Good gambit really, after that huge fucking meltdown in the states where those niggas were being chased by dudes on horses on the USA/Mexican border and nonstop media coverage kept saying "ALL HORSE USE IS BAD! HORSE = BAD!" over and over legit just a short time ago. I'm starting everyone who works in journalism has no sense of memory.

Are they Ottowa PD? It's a very common tactic for regimes to bring in enforcers from other places - it's why the EU wants an EU army, so they can have Polish troops pacify unrest in Spain as German troops take care of Italy

It's worth mentioning the Vancouver PD sent some officers to assist at Ottawa. It was in the local news.

It's this exactly. The Hero's Journey doesn't start with the son of a famous emperor learning at all the best institutions and putting that knowledge to use in conquering new lands. It starts with a fucking nobody standing up to oppressive forces and eventually prevailing against terrible odds. If they admit that they have any sort of power at all, they can no longer think of themselves as the hero in their own story. Their massive narcissism will never allow that admission to take place. They must be the plucky underdogs who eventually win by superior intellect/guile/will/etc.
