Plagued /vt/ and related vtuber lunacy - Touhou brony console wars

Man, I like hololive more than most, becaue Gura is funny and a good singer. They're entertainers, and they're fucking entertaining, and if some of the entertainment is girlfriend roleplay w/e. It's damn crazy that people are unable to determine real life from the fantasy, though. There absolutely are twitch whores who are cultivating the most parasocial and sociopathic aspects of the relationship, and they should probably be shamed for it - Amouranth comes to mind, but there are way worse examples in her mold. I don't watch Rushia, so maybe she's just as bad... but I would think that being a literal 2d waifu should have been some indication.

In other news, Nyanners just went on Ironmouse's stream to announce that TungstenRat is the most popular female streamer by hours watched. This shit is crazy, yo. It's got the appeal of cute animated drawings to weebs, it's less revealing than facestreaming for the streamers, and you can do some cool weird shit with the models. Still, it seems to equally feed into psycho's delusions. I used to dream of a Stephenson-esque metaverse where we could do many interactions with self-expressive avatars, and in the last year I've come to really really dread it.

This seems like old news I’m sure I heard about her dating this guy before she became a Vtuber. The big problem corporate Vtubers have is they are pretending to be someone they are not with their company owned avatar while sprinkling their real life into the mix. Personally I think they should remain a character and remove their personal life from their job and actively remove fans of their Vtuber personality from following their personal accounts. Cover seem incredibly incompetent at keeping their talent from fucking up like this. I assume everyone working there is under the age of 40.

Man, any company that has a couple dozen employees working a couple dozen hours a week cannot expect 100% of them to adhere to company policy 100% of the time, regardless of the industry or the employees' ages. Slip-ups like this are inevitable. It's human nature. If we have to assign blame, I think 100% of it should go on Rushia's roommate since I'm sure Cover has policies in place against accessing roommate accounts on computers which are logged in under company accounts - but even then it's not an offense warranting a suspension, in my opinion. You tell her to knock it off, give her a warning of more severe consequences if it happens again, and then say nothing to the public and give it a chance to blow over.

This is a tempest in a teakettle, and the proper response is to laugh at those getting really upset about it rather than getting upset yourself.

The drama was crystallized autism.
No shit, is just a bunch of fags overreacting that she may be in a relationship, but then again, one could also make the argument this was started because of Rushia's lack of responsibility when it came to making sure none of this would happen.

In other news. Rushia tweeted this but quickly deleted it.

Only true by technicality. Hololive English Gen 1 did a convention tour in the last year where they had live Q & A sessions with their fans (conducted, I assume, by the Gen 1 girls having a live video feed of both the audience and the question panel), so the vtubers did, in fact, have to see their fans in person. Sort of.

Companies may start cutting out the middleman entirely soon. You already have Virtual Influencers. What if they tie it to a bot and some voice software?

Lil Miquela
The most famous example of the virtual influencer is Lil Miquela, who debuted on Instagram in April 2016, as if from nowhere. Of course, no arguably useless technological innovation actually comes from nowhere, and she was no exception. After months of speculation in Instagram comments and on news sites — with theories ranging from “Sims marketing stunt” to “horrifying social experiment” — the secret was revealed and was shockingly mundane: Yeah, it’s advertising.

In January, TechCrunch reported that Lil Miquela’s creators had closed a $125 million investment round led by Spark Capital. Suddenly, virtual influencers were the future of ads. The future of fashion. The future of commerce.

Isn't that already becoming more or less the case with certain vtubers? And the whole deal with Hatsune Miku at that.

Isn't that already becoming more or less the case with certain vtubers? And the whole deal with Hatsune Miku at that.
Difference between Miku and vtubers is one is a 100% fictional character and another is an actor LARPing as a fictional character.
There's more freedom for fictional characters because anyone can do whatever the fuck they want with them. Some degenerate can draw Miku having dick shitting nipples, another can be a woke man who draws Miku fat and black, then a normal person can just draw Miku being Miku. There's no definitive strict guideline on what makes Miku, Miku other than her recognizability in media (appearance and voice)- and it calls for more creative freedom. If you want to get to the business side, it's for the most part, a brand character like Mickey mouse. But there's a whole shtick of composers in the vocaloid sphere.
But what I'm trying to summarize is that purely fictional characters have more freedom and its less likely a fan will sperg out if Miku is drawn dating some other robot man.

