Philosophy Tube / Oliver Lennard / Oliver "Olly" Thorn / Abigail Thorn - Breadtube's Patrick Bateman.

I really like Contra but let's remember we're talking about a transwoman with a huge amount of (other) psychological hangups and self-loathing ... Her idea of a Chad (and especially one who she'd see as accessible) would probably be a lot lower than other people.

Because Ollie "isn't a man", remember!!
LOL. She’s definitely not doing it because she’s respecting his pronouns…. But I wonder if Olly is trying to interpret it that way so that he can sleep at night

“Natalie says she’s never had feelings for a man because I’m a biological female now :)

The idea is to, as always, change the language. That can never stop, because like all good soldiers of Foucault they believe language is the source of power (more or less). That's why there doesn't need to be a party line that can be debated reasonably because the goal is for there to be no debate possible at all. Attacks on words and their meanings are just the front line, see also 'people with cervixes' and similar nonsense. In this specific instance the goal is to just change what the word 'female' means, so that the statement 'biologically female' ends up being meaningless, also making debate meaningless. Something like:

Trans women are women -> women are biologically female -> trans women are biologically female

Olly has made basically this point a few times now. He says he's a woman so that automatically also means his body is female, 'biologically'. If you read this and think it makes absolutely no sense at all, you're correct. That's the point. Olly loves this because it surely cannot have escaped anyone's notice that it's almost exclusively female words and concepts that are being attacked. Nobody is advocating for the abolishing of men's sports or healthcare.
Now you mention it, I can't recall ever hearing any FtM trannies saying that they are "biologically male". I don't think I've ever heard that. It's always dudes in dresses looking to get into those elusive ladies' toilets and locker rooms.

Probably because no guys care if women come in the gents' toilets - dressed as men or not. I've seen that happen at large events when there's a long queue at the ladies. Apart from the odd "wahay!!" there's practically no reaction at all, and certainly no negative reaction.

Similarly, show me a single guy who would have a problem with women entering any male sports competition. I think the most common sentiment would be "respect" if they can remotely keep up with the men.

As per usual, it's just women who are the big losers in this whole "trans" movement. Yet these guys apparently can't see how incredibly misogynistic it all is.

I’ve seen it pointed out before that it largely seems to be women being pressured to make all these accommodations, even just in terms of language alone. Like we have “menstruator” or “birth giver” (which is weird because the medically accurate and not dehumanizing or stupid-sounding term “gestational parent” has already been in use for a while especially with lesbian couples) but there’s no mass effort to have men be called “fertilizers” or some shit.

I’ve also heard that this kind of thing can make it harder for people to access healthcare while in the name of access and accommodation trans people. With the poor state of reproductive health education in the US (for one) coupled with poverty or cultural differences (immigrant communities, for example) healthcare outreach requires really clear and easily understandable language. Like there’s a reason that the pamphlets at the doctor’s office are written with plain and simple wording. It’s not to talk down to people or anything, but just try to cast as a wide of a net as possible so people who have real material or socioeconomic barriers to getting care, and really need it, can be helped.

Sorry, slight tangent, but all of that is to say it’s just so clearly disingenuous when Olly and the like won’t even consider any broader implications or complexity in their weird demands. It often takes a lot of privilege to think the way so many of them do.

FtMs probably realise wtf they got themsleves into when they have to use the stinking filthy mens toilets.
Slip back into the ladies lavs, or invest in a good she-wee + bottle.

the whole being-so-insufferable-denying-bio-sex-as-reality thing from Ol Lies cohort, is honestly so intelligence insulting it makes it seem like he actually IS a fed, being paid to turn the tide against troons.
likely not the case; Olly just needs to step up to be higher self-righteously and pick a more extreme standpoint, because he's desperate for attention- but what its doing is only damaging, gravely, his 'trans siblings'.
Loads of them hate this, but he blocks every single one that pipes up on his propaganda platforms.

If Tube hadnt trooned, literally what would he talk about? Once he's staged his magnum-Ophra, h's gonna find himself pretty stuck for conversation.

@LemongrassLighthouse interestingly those terms - menstruator etc, are aimed towards FtMs.
All the surface level language shit has usually been in their direction- whereas the access, IRL changed- to sports, shelters, has been more in focus on MTFs.

That's what it looks like on the surface, but realistically nothing happens because of FTM feelings because no one cares.

MTFs lose their boners when people associate the word "woman" with actual female biology and that's how real change happens, folks.

All these troons declaring they are “biological women” really burn me up. I've never met a biological woman with a dick and balls hanging between her legs.

