This brought back a triggered flashback of when Woolie and Pat tried to come off as anime elitists by insisting that Simon from Gurren Lagann was pronounced like the (usually normal) western name...forgoing any explanation/feedback from chat (or others) that the Japanese language doesn't pronounced 'si' in the name the same way as we do, and that it's actually 'shi' (Like how Shiki from Senran Kagura is actually Siki for example), but would go on tirades about that.

As a Gundam fan it's insufferable to listen to Woolie talk about the series. He's a UC fan and it's pretty clear. Considering how obsessed he is with Char's VA. I can already see Woolie grinding the playthrough to a fucking halt trying to get 100% of all codec calls for MAXIMUM PLOT. As someone that tried and failed countless times to get all codecs, Woolie will legitimately make a 6 hour playthrough last several days.

I can already see Woolie grinding the playthrough to a fucking halt trying to get 100% of all codec calls for MAXIMUM PLOT. As someone that tried and failed countless times to get all codecs, Woolie will legitimately make a 6 hour playthrough last several days.

...but yeah Woolie would fuck it up. I've probably played through MGR around 15 times and I barely ever used the codec, it feels too disjointed in that game. You're going around parkouring over stuff, cutting people and gekkos and then you stop for 10 minutes to have a conversation.

I also found the codec side characters kinda boring. Boris and Doktor are alright, its Kevin and the blonde bitch I have a problem with.