Commercial v-tubers on the other hand are just idols marionetted by fat chicks or men. They're part of idol culture which is already summarized by other posters here (or just watch Perfect Blue). Its more focused on internet personality type content- even smaller v-tubers who only do their thing for fun aren't really fictional characters but just avatars moved around by the video maker. There's more restriction because even under the animu avatar, its fully controlled by someone and they're humans so they're not always going to be "perfect" in re-enacting their avatars.
Think of it this way: when someone is making a story, they have a lot of time and discussions on what makes characters do specific actions. There's more time and planning. Meanwhile, v-tubers have to do most things on-the-spot with less time to plan out how they'll react.
This is just a guess- but I'm willing to bet that people behind their avatars get more uncomfortable when they see their avatar getting railed by a donkey dick. Because they feel more of an attachment than anyone else towards their avatar because they themselves are the ones controlling the character. Meanwhile 90% of authors/artists/voice actors don't really feel that much when they see their characters getting railed in an unorthodox fashion- because the effort made in creating the character was team-based and there's less connection because its a full on fictional character.

I probably got some of the v-tube shit wrong but what I wanted to mainly point out is that fictional characters have more leeway than v-tubers, so it feels less nefarious when corporations do corporate things. Even if Starwars got raped by Disney, they can easily fall back on the old material and do their fanbase shenanigans with it.

Hello there. Long-time lurker and first-time poster. And today I bring you lunacy. Never thought I'd encounter something like this. And God I hope this one is the last.

I was supposed to post this some days ago but internet problems and the site getting DDoSed made some delays.

Synopsis:

Otohime Saki AKA Philippe Ivan Parero is a "non-binary" male Philippine Vtuber who is a groomer, alleged pedophile, and quite possibly a sociopath who has since gone into indefinite hiatus starting from February 2, 2022. It is worth noting that the day he went into hiatus was a day after Cait made a callout post on Twitter, which was posted on February 1, 2022. On the same day of announcing an indefinite hiatus, he posted an apology letter. In this letter he "sincerely" apologizes for his years of atrocities. If anything, this letter only serves to highlight one of his patterns of behaviors: the absence of taking full responsibilities for every incident he has caused. I do not think he even apologized to his victims individually nor truly reflected and evaluated his past actions. But I suppose that is already expected from a lowlife scumbag like Ivan.

Philippe Ivan Parero is a cosplayer, photographer, and of course an online gamer. Apparently Ivan is employed as a software engineer at Uber based in Calabarzon, Philippines and has been employed for 2 years and 9 months. Ivan should be aged 28 this year.

Ivan has had multiple relationships in the past, with none ending well. Cait is one of his exes and has already done multiple callout posts on both Facebook and Twitter. Cait also holds the receipts of Ivan's victims.
Apparently Otohime Saki was accepted as a talent of a new Vtuber group called HoneyShine Rising on January 28, 2022. When Cait's callout post on Twitter was posted, HoneyShine Rising posted an announcement on Twitter about cutting affiliation with an upcoming member, who is most likely Otohime Saki. The announcement was posted on February 1, 2022.

Because Ivan is involved in cosplaying/anime communities, it also gives him an ideal hunting grounds for young and naive prey. Most of his victims were teenagers who were most likely naive and unaware of his true nature and intents during the times they were acquainted with him. Some of his victims seem to be adults too. Ivan is a known two-timer and would even attempt to flirt with people who were already in a relationship. Ivan is known to stab others in the back whenever his ruse has been found out. Ivan never claims responsibilities for his actions and always shifts the blame to his victims. Ivan is abysmally depraved to the point of asking minors to take off their tops just to get off of it and sexually assaulting victims to his advantage. Ivan is also known to send unsolicited dick pics. Even in email. Truly worthy of the award for "scum of the Earth".