Crazy story tangent here but this kind of idiocy always reminds me of a friends housewarming party I went to. There was a girl I was unfamiliar with who brought her “girlfriend” along. It was an obviously a dude with a 5 o’clock shadow wearing a mini skirt and thigh highs thinking he was hot shit. They proceeded to announce her “girlfriend” came out as trans, his new retarded name and his pronouns. It was awkward as fuck.
Later on the “girlfriend” left but the girl stayed behind. At some point, unprompted, she brought up how she "never realize how great lesbian sex could be". Someone inquired what she meant and she said now that her “girlfriend” came out that she is a woman they don’t have to use condoms anymore and “how amazing sex feels”.
Another asked if her girlfriend was using hormones yet and she said no.

Guess whos baby shower my friend ended up having to go to months later?

If Olly isn't taking hormones I wonder how much it cost to get all that hair removed from his chest. If I recall he was close to having the hairy chest of a 70s porn star before becoming a "woman".

Forgive me for the off topic tangents Olly is not entertaining me enough. But I’m doing another.

Tell me your thoughts. Or rate me autistic what fucking ever lol

This is related to FtM and language about menstruators:

There was a Canadian company that manufactured cloth / reusable pads. Grassroots company based in the west coast with these alt artsy ladiez who sewed the pads by hand. Very up my alley, right? Right. (Ha)

They advertised in punky magazines and they had a cool weird feministy vibe. Enviro conscious. Carried Diva cups before most ppl even knew what they were. They made me feel like Lilith Fair adjacent or somehhing

They were called Luna Pads. They had cutesy patterned fabrics and some plain options and some organic options.

Within the last couple years they rebranded entirely and call themselves “Aisle” (…. As in the period aisle of a store???)

Jokes on you I’m pretty sure most stores label the “period aisle” as “feminine products” but anyway!

They have taken off any female signifiers. Any hint that their products relate to womanhood or female sex at all. No more cutesy patterns.

They seem to exclusively be catering to making sure trans ppl don’t attack them for connecting menstruation to sex or gender. Appearing woke and progressive. (That and making sure they have massive sizes available for the morbidly obese..)

Ambiguous body in boxers… (note - these are padded underwear for menstrual periods)

I am very turned off by this.
Like it looks like it’s taboo to have even remotely feminine traits. The available colour choices are EXCLUSIVELY notably masculine colour ways: deep blue, black, a deep red with squiggles, and deep green with squiggles:

4D5643DE-42B1-4711-81DB-1C9D1BACEE47.png

Their (menstrual) underwear also has army print and a deep purple and burnt orange.

Like sure it’s their company but I think it’s a bit of a misstep to pretend that women aren’t the core user base of their products?? Am I crazy??????

Is it weird that I feel like kind of unwelcome there and I’m disinterested in their company now?? Or am I analogous to an out of touch whitie crying about “reverse racism”? Please tell me your thoughts on this case study.

For référence here’s the previous branding and product—

Not particularly or over the top girly. And some were plain black or plain beige. Like none had fucking lipsticks or anything that I recall. Like I said these were feministy ladies. They were kinda ~funky~

Instead of increasing their colour options for inclusivity sake, they eliminated anything cutesie, whimsical or PINK. There is NOTHING PINK. It’s notably absent. NO LADIES ALLOWED. NOTHING THAT COULD BE PERCEIVED AS FEMININE. ONLY INCLUSIVITY.

Is this the trans agenda?

Is this the future Olly wants??? No I’d think he’d want a pad for himself and he wants it in pink with white lace edging!!

(Oh and I hope the pix are appropriately sized…. Trying…. )

I almost bought some of these back in the day when they had fun patterns. Troons ruin everything 😞

I just cannot comprehend how someone could be so batshit retarded.
This is exactly why it's important that people say things like "women need to go for cervical cancer screening" rather than "people with cervixes need to go for cervical cancer screening". There's both a lot of idiots out there who don't know what a cervix is, smart people who don't know what a cervix is because they didn't get a proper education, and people who don't speak English very well who don't know what "cervix" means.
Is this the future Olly wants??? No I’d think he’d want a pad for himself and he wants it in pink with white lace edging!!
This is the interesting thing about the current changes to language around women's health. It's actually not the MTFs doing it, it's the FTMs. All this stuff about "people who menstruate", "birthing parent", "cervix havers" - it's euphemistic to avoid upsetting the FTMs. This is probably because male specific healthcare is grouped under neutral sounding terms like urology or proctology, and the MTFs also get euphoria if they manage to finagle their way into seeing a gynaecologist for their amhole and see a sign saying "women's health".

That said, looks like the rebranding was a long time coming. They issued a statement in 2011 about trans inclusivity and launched their boxers in 2016, followed by an (actually fairly interesting) article about why people should stop saying "feminine hygiene" in 2017 and then a 2019 article from a "lifespan doula" discussing how "people with penises" can honour their periods through creating "rituals" around them. They've even rebranded their pads4girls initiative into "dignity projects" (but hey, they're still ensuring poor women have access to menstrual products so it's not all bad).

