forces in the provinces subdued the inhabitants. The centralisation of power was assured by the concentration of military material. Cannon, rifles, stores of ammunition, all the necessities of war were accumulated in the arsenal. Only the armies on the frontiers, the Taaisha tribe, and the khalifa's personal bodyguard habitually carried firearms and cartridges. The enormous population of Omdurman was forced to be content with spears and swords. Rifles were issued to the Soudanese whenever safe and necessary; cartridges only when they were about to be used. Thus several millions of warlike and savage people, owning scarcely any law but that of might, and scattered about a vast roadless territory, were brought into the firm grip of a single man.

For the sake of argument, let's say that is true.

Counterpoint: I don't care, fuck you, let me go to restaurants and travel again. I'll accept the risk like I accept the risks of choking when I eat and crashing when I fly. Nigger.
Jesus Christ I wish it was easier to give you money. But, like the truckers literally just trying to grill, supporting based-ass you is harder than refraining to shout "FRAU BLUCHER!" at AOC to see if she rears up and whinnies.

tl;dr I'M SHOVING THE MONEY AT THE SCREEN AS HARD AS I CAN BUT IT ISN'T TAKING IT :(

The mask is slipping even further

This is why I'm all aboard the Brave browser train.

It's only a few bucks a month from me, but it's easy, consistent, and it would aggregate to a lot of money if a substantial fraction of users did it.

To my fellow leafs: I've shared a lot of blackpills previously, and unfortunately so far they've been coming true (imo).

So, given the recent developments, this isn't going to be just more dooming:

With the declaration of the Emergencies Act, a line in the sand has been drawn.

Every leaf here that feels strongly about these events needs to make a choice: Do you want to escape this tyranny by emigrating to freer lands, or do you want to stay in Canada and try to change the course of the ship. Because unfortunately, while the choice was obscured before, now they've made it extremely overt that participating in the protests will strip you of everything. And throw felony level criminal charges on you for protesting or supporting, making emigration to somewhere like the States essentially impossible.

Personally, I've chosen the cowards option: get to the US legally, and fight tooth and nail to preserve freedom there in a country that actually cares about freedom and has the legal and intrinsic abilities to maintain to do so.

For leafs desperately trying to get out, there are still ways. Personally, I see Canada as Russia in 1918. It hurts to abandon my homeland, but these days America resembles the Canada I remember way more than the bughell we've become.

One of the reasons I'm so blackpilled on these events is that I am bug daywalker. I live in a super bughive, in a super bug industry, and everyone around me in daily life is max bug. My IRL "friends" are all ultra-Liberal supporters, so I know exactly what they think about these events. If the protests overtook the cities, I'd probably have to desperately stammer out my secret allegiances as I was strung up as just another bugdweller.
And let me tell you, the memes about NPCs blindly believing everything that's in the MSM and regurgitating it is 100% true. Even people who are reasonable and intelligent in many aspects just have this chip in their heads where they turn their critical thinking off regarding news completely, and then just blindly believe and repeat whatever the CBC farts out without even thinking. And that's terrifying. They're not retards you can just scam on anything, but they've been completely brainwashed.

And I have no idea how you could do that. I've been privately trying for over a decade with some of these people, and I've found it impossible. There are too many loyal dogs in this country, for better or for worse. No matter how badly you beat them, they still are subservient. And I realized that I can't stem the tide singlehandedly. So, rather than trying to convert everyone around me to think the way I do, I'd rather just move to where everyone already thinks like I do.

Escaping this country isn't a quick or a simple thing, it will likely take at minimum a year of hard hard effort to put yourself in the position to do so. But with 5 years of effort, almost anyone in this thread could put themselves into the position. So, if you're on the fence, the best time to start getting your affairs sorted out was 10 years ago, but the second best time is right now.

To the people who are going to stay and resist: Godspeed. If I didn't have the ability to escape, then I'd be with you. But I can't choose that hard life, not for me and my family. TPTB in Canada are strong and completely united, and it will be an extremely tough battle. Those that continue to resist are far, far braver than I. And I give you the utmost respect.
honestly fuck america, at least in mexico their police and ICE can be bribed. you're better off living there. A.its cheaper B.less crime in metro areas c.the government is so fucked by its own laws it literally doesn't have power over you (which is why it just sat on its hands throughout most of Covid.

Call this a schizo post, but I kind of am starting to wonder if the reason Biden told Trudeau to use federal powers to go full totalitarian is so there’s justification for a CIA-backed regime change.

Canada has more than enough resources that the burgers would want their hands on… and middle eastern countries went through sudden regime changes for much, much less than what Trudeau is doing.

"Community community community community", said the hive dweller.

Downtown Ottawa needs a permanent, coordinated law-enforcement capital police force. It needs permanent assistance for downtown community neighbourhood associations to help in community protection and education.
And we need to make it an offence to use trucks and car convoys to intimidate and take over roadways and communities.
There must eventually be an inquiry so that authorities will establish what went wrong, not simply rationalize and whitewash what appears to be a planned insurrection that they let fester and acted indecisively to contain. Things such as a citizen-initiated community healing forum and other community programs could help, as official inquiries and similar efforts cannot do it all.
The community wants back in. Offering community-based relief and compensation must be part of Ottawa’s recovery. Building a renewed sense of hope and community in Ottawa is a necessity.

Alright, now that we're back, it's time for DA NEWS (or "da recap" for the emotionally invested)

Apparently, Austria's gonna lift COVID restrictions.

Also, here's footage from @SydFizzard of the Coutts convoy saying farewell to the border.

I predict that there's going to be another small protest somewhere in Canada, but I don't there's going to be anymore DDoS's (unless truckers are still willing to put on the same amount of pressure).

In short, a lot of things happened. I am yet to pick up every single piece.
