I too am intrigued by this. I saw some vague tweets he made about SFV but no real information. Is it just that the games 6 years old now and he played for like 2 months at launch a week in 2019 and then again 3 years later so hes way out of his depth with the players left playing it?oh btw last podcast Pat straight up said he's more or less done with fite gaems, fyi
Long story is that the games he wants to play are filled with bad netcode and many devs are set in their ways. He basically just wants to start a game, press maybe one or two buttons to get a match, have the match run fine, and then go to the next match. Why? that was the backbone of their channel for years, was it "muh dlc" or what?
Do you remember what game they were talking about when he brought this up? I'm curious what game he was trying to defend because he's been stubborn as fuck to continue things that left a bad taste in his mouth at the beginning, so I wonder what's changed.on the podcast, Pat thinks that people who dont want to spend 100+ hours on a game to get to the good part, are stupid. Someone mentioned 'who has 100 hours to spend on one game, to which he said "you can buy a game and play it over 5 year, theres no time limit on something you own"
I get his point, but I dont want to spend 5 years on a single game, and if im not enjoying a game 20 hours in, I dont want to play 80 more hours just to get to the good parts.
Judgement intensifies. Every time I've ever popped out Royal Guard it was because I wanted to style on a boss by shrugging off their fancy attacks, then blasting them with a full meter counter. What asshole sees a parry fight style and uses it to defend exclusively?royal guard in DMC
I find it absolutely fascinating how Woolie has to do it his way.
I think it was witcher 3? Either that or final fantasy 14Do you remember what game they were talking about when he brought this up?.
Best part is there are plenty of comments in the thread expressing exactly that. That thread is fucking hilarious.
Like... How could anyone have not known?
Idk Woolie why didnt you lab Arkham Asylum offscreen and get better with the combat, dipshit?
Listen, y'all don't know Woolie, and can't tell him what to do, and he's all about hard games, you don't know him, but Sifu is too fast, it doesn't give him enough lab time, and keeps trying to push him into progress. Someone who isn't LPing would have an easier time, you all don't know him, he's all about hard games, no johns. Where is the snail accessibility settings? Time to turn off the game and talk to Reggie about not-johns for 20 minutes. You dont know Woolie. You can't tell him what to do. He's all about hard games. No johns. He'd be acing this if he wasn't LPing.
"Maybe a patch will fix it so I can go back and redo bad choices that hold me back."
The real red pill on suzi is the connection to anthony cumiaNot news for any of us but Suzi aka spherehunter finally came out as trans.
I wonder if...

More people are waking up and realizing the magic is gone, and the dream is dead. Considering how sudden the breakup was, it was understandable that it would take something like a year for the guys to find their groove back.I like that three years after the channel ended, we still occasionally get new posters in this thread echoing the same complaints that people have been making for so long.
Haha, this is the first time I sat down and actually watched woolies content post-breakup after stumbling onto their reddit sub. I mean the way they talk about woolies content seems like all is well even after the breakup but its clear they're just loyal fanboys still clinging on to the channel out of pity, I seriously can't see how anyone can actually enjoy his content. I don't like watching streams, just isn't my thing but even I can acknowledge Pats twitch grind and the effort he puts into it. Just had to vent seeing woolie in this state, I hope he gets his shit together or he gets off his high horse and does more LP's with Pat because the "woolie way" sure as shit ain't working....I like that three years after the channel ended, we still occasionally get new posters in this thread echoing the same complaints that people have been making for so long.
idk, I don't think coof is to blame for Woolie's enthusiasm decline. Pat for sure became dumber and more annoying due to the quarantine, but I don't think this excuse works in Woolie's case. I think if anything twitter is the biggest influence on all 4 in that regard and why they all suck in different ways now.More people are waking up and realizing the magic is gone, and the dream is dead. Considering how sudden the breakup was, it was understandable that it would take something like a year for the guys to find their groove back.
However, two things happened. First, Covid hit and and it opened the can of worms on politics and just how ignorant and pig-headed these guys are. Second, Vtubers became a huge and people began to realize how much the guys were phoning it in. These guys have done nothing to adapt to the brave new world that is streaming now, and it's starting to bite them in the ass as their audience grows smaller and goes to the competition.
yeah, about that - even if Woolie was willing to do that Pat wouldn't because I don't think there's much to gain from that for him.I hope he gets his shit together or he gets off his high horse and does more LP's with Pat because the "woolie way" sure as shit ain't working....
I can see that, deleting my account from that hellsite was one of the best things I've ever done. However, Woolie never struck me as one of those perpetually online people like Pat is. Also Woolie seemed to do a lot more before Covid happened, but that could just be me projecting.idk, I don't think coof is to blame for Woolie's enthusiasm decline. Liams heel turn into being this massive bitch-made faggot behind the scenes was so bizarre, Rising superbitch and boss baby were probably secret gay lovers and Pat autistically sperging out and disrespecting Liams favourite loli visual novel got him all pissy and he egged on Matt who was already at odds with Pat.They were all heading in their current directions before the breakup.
When Liam left, I always thought the actual reason was because of Pat getting more and more... psychopathic. Pat used to be very conscientious, with occasional autism, but fans latched onto his squirks and he started feeding it more and more in response to people praising his quirky goblins.
And remember the shitshow that was Nuzlocke? That was a Woolie led LP. Really seems like a prototype for the boring slow autistic drag that is all his LPs now.
From around Nuzlocke onward Matt started acting like a bitch who didnt wanna be in the LPs. It wasnt cause of Nuzlocke, it was probably his wife and growing irritation with Pat, but I really noticed Matt dragging down anything he was in around Nuzlocke.
Matt would constantly take passive aggressive snipes at Pat after Liam left and seemed like he didnt wanna be in any LPs or the podcast. It wasnt too big a surprise they broke up, just sudden.
But they did keep each others' autisms in check. Pat really needed Liam and Matt to tell him he was a douche and wrong. Woolie needed people to break his ego and make fun of him so he'd just let go.
Your leaving out how much Matt and Liam needed Pat and Woolie. They were all heading in their current directions before the breakup.

Liams turn was always the oddest to me. Guy owns copies of the Monster Girl Encyclopedia (Jammed with loli bs) and a box copy of Sengoku Rance (Heros goal is to literally fuck every woman, consent or not), not to mention his best known joke from SBFP is dropping hard R during Star Fox Adventures. Talk about an overcorrection.Liams heel turn into being this massive bitch-made faggot behind the scenes was so bizarre, Rising superbitch and boss baby were probably secret gay lovers and Pat autistically sperging out and disrespecting Liams favourite loli visual novel got him all pissy and he egged on Matt who was already at odds with Pat.