That seems very strange to me.

It could be because of tranny backlash, but nothing there would give them anything to use as ammunition. Therefore I can only think of two possibilities: either there's a tranny who's somehow involved with the company that's influencing things, or the trannies are a more lucrative market.

Actual women obviously only get their period once per month. Trans women, however, seem to get their "period" 3-4 times within the same interval.
Pads are basically disposable masturbatory aids to them, as such I'm guessing they order way more of them; I wouldn't be surprised if your Jonathan Yaniv's have packages of feminine products arriving at their doorstep every couple days.

Although idk, maybe this is some reverse psychology shit: maybe because the trannies get off on anything feminine, the people behind the company started making the products less overtly feminine because then they'd still function without helping dudes in dresses jerk off? Or maybe they're marketing to dykes?

As an aside, the entire period obsession with the trannies has always seemed especially disgusting to me since women who've gotten hysterectomies obviously don't menstruate what with not having a uterine lining anymore, yet bizarrely enough the trans never seem to see themselves as those women. Despite also not having a uterus they must specifically be women who get their periods. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the fact that fertile women are easier to masturbate to.

PS: I like your fat guinea pig pfp

I disagree, I think she's an uggo.

That's fair. I know nothing about her so probably why she doesn't do anything for me. I watched parts of that video you posted and frankly she looks and sounds like a tranny. I can see why you made the connection now.

Just out of curiosity....do you have any examples on hand of women who you find attractive and/or think are beautiful? If so, who?

It's an established fact that black women have way more testosterone than any other type of woman on average. It's what led to hilarious articles like this:

Holy shit. No offence, but each take of yours is worse than the one before. Are you ok?

I dont give a shit if they are trans or not, I only care if they are Glowies.

Ok? @DirtyHegal....you've been barking up th is particular tree for at least 6 months here, probably longer. If there is any "there, there", it wont be found here. We wanna talk about Chube here and the "actual fed" situation has already been addressed by @AssignedEva and others.

I can recommend some reddit channels for you if you're interested...?

Why are these tolerate left white 'transwomen' such bigots to Angie Speaks?

Well, the closest explanation I've heard is from one of Angie's livestreams, where she talks about being on a panel at some event with all the other big name breadtube boys. And how, in person, they had a tendency of talking through and over her, not letting her speak and generally treating her as a token. She never exonerated Chube from these behaviors (he was there) but as far as I know she hasnt publicly named him as being one of the worst. (Although she has made sweeping statements about white male breadtube in general.)

The people who I remember her specifically calling out in that livestream were HBomberguy and Big Joel. (That last one was disappointing....I'd always enjoyed Big Joel before that.)

But yeah....I guess all this together with some shit I'm not privy to ended up getting her cancelled because she comes out ahead in the almighty Oppression Olympics games these dudes are obsessed with.

Looks like they’re going for the troon niche. Luckily there are lots of reusable pad options out there these days (or there were last time I bought some) so hopefully there are many better options now. If that company wants to fuck themselves over by catering to a market that can’t admit they are women, fuck them.

(Seriously, can you imagine having those people as your customer base?)

I have said stuff like that to TRAs before and they literally reply stuff like “wow do you really think immigrants can’t figure out what a cervix is? Do you think they’re dumb?” or “anyone who can’t figure out if they have a prostate deserves to get sick anyway.”

All the social justice stuff is just a cover when it comes to TRAs. It’s just rote language they repeat so that the movement they are parasitizing will continue to accept them.

They don’t give a shit about whether anyone outside their circle of troons is harmed; in fact, even considering such harm is verboten in those circles because it’s “giving ammunition to TERFs.” Immigrants, the disabled, people without access to education: actual harm that might come to those people matters less than troon feelings.

In my Central European Cheeki-Breekistan a good number of gyppos fail to connect the dots between having unprotected sex and pregnancy to this day, even with sex ed classes. TRAs have a fairly classist and USA-centric view of the world.

Yeah exactly, a lot of online tranny/SJW discourse at large is only possible or even comprehensible in an Anglosphere-centric framework.

This is why I love how the TRAs will have bios that simultaneously include stuff like "punch TERFs and SWERFs!" and also "no human is illegal". I appreciate the humanism but are they seriously expecting that an old man from Mexico is gonna respect the she/her pronouns of the 6 foot tall cashier in a wig with a man jaw that can cut glass? Or that a young woman fleeing from a warzone is not gonna be "SWERF"y and "whorephobic" after seeing the unspeakably vile way rape is used as a weapon in war and being privy (through hearsay at best) to what the "sex industry" actually amounts to in her region and in most of the world for that matter?

