her outfit was based off of this song, which was a submission for the vocamerica song contest. the instrumental is admittedly solid but her tuning hurts to listen to, because she's an operatic voicebank being forced to sing poppy jazz and it does not work at all. does no one in this fucking fandom know how to handle a chest voice?

the last of the vocamerica models have finally been finished and it only took half a decade after the project was launched. i'll post a screencap of big al's model after i get home from work.

Friends, at long last, our golden boy has arrived!
Heeyeon finished Big-Al last night and sent him to me, and I've now DMed his link to all of you who pledged to receive him.
And, with the completion of Big-Al, I can now officially say that all of the production for this project (with the exception of the animations for the new characters which will come later this month) have been completed! At long last we have out ENTIRE TEAM!
I want to thank those of you who have been so patient waiting for all the characters to be completed. And I want to thank you all for your continued support. I hope you will enjoy these last few new models and I hope you will join me in thanking Heeyeon for his AMAZING work in getting Prima, Tonio, Sonika, and Big-Al completed for us at long last.
So what comes next? Well, our 5th anniversary show of course!
Now, due to my new full time job and the hours associated with it, the 5th year show may not fall exactly on the day of our actual anniversary. But, I'll make the announcement on here for the show, and I'll keep you all posted.
Until then, please enjoy these final models, and thank you ALL for your patience, kindness, and good vibes.

i honestly forget if this has been posted so i'm reposting for clarification's sake, but supposedly this is why the models are so shitty, 2k for all of these models alone. (https://archive.is/YJ6fL) meanwhile i've seen higher quality vtuber models go into the 2k mark for each individual model. it's no wonder we're getting the quality we're getting for that price.

when she was on twitter ghost got into some pretty dumb shit, listed here for convenience (granted, this is all from her now-inactive twitter so take everything with a grain of salt) -
- got shit on because she allowed people to horny roleplay with her characters that are adults
- she called out fellow vocap steampianist for being a supposed shotacon and owning a nazi costume
- claims to have DID, blames it on all her problems because of course
- used said DID to actually roleplay as her OCs, i kid you not
- got called out for her song candle queen depicting a person with npd supposedly
the last drama she got in was with some twitter user that i vaguely remember called her out for calling steampianist out but i dunno what happened there because the initial callout was deleted. there's some receipts for these in the lolcow thread #3, but beyond that i don't think most of these are archived

Yeah, she also spazzed out on me back when I was a minor and got her fanbase to spam me, then deleted her twitter like a year later. This is nothing new for her, but her and her friends tend to harass and lie about kids then act innocent. Monstrosity also did that when I was 17, because I made fun of some chick for using she/they pronouns, getting her fanbase to shank me over that kek

So, would this be the place to talk about the recent blackface controversy regarding Project Sekai? Not that I play the damn game, but from the looks of it people are combing through it to find anything to claim cultural appropiation, the usual stuff. I didnt really have much interest in project sekai because I didnt care about the new characters added in along with the loids, but it's good to see I dodged a bullet by not touching it or associating with the fandom. It's somehow current year vocaloid fandom but worse.

Honest to fucking god, this is why I rarely engage anymore. There's a reason why I avoid any synth other than Vocaloid or UTAU, and even then don't touch any synth crossover. I didn't even hear of PS until yesterday.
