Phil is putting out a tweet and mope-begging for tips because he needs to afford games.

During this beg, Phil mentioned that he is holding off on Horizon because people purchasing it early and pre-loading it are apparently not getting access to 'both versions' (the PS5 and PS4) as they are supposed to.
Why is this an issue when Phil is going to play it on the PS5?

He wants the other version too because 'obviously Kat wants to play it on the PS4'.
So we're begging for game credits for less than purely 'business-related' reasons, it would seem.
Maybe if you can't afford the games, the stupid whorse could put in $20? Since she plans to play it?

Kevin Burnstein sent a superchat commenting that they at least hit the likes goal, "and that's what counts!"
Phil read the first part and thanked everyone for hitting the likes goal, but completely omitted the second half of what Kevin said.

And that's also a good example of why tip messages should be turned back on - Phil manipulates and twists everything he reads.

Sidenote: Just a reminder as we enter into a begging frenzy - Phil gets his paycheck from Youtube on Monday. He can't budget for 5 days before he gets an influx of over $5000.
He's trying to get as much money cash in before then because that interferes with his ability to cry poor.

plays boring ass games, doesn't know why people aren't interested. Use your fucking brain. Have been listening to the whole stream in the background while doing other things and this guy has not talked about any other topic all stream, he just has dead air and talks about the boring game sometime.
He should whip out COD or Fall Guys or something that is more engaging than this.

Edit: he said likes help him out in the long run. So, just like donating money on youtube, liking the stream is part of Phil's Schrodinger's Cat, both grateful and ungrateful for your contributions.

Also, how does liking a stream that you delete immediately afterwards help you in the long run? You suck, DSP.

No doubt this stream will be saved by OIC in the final moments, but after these slow streams phil really has to sit down and reconsider wether these boring night streams are the right course of action. He needs to change something, the games, his commentary, because not even his retard whales are interested in these.

I tried to work it out once. He started 4 new games in that month (about $240) and bought no equipment (received one donated controller). Even with generous assumptions about writing off his "office" and the business internet line, I only got to like $2000 or $3000.

I always assumed he got to $5,000 by including his WWEC pulls.

This current fiasco has highlighted all the issues with his 'business model' when it comes to games.

Dying Light got support, but Phil threatened to retire it because he doesn't like it.
Skyrim isn't getting support, but Phil won't retire it because he likes it, so instead he begs like a madman.
The solution here is to put Skyrim on hold and play the game that gets support, which is what Phil says he does... and yet he isn't.

Phil threatens to drop Pokemon because of low support.
Meanwhile, he is offering a reward that only has value (naming Pokemon) if the playthrough continues, meaning that the incentive is killed by his threats to quit it.
Would support mean the playthrough continues? Well Dying Light just demonstrated that was not the case, so even if you name 10 Pokemon, they'll disappear if Phil abandons the game on a whim.
And Phil gets angry if anyone points out this issue and refuses to make any commitments to his audience.

Phil's practice of holding games hostage to bait tips is starting to become an issue because his audience thinks that has bearing on the games being played. The reality is that they just need to give him money every stream - the tips goal needs to be hit regardless of what they want. Phil can't admit this because he has become obsessed with holding games hostage as a means to bait easy tips as part of his scam. He's in an absolutely retarded cycle that he crafted himself.

He's also currently at 200 likes and getting angry that people keep talking about how great that is. Phil says it'd be great if he could get 'support by other means' because he needs the help.
The wheelies are struggling to read between the lines, it would seem. I only partly blame them because there are a lot of lines.

Gee Phil, it's too bad your YouTube insider wasn't able to give you any information about super thanks eligibility. I'm sure that means Phil exhausted all other possible avenues and there is no information at all anywhere in the entire universe that could possibly explain why Phil isn't eligible for super thanks.

...

This is a screen shot from the very first result when searching "super thanks" on google titled: "Super Thanks eligibility, availability, and policies"

Morhaan.

This isn’t applicable to DSP, he keeps his archived broadcasts private and uploads his own cropped versions of the streams to YouTube, which would be eligible for Super Thanks according to this screenshot.

Edit: Upon further thought, this would be an especially sneaky way to get Super Thanks while using videos that technically do not qualify for them.

Don't mind me. Just autistically patting my own back.
homeboy spent so much energy hyping up Pokemon. You just know he'll tone it down when Dying Light 2 releases.
"Ladies and gentlemen. The REAL hardcore gaming season/brokevember starts now. Pokemon Arceaus came out last week but it was more of the same I hate to it. And people just don't care about that kind of game style any more. But this game is definitely gonna be better"
So instead of Pokemon it was Dying Light 2 getting yeeted in favour of Elden Ring and Sifu.
Why doesn't he just stream it all day? Do the 4 hour premier stream, eat, start the dying light 2 late stream. Its not like he's bogging himself down with new releases yet. And this is the easiest way to get new viewers AND make progress No. Instead we make a retarded schedule that consumes all our time and wastes the viewers.
And btw don't think i don't know where Phil got the all day King of Fighter premier stream idea. Hi DSP. You suck.

trying to critically listen to his voice is just vomit-inducing.

-Vocal inflections with literally every word he speaks (at times)
-Constant belching/snorting/coughing

as someone that loves analyzing the subtle details of audio, trying to listen to DSP is the auditory equivalent of kneeling down next to a sewer stream and eating spoonfuls of its muddy contents. I've been here for years and it still baffles me.

Currently whining about how the DarksydePhil YouTube channel supposedly nets him no money because of copyright music claims.
Even more specifically, he said this is his assumption, and that he doesn't even know if the channel still gets him any income.
Phil laughed about this ignorance. It actually suggests total incompetence when it comes to his business - he is currently begging for the cost to cover one of his basic expenses, a $70 game, and isn't even aware of where his active revenue streams are, or how much they bring in. Maybe if those revenue streams were better managed, expenses would be less of an issue.

But that's assuming we're still LARPing as though this is a real business and not just a scam to siphon money to Scopely, Total Wine, and various DoorDash delivery people.

This is the first DSP clip I've seen since the DDoSing started a few days ago and holy shit his snorts are out of control. Just absolutely grotesque. Did days away from even the 10 second clips of his insanity dull me to his noises or is he particularly disgusting lately?

Someone get him to say "six million more! yes I agree!" but in regards to idk Street Fighter points or something.

There's no way that when he goes to plop out a tweet, there isn't already some template there.

When he isn't shitting out some half-ass opinion about the games industry, or mouth-farting about how good his lavender marriage is, 99% of his remaining tweets can be broken down into some version of this.

I mean, it’s a meme for a reason.

The first game he said that about wound up being a wet fart of a remastered edition that was forced to be patched just so they could sell the physical copies of it. And Phil’s playthroughs were identical in large portions to the first, second, and third times he played those games , in both gameplay and commentary.

Post your favorite “[X] is going to save the channel”. Doesn’t have to be a game.
My favorite is Flight Simulator. Because fucking imagine. In what world was that gonna save his channel. A mongoloid who can't find Portugal on a map, was going to rely on a flight simulator to pull in interest.
