Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

They make it sound like they are literally using them as shields. Pics or it didn't fucking happen. Plus, for the record, I have not seen a single child on any of the streams where police clash with protestors.
To be fair, I have seen a couple kids, but they're nowhere near the front.

An average Redditor gives their opinion.

This coming from people that rioted for like 4 months straight after a random dude died lol

Was doing some thinking over breakfast.

First, this thing is having and will have lasting bad effects on Canadian people and Canadian society. These effects will be made worse since up until now, unless I'm wrong, the vast majority of Canadians have felt a part of the country. "We're all in this together."

People now know nothing could be further from the truth. They have seen Trudeau, his regime's, the police's, and the military's utter disdain for peaceful protesters asking only redress for legitimate grievances. They have seen those in power trample people's rights, and in a few cases, bodies, with steel-toed boots. There are likely to be deep divisions between people who supported the truckers and those who supported the regime. These divisions will play out more and more as time goes by, much like the divisions between the leftists/Communists and everyone else in the USA.

A certain amount of buy-in by enough people is needed to make ANY country function. That's true even in Cuba, China, or North Korea. True here in the USA. What's being lost here is a total-loss of buy-in by a certain number of Canadians, and a partial loss of buy-in by many more, with those who are still fully-bought in an object of ridicule/derision.

In short, Canada as a nation, and as a concept, has been badly damaged, with even more damage to come. No, the country won't collapse, thanks to the average Joe/Jane/Hector/Yves who actually makes Canada go. But what made Canada Canada, that feeling of being special, that feeling of being not the USA, is largely gone. The smart Canadians now realize things in Ottawa are just as fucked up as they are in Washington, and they don't even have the inalienable rights Americans have. They know they are even worse off than those people down south.

The fix is obvious to many - Trudeau and his regime resigns, all Chinese Flu-related oppressive measures immediately ended. But that fix is some time off. In the meantime, the Canadian national level of anger will only grow, and could be expressed in increasingly radical ways.

I'm not sure a nation is a concept. It is more of a shared bloodline, but I guess that does not really work in North America.

This is something any of us can do anywhere. Shunning sounds like faggy shit, but it works. It’s not violent, so muh optics for the retards who still believe in that.

Make being a pig, antifa, journalist, or other undesirable completely socially unacceptable in your circles. Their friends, their family, supporters, and enablers also get nothing.

When possible, loudly identify them for everyone around to hear, but do not otherwise harass them or interact with them.

Refuse to buy, sell, speak to, or otherwise do business with them for as long as you can get away with it.

The law may try to intervene to make you “bake the cake bigot” or stop the “verbal harassment.” But as we just saw in Ottowa, there are a lot more of us than there are of them, and cops can`t be everywhere. And feel free to lie, these scum aren`t people and are not due the consideration you would give to an ordinary human.
Agreed. Social shaming works in many ways, and has throughout time. That is what happened to Oswald Mosley: he went from being a social butterfly and maker to a social pariah after the war. No one knows who he is now. They remember Enoch Powell, because Powell was socially ostracized but was steadfast in what he knew was right.

Pigs don't have that. And Canadians, unlike Europeans who WILL shove cops down stairs (based Belgians), Canadians do not have a tie to their land or something to fight for. So when we beg, we mean it. We don't know what to do.
The only issue with shunning is that it marks you as well as them. If that's not viable, then you can shun them in other ways.

You could agree to whatever they say and respond as if you're going to be neighborly to them, then just not help them with anything while extracting as much as you can. Example from my own life is that a former friend walked out of my life owing me several thousand dollars, then several years later wanted me to drive him to a venue in a city the next state over. I agreed to do so, and drove him over there. He crashed at a girl's house and I got up in the middle of the night to get something to eat, then left but not before cutting the lock off the trailer with all his sound gear. He lost thousands of dollars worth of gear, and his trailer, but he learned a valuable lesson: don't fuck with someone and then ask them for a favor.

Deceive your enemies to let you into their homes, and then fuck with shit when they leave you alone. Upper deckers are a good way to start, but if you turn the heat off while they're gone (or the power goes out) for a few days in Winter then their pipes will burst and could cause enough damage to result in a total loss.

The attitude of shunning - hostility - is great, but the results don't have to be that simple.

I knew this was going to happen. And the sickening this is, a good chunk of libtards here want that to happen.
This isn't WWII with Nazis folks...think of it more like the Civil War. Confederates vs Lincolnites. THAT shame lasted even longer: if you are a traitor to your own nation, that burns through generations. Nazis had at least a scapegoat: Jews.

Quebec has the benefit of its French separatism. The French have experience with fighting cops and Feds. Though they too can fold, see Generation Identitaire being wiped out by government directive.
The lesson to learn is the same as that of the 1/6 boomers: if you confront power, don't lose.