Overall, Otohime Saki AKA Philippe Ivan Parero is a lowlife scumbag predator who should never be allowed to see the light of day ever again.

And multiple unnamed/unidentified victims

- Manipulative
- Opportunistic
- Often has egotistical tendencies
- Possibly a sociopath
- Maintains a friendly facade until a victim has been lulled into a false sense of security
- Has no regard for personal boundaries
- Does not and will not claim responsibilities for past actions
- Will shift blame on victims once his ruse has been found out
- Consistent freeloader
- Often displays depravity and engages in sexually charged conversation under the guise of roleplaying

- Grooming children under vulnerable ages (from pre-teen years to teenage years).
- Sexually assaulting multiple victims in his own home while taking advantage of them.
- Has had multiple (sexual) relationships with people with whom he took advantage of.

Receipts of Victim #1 were posted on April 17, 2020 on Cait's FB account. Victim was about 13-14 years old at the time of the grooming incidents. Occured two times. Grooming incidents occured somewhere between 2014-2015. Initial contact initiated via roleplaying. Victim was ordered to take off her top on video chat and Ivan jerked away. Ivan should be aware of the victim's age considering the victim is open about her age.

Receipts of Victim #2 were also posted on April 17, 2020 on Cait's FB Account. Victim is a married woman. Victim is also a cosplayer who planned to do gravure via Patreon. Ivan was chasing some other girl during the time of the incident. Ivan was horny. Has no regards for personal boundaries.

Receipts of Victim #3 were also posted on April 17, 2020 on Cait's FB Account. Ivan hooked up with victim behind Cait's back. Victim was sexually coerced. Victim mentioned that Ivan has a cringeworthy personality. Cait mentions that she'd been in bed with Ivan when they were still together.

Receipts of Victim #4 were also posted on April 17, 2020. Victim initiated contact with Ivan via roleplaying. Chat messages are overall cringe and disgustingly stomach-twisting.

Receipts of Victim #5 were also posted on April 17, 2020. Same account. Usual deal. Cait mentions that Ivan admitted to storing nudes of his exes on a hard drive. Victim mentions that Ivan has a nature of sharing the nudes with his friends. Victim mentions of Ivan having hidden a webcam somewhere that is hooked up to his PC, most likely for the purpose of voyeurism. Victim also mentioned of Ivan having shown a video recording or photo of his ex while the victim was making a video.

Receipts of Victim #6 were posted on April 17, 2020. Victim was a "friend" of Ivan when the victim was still new to the cosplaying community. Usual modus operandi observed from Ivan. Victim mentions of having exchanged nudes with Ivan back in 2010-2013 in email. Disgusting. Boyfriend of victim got into contact with Cait. The boyfriend is pissed. The boyfriend is intuitive and has smarts.

Receipts of Victim #7 were posted on April 17, 2020. Victim was an old friend of Ivan but has cut ties with him a long time ago, most likely after hearing of such incidents. Victim mentions of Ivan having attempted rape on another girl by dragging her to a dark place on 2013.

Receipts of Victim #8 were posted on April 17, 2020. Victim met Ivan around 2012 while victim was still new to cosplaying. Victim was invited to a date. Ivan invited and brought the victim to his home. Ivan was most likely planning on sexual assault.

Receipts of Victim #9 were posted on April 17, 2020. Victim was most likely a minor the time the victim met with Ivan. Victim mentioned of Ivan having some sort of mental illness. I'd say it's a fucking pathetic excuse.

Receipts of Victim #10 were posted on April 17, 2020. Ivan commenced usual modus operandi once he finds out the victim posted sexy stuff. Ivan says he's had multiple abusive and bad relationships, most likely a ploy to garner sympathy. Ivan also mentions that he's been trough some sexual abuse, another pitiful ploy to garner sympathy and to pathetically explain his "open-mindedness" about sexual topics. Victim mentions of Ivan making a move on the victim after having recently ended a relationship. Overall, it looked like Ivan was trying to garner lots of sadboy points.

