I'm watching the same stream and heard that rumor as well. I'm hoping that it's just a rumor and that the people trampled are okay but who knows. The Ottawa Police did put out this tweet:

The gore threads of people getting hit by cars/trucks here come to mind.

A Cop murdered an unarmed woman in cold blood on 1-6 and nobody gave one red fuck, including people here on this site who continue to insist that A bunch of Boomers staying in the ropes were somehow "dangerous"

The media gets to throw out big numbers of arrested protesters, arrested protestors are removed from the scene and may think twice about coming back to be trampled by horses and beaten by cops, and the cops get to not be fired for insubordination. Ottawa's jails and court system can't hold or process this many people anyway.
They should throw fake snakes at the horses. Hopefully one of these cops gets clocked in the head by a frantic hoof.
I just want to see media in US and Canada try to spin dronestriking a guy unloading groceries as them killing an ISIS strike team like they have many times. Haji's do shit like work certain jobs to make targeting them hard, but over the years I've basically accepted that the people in charge do not want to even entertain the idea of punishment for their actions. It's not justice tempered by mercy, but unequal enforcement of the law, like when some CCP officials son runs over some preschoolers in his super car. It's not them being white, it's them being born to certain people in a certain class.
That's a strange tactic to apply to the honkening. Let's see if it pays off for them.

I mean it makes sense if foreign countries can destroy people's alliances with exceptional behavior. Worried about China and the west why not Russia offer a third position. There is always elites who hate other elites and are more then happy to start funding, financing, and hurting their geo political rivals for gain. Human rights is really a crock of shit some bugman uses to feel just in bombing brown people. Foreign and financial pressure is always more damaging.