A lot of what people here call dooming is just tired people venting their fears and frustrations, which is necessary sometimes. They're not at the convoy messing with the vibe, they're in a forum thread. People should chill out about doomers.
Also, the doom could just be the next thing that happens. Lots of ways things could go horribly wrong.
I stumbled across another angle of the horse trampling yesterday, I'm pretty sure it wasn't posted but if it was ¯\_(ツ)_/¯:

I think the reason why some streams look empty is because the protesters have been corralled to different areas. Here's a crowded pocket:

Give an inch, they take a mile. All that’s left is a monument to Trudeau’s glory where he can claim victory. Convoys are already being rendered toothless.
I know that a lot of people want there to be a big set piece decisive battle where Captain Planet and Voldemort charge at each other across an open field without taking cover, maneuvering, using indirect fire, or displaying any sort of tactics or strategy whatsoever, but that's not how things work in real life.

In real life, if you and your buddies just happen to get in a bar fight with a bunch of antifa goons and cripple them for life while avoiding being identified, then those antifa goons will never go on to staff a non-profit. They'll never block traffic and shoot a retarded boomer that screams at them because he's late for work. They'll probably never reproduce. They'll be a drain on other antifa orgs for life, as well as their likely left wing parents.

Every single little thing helps. Even if it's just non-violent skirmishing and harassment in enemy territory, that's $800 for a new set of tires and several weeks of lost work. That's more than enough to ruin someone's year, and occasionally their decade if they are divorced.

The rules do not apply to your enemies unless they can make them apply. They want you dead, therefore any and all crimes are not just permitted, but approved. Break up their families, ruin their relationships, break their property, and don't get caught doing it. That's skirmishing; take the little tactical victories where you can to distract them, and once their attention is focused in one place go somewhere else and do it again. Vary your methods so they don't notice patterns.

This is how leaderless non-violent resistance works.
And apparently it’s how you wanted fights against Antifa to go in 2020 once cops and DAs failed you.
One of the most frustrating parts of the 2020 riots was how quickly the average citizen threw up their hands and declared that they were helpless.
You know, when people realize they have something to lose if things go belly up, most people aren’t gung ho or willing to take people down with them.
Justin wins and the truckers are now lepers, but at least they won the heckin optics!

Don't bother protesting if you're just going to stand around and eventually get bullied into leaving with nothing changing. In fact I wouldn't be shocked if thid doesn't crank the draconian practices up to 11.
Again, people don’t understand the concept of “Victory or Death”. Now we wait to see if there are suicides to avoid the legal shit.

They all look miserable. And well, they may be, but they haven't walked off the job so this is their choice. But the ultimate problem is that cops are not imaginative people. "I don't wanna do this, but I gotta feed my family..." is probably the most common thought among them. Imo if the protesters told them "quit and find a new job" instead of "cross the line and join us" a good number of them would think about it seriously.
So much for Blue Flu, huh?

I guess there was another police presser, and HOLY fuck it's somehow worse than yesterday's

"police have a vital role in our democracy"
The mental gymnastic doublespeak here is astounding. Protests are the language of the unheard, but only if they're democratically sanctioned, and in the case we disagree with you then we deem your protest a threat to our democracy. Defund the police, but they also are vital so don't actually defund them.

So if grandma "collided with" the horse and "got back up and continued to engage" where is the footage? Where is she now?
edit: also the audacity of claiming the photos were photoshopped 🎩

muh misinformation

lie after lie after lie after lie
"Muh Democracy." "Muh Misinformation."

I don't know who it was, but there was one poster who said the Western world leadership is now a schizo-funhouse mirror version of the last days of the Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc. No one can have any kind of accountability, or actual justification for their actions. All they have are empty platitudes about how their rule is right, justified, and necessary because we're in danger from disruptive foreign enemies. No, don't ask who, where, or how, or any kind of actual proof - if you are, that means you're helping them undermine our society!

A parliament member asked who in the cabinet is on board with the WEF. Immediately gets cut by the speaker for "bad audio." The audio wasn't even that shitty you can hear the guy just fine.
Gotta love how sneaky he was about it. Pretends to entertain the question, looks like he's going to encourage him to repeat himself and then gets conveniently distracted.

Archive isn’t working right now on my end, but Trudeau is getting ratio’d hard on Twitter right now.

Link to thread in question
I was going to archive it again but jesus christ

The tweets themselves have been archived already so here is just a snapshot with the current numbers.

Just as the past couple of years have been hard on us, it has been hard for a lot of cops too. Some are assholes, some are not. I think they know this has gone south and they have to make a choice that will affect not only them but their families as well. I think many will quit and even join if this goes on long enough, so keep that in mind.

People leaving because "folks might get hurt" is a bad move. Everyone should have known that was a real possibility given Fidel Trudeau's actions.

Don't care. If you wanna participate in the thread, read it.
If you're referring to him reposting something, that's just normal for a fast thread like this. If you're referring to that being from a few years back, I don't see how that's relevant, particularly seeing as how the Canadian government is still doing shit like berating other countries' "anti-freedom" actions while doing this sort of thing. They were sperging out about Myanmar overthrowing its shartmartcracy just a few days ago.
