Incredibly transphobic of Ms. Contrapoints to refer to Abigail Thorn as a "man" throughout this video. I am very saddened and deeply disappointed to see that my favorite trans youtuber (sorry Abigail) could violently misgender another trans woman in such a way. Just because Abigail mistakenly thought she was a man back then does NOT make it okay for her to refer to her as a man now that she has realized that she is a woman. I will now be canceling my $20 per month Patreon subscription to Contrapoints and I will be writing a callout post on my Twitter account. I cannot believe that Natalie would spread TERF rhetoric like this, especially since she knows firsthand how much harm it causes to women like her and Abigail. I hope Ms. Thorn is okay after this.

As @Real Gay Autist observed, The Plague is about social responsibility. The UK is pretty much restriction free now, with the government set to scrap any requirement to self isolate and stop providing covid tests for free. They're probably not even going to offer a fourth jab to anyone other than the Clinically Extremely Vulnerable and there's no vaccine mandates. They're even pushing people to stop working from home.

I didn't watch it, I skimmed small parts of the transcript but it was too boring. Contra's discussion on his past relationships starts around 30 minutes in I think. I might go through that section later to clip it and post it in the Contra thread but no promises.

you should give it a try anyway. i pretty much only watch tv or movies when i’m sick, which i was recently, so i laid down to watch the first episode of Fleabag not thinking it was gonna be much- just light entertainment to distract me while convalescent lol. but i was completely unable to stop myself and finished the whole show in one sitting. it’s not my usual genre at all and i almost never binge tv but it was so good. episodes are only 20 minutes long with the entire show being about 5 hours so if you don’t like it it’s not too much wasted time

I've come to the conclusion that Contrapoints is exceptionally trashy and spiteful about her personal life, she seems to really, really hold grudges against people and try and undermine them in very cutting ways with her platform by dropping ugly details in public with just enough plausible deniability to obscure who she's actually talking about so that nobody can say anything about it out in the open. Like she constantly shit talks previous exes, relationships, friends and associates where most people vaguely aware of her history can probably figure out who she's talking about. Her worst one was the Tiffany Tumbles video where it was really obvious she was setting out to try and denigrate and humiliate Blaire White for having beaten her in a debate like a year previously, and the video had no reason to exist beyond that. She's given a treatment like this to Theryn Meyer, the mystery high profile leftist she says sexually assaulted her and of course our boy Olly.
