These truckers have been thanking them for their service, shaking their hands, offering them coffee and whatever, making sure they weren't causing too much trouble for the cops. Only the most sociopathic state automatons could turn around and arrest these dudes at this point.
I know people meme about "we need good cops to stay in the force" but the ""good cops"" don't do shit. For the past 2 years they let the ""bad cops"" arrest pastors, fine kids for having birthday parties, fine people for not wearing masks... I could go on and on.

Unfortunately if they really do abolish the popo we'll just get even worse bootlickers, like the UN peacekeepers. Or just straight up robots I guess lol

You do know that all of those "communist" countries had to adopt free market reforms (which libertarians predicted) because communism doesn't work in reality right? Except for North Korea, but they get free money from china.
Libertarianism is small because it does not benefit the elites. The libertarian party gets no big donations from millionaires. The only libertarian issues that get support are the legalization of drugs and same sex marriage. Things like ending the fed are forgotten about completely by the libertarian party.
Also how do you know that libertarianism is a failure if it has never been tried by that logic? If there are no libertarian nations then IMO that means people should give it a chance.
Some people bring up Somalia and say that a stateless society would end up like that. But Somalia is the way it is because of the collapse of a communist dictatorship. And if you look at the stats it has gotten better since the commie days.

It specifically exempts Indian Act Indians from the scope of the emergency.

What this means is that Canada, currently under this emergency, is operating as an apartheid state, not dissimilar to Rhodesia or South Africa did but with Indians on top. They have more rights than you.

This matters right now because there was just a proper and actual terrorist attack in BC where the racial makeup of the attackers is left as an exercise to the reader.


But things get spicier still. If natives are exempted from the scope of this act, then how do the police make the correct judgement on who to arrest? Do they do it by visual appearance? Obviously they cannot, as there exists a great many of Indian Act Indians that are "one drop" and look whiter than JT. It's also cold and snowy as fuck so everybody is covered up. Can they demand your status card? It's possible I guess, but that's just another mark against Canada as a third world "papers please" country. You might actually have a slam dunk civil rights discrimination case as you can allege that those arresting you racistly assumed you were not native, and if they made no effort to ask they would be fucked.

The emergency also exempts anybody who seeks to enter Canada and claim refugee status.

The best course of action for any protester is to claim they are a native that has status but isn't a citizen and seeks to enter Canada as a refugee and the cops can't touch you I guess.

It's also worth commenting that if those that enter illegally into Canada and are seeking refugee status are allowed to protest then non-citizens have more rights than actual Canadians.

Yes, really.

The Canadian government’s Emergency Measures Regulations: SOR/2022-21 order bans people from taking part “in a public assembly that may reasonably be expected to lead to a breach of the peace.”

However, the law does not apply to “any person in a class of persons whose presence in Canada, as determined by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration or the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, is in the national interest.”

This includes Indians, refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers and ‘protected temporary residents’.

The exemptions have left some people asking if the prohibition order only applies to white people.

“Why are members of First Nations, refugees and temporary residents exempted from the prohibition to ‘participate in a public assembly that may reasonably be expected to lead to a breach of the peace’ as part of the Emergencies Act regulations?” People’s Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier tweeted.

It appears as though the Canadian government views native Canadians as second class citizens who should have fewer rights than foreigners.

How can such brazen discrimination based on skin color and nationality be in any way legal?

Anyone who believes they'd fight back against the Third Reich if they were born in WW2 era Germany needs to talk to these people who want the police to arrest these protestors.

It's still astonishing talking to people who don't understand how dystopian it is that they're building checkpoints and not letting anyone into parts of the city without "a good reason."

If the number of people outpaces the number of souls, there are literally hundreds of millions or billions of soulless people (NPCs) roaming the Earth. These people are thought to be the test for those with souls, to determine purity and access to the afterlife and all that hot garbage.