Receipts of Victim #11 were posted on April 17, 2020. Ivan found victim on 2018 when victim was cosplaying. Victim was aware of the dumbass having a relationship while said dumbass was going with the usual modus operandi. Ivan was an attention whore. Victim eventually developed a relationship while Ivan was trying to stay relevant.

Receipts of Victim #12 were posted on April 17, 2020. Victim was one of Ivan's exes. Victim was about 17-18 years old during their relationship. Victim met with Ivan in a roleplaying group. Victim was groomed and was asked to get naked every time they had a video chat, was almost caught by his brother. When the victim was found out by their sister, the victim and Ivan broke up only to be betrayed and got talked shit behind the victim's back. Victim mentions of Ivan having wanted to get head in public while they were on a date with the victim who was also cosplaying at the time. The depravity of this scumbag knows no bounds.

Receipts of Victim #13 were posted on April 17, 2020. Victim appears to be someone's girlfriend. The person talking to Cait is the boyfriend. Nothing much significant, except Ivan's usual modus operandi. Ivan should be aware that the girl he is talking to is already with someone else. Talk about a pathetic attempt at NTR.

Receipts of Victim #14 were posted on April 17, 2020. Unsurprisingly, Ivan targets a 19-year-old girl who was pretty much an ideal lewd e-girl. Chat messages were dated May 2017.

Receipts of Victim #15 were posted on April 18, 2020. Victim dated Ivan on 2012-2013 but never became official. Ivan targets the victim who was naive and was new to the community. Victim was 19 years old at the time. Victim was invited to Ivan's home where Ivan suddenly kissed the girl. Victim tried to be sympathetic towards Ivan but because Ivan was a freeloading piece of shit, it never worked out. Victim mentions of Ivan's egotistical tendencies. When victim broke up with Ivan, bastard shed crocodile tears then talked shit behind the victim's back when the victim was already with a better man. Cope and seethe scumbag.

Receipts of Victim #16 were posted on April 18, 2020. Ivan was unusually self-aware according to the victim's statements, to quote: "he doesn't want to be in a relationship with people younger than him because it always gets him into trouble". Ivan has invited the victim multiple times to his home. It all started with getting frisky until Ivan would forcibly attempt sexual contact. Like rubbing his dick on the victim. At this point it is clear that this lowlife should be revoked of his rights to feel sexual pleasure by chemical castration and the complete removal of his reproductive organs. Victim mentions of Ivan being a vape user and resented him for the times he would vape in front of the victim because the victim has a heart condition that could be triggered with nicotine-laced smoke. Ivan was aware of this. Victim mentions of a friend opening up about Ivan during their time on Cosmatsuri 2019. While Ivan was kissing the victim, without utter regards to personal boundaries and with the presence of the victim's friends, Ivan was staring directly at the friend while doing the act. The creepiness level of this bastard just went up the roof. Victim is regretful, an unfortunately common pattern among all these receipts before this point and from this point forward.

Receipts of Victim #17 were posted on April 18, 2020. Jesus fucking christ this lowlife scumbag just went berserk on a mere 16-year-old girl who was just trying to find the truth. It all started with the victim asking why a person named "Pasia" suddenly disappeared from the chat (most likely a group chat). The victim must've known the truth after the convsersation by talking with Pasia. Pasia was most likely a former friend of Ivan who knew the truth and was framed by Ivan to get the heat off of himself. Shit goes from 0-100 from that point. Victim was unfazed. The messages presented here are the first recorded accounts of Ivan putting the blame on others for his own actions. What a pathetic scumbag.

Receipts of Victim #18 were posted on April 19, 2020. Victim mentions of the time Ivan took advantage of the victim. The victim was tired and sleepy and Ivan offered to let the victim sleep on one of the beds. Victim wakes up to find that Ivan has his arms wrapped around the victim with his dick poking the victim's behind. The incident occured even before Ivan had a relationship with Cait. It is worth noting that the victim already knew Ivan for about 2 years which is why the victim took up the offer.

Receipts of Victim #19 were posted on April 20, 2020. Victim was a girl who was taken advantage of by Ivan. The victim had bad relationships with her family and was looking for an escape. Usual modus operandi observed. It's getting tiring.

Receipts of Victim #20 were posted on April 20, 2020. Victim was a 12-year-old girl. Jesus christ. Messages shown in these receipts (by the victim) were dated February 2020. Ivan was 26 at this time. Talk about a mid-life crisis gone depraved.

Receipts of Victim #21 were posted on April 20, 2020. Nothing of significant note. Just the usual. The victim was able to get away before Ivan showed his true side.

Receipts of Victim #22 were posted on April 20, 2020. Victim was 18. They met in a convention. Victim was a cosplayer. Usual modus operandi observed. Just Ivan being a creep as usual.

There are no receipts for Victim #23. Even though the last number is 24. Maybe it was just a mistake or maybe I missed something.

Receipts of Victim #24 were posted on February 6, 2022. Victim met Ivan in a Discord server. Victim was a minor, 14 years of age. Just Ivan being a creep in general. Hopefully this will be last victim of this depraved, lowlife scumbag.

Ivan is a vape user. The image on the left is a screenshot from his Discord server. The image on the right is a snippet from one of the victim's statements.

Translation: "He even knew that I have a heart disease. But he's vaping in front of me! He even defended himself because 'it's not going to affect me' when all types of smoke laced with nicotine can trigger my heart condition. I said all of it but it seemed like a joke to him. Fuck him."

Even though I'm a native Flip my Tagalog is quite rusty so pardon me in advance if the translation seems funny.

An old screenshot. Notice the bio.

note 3.png

Otohime's announce of being accepted as an upcoming talent for HoneyShine Rising. A couple of days after, Cait made the callout post on Twitter. Not long after, HoneyShine Rising cut affiliation with this upcoming talent. Talk about a quick rise and fall.

note 5.png

Ivan doing work in some company while being a Vtuber. I suppose this guy works in customer support even though he's a software engineer. Career mismatches are pretty much common in this hellhole of a country. These were old messages way back in 2020. So maybe he's still employed to this day.

note 6.pngnote 6a.png

I was probably a bit sloppy with some parts here so yeah... That's all there is to it. It's fucking strange how this guy hasn't even been arrested yet. With the amount of receipts Cait has, I suppose it would already be enough to warrant an investigation from the NBI (our National Bureau of Investigation). But no he's still alive and kicking. His Discord server is pretty much dead and he posts random tweets every now and then. His latest Discord status says he's undergoing therapy. And I sure do hope he is. But if he's just faking it, which is most likely the case, it won't be any surprise. I'll keep an eye out if anything else comes up.

EDIT: I fucking forgot to upload the archives of receipts.

Cover has now released an official statement regarding Uruha Rushia.

Here's the archive which happens to be fucked but I at least want to put it here so that its existence is somewhat substantiated.

Update: An extension to the drama, in Hong Kong, there was a Rushia-themed bus which has been vandalized. Whether it was intentional or not, is up to your interpretation, however given the recent circumstances, it seems more plausible that it was intentional rather than accidental.

Give me a quick tl:dr on this shit, did one of the vtrannies get exposed as a male again?

This is a great video on the Coco situation and it needs more likes. Lots of shit I didn't know about.
I want to surface this well-made video from the main thread. It covers the "Taiwan Incident" in Hololive and its fallout effects so far. It's a bit tl;dw so here's the basics just in case you have an interest in vtubing but aren't caught up on this story: After two Hololive JP members, Akai "Haachama" Haato and Kiryu Coco, mentioned Taiwan when discussing their channels' statistics, Chinese nationalists kicked up a storm in protest, and their obnoxious spamming and other behavior turned off a lot of fans from the rest of the world. After a couple waffling press releases from Cover that didn't make either side happy, they ultimately decided to kill off their Chinese branch, and soon after it became apparent some of their Chinese members were complacent in the harassment. Due to the managerial incompetence and/or the continuing harassment from antis (depending on who you ask), Kiryu Coco, the planet's most financially successful vtuber at the time, ultimately "graduated" from Hololive, though she has gone on to be successful as an indie semi-vtuber, semi-fleshtuber.