The west's cultural climate is fucked.

Oh my god. Olly literally posted about how he went to Disneyland with a "girl"friend at the beginning of their relationship and that they fucked around then. This was him referring to when he met Contrapoints in person at Vidcon and they went to Disneyland together, which would have been at the start of their relationship. There are literally photos of this plus a dozen comments of Contra referring to Olly as a "Chad" and Olly referring to himself as a "Chad" (for ex., Contra commenting "we stan an ikea shelf breaking chad" under his video about how his girlfriend before Contra was abusive). Ockham's Razor bad and can't be applied to real life situations or whatever but seriously.

View attachment 2996206

The only evidence that he dated the other guy is that Contrapoints liked and commented heart eye emojis on a few of his Instagram posts.
ETA-

That text from Chube, and the fact that Nat heart-liked it, is pretty incriminating; I get that. The chatter waaaay upthread tho goes back and forth and it doesnt seem like there was agreement on Ollie being Chad. From memory, I wanna say not in Contra's thread either. That Ollie and Contra had a thing- definitely. But not on him being Chad from the Shame video, IIRC.

I'm totally fine being wrong here, btw.

Never thought these retards would go down the route of claiming to be "biologically" women, or "female". Isn't this a super recwnt development?

I thought the party line was that gender was a distinct concept from sex? That was at least somewhat arguable. Like, I disagree with it but you could have se sort of academic or philosophical debate about gender roles, perception, identity, etc. and dress it up so you don't sound completely nuts.

What's the idea with changing this to "we were always biologically female"? That's not even slightly debatable. We can literally do science tests on your DNA to see that, no, you're not. Hell, even an x-ray (or just functioning eyes, but if you need to put it in "sciencey" terms) can easily reveal your male bone structure.

I read something the other day about this (will try to find it later for attribution) about how the argument has something to do with taking hormones and how they believe that once a man takes a certain amount of estrogen (and...I guess....start growing little moobs and whatever else) then their bodies are biologically, scientifically at least 30% female at that point.

It's madness but some of them are really attached to these....ideas?

@narcissistic injury Ooh I remember Luna Pads! I was interested in them for awhile and almost bought some. (I had several small children at once and was really into cloth diapering....the communities overlapped.)

Tbh I kinda like their new look better. Just fits my own aesthetic. But more importantly, yeah it 100% looks like they're trying to go for "more inclusivity" with the new name and all the other changes. Overall, as a consumer, all that shit is a turn off.

There's no exact confirmation, it's more of an Occam's Razor type situation.

Ollie and Contra definitely had a thing, up to and including Ollie buying Contra expensive gifts he couldn't afford. Ollie was, pre-transition, also held up as a breadtube model of wholesome masculinity and (for whatever stupid reason) the subject of some thirst posting (which would mesh with Chad being someone people were jealous of Contra getting to date - bear in mind that Contra is going to play that aspect of her life up).

I don't find the idea that Contra was dating an Olympian credible, she basically just was thirsty on his instagram page with no reciprocated interaction. Contra blabs details of people she dates, and there's no evidence that Contra was banging anyone other than Ollie and Theryn (who obviously isn't Chad), plus Ollie obviously feels some animosity towards Theryn based on those tweets unearthed a couple of pages back.

In terms of Chad timings, this is from Shame, released February 2020:

I had a serious long-term boyfriend for a year and a half, who I had very genuine feelings for. Plot twist! Storytime!

...

So, I really wanted this to work. Like, if I was gonna be with a man, he was the one. And for a year or so, I thought it was working. I enjoyed the time we spent together, I missed him when he was gone, I told him I loved him and I meant it.

But what happened is that by the end of the first year, the initial excitement died down, and while Chad was ready to keep escalating the relationship, I was realizing that something was very seriously emotionally wrong on my end. There was something missing. And when I realized I was in love with Joanne, I was like, “There's that missing feeling.” And I started to understand what my problem was.

Then, last Fall, I posted to Instagram an aloof picture of me with the caption, “Do I actually like men? Or do I just like attention?” And I didn't mean anything serious by that. I was just joking around.

...

But a few people left comments saying, “Oh, are you making a video about comphet? You should make a video about comphet.” And I was like, “What the fuck is comphet?” So I googled it...

last December, I broke up with him, because I'm a lesbian, which at least is a good reason.

I suppose you could argue that "last December" means December 2018 rather than December 2019. However note that Contra says she dated Chad for a year and a half. Contra was still genderqueer during the Blaire White debate in April 2017. She tweeted that she called herself "trans femme" in September 2017 because calling herself a woman was a "lot of ontological commitment". It's only by the time of her debate with Theryn in February 2018 that she was definitely trans - so in terms of timings, she must have been referring to December 2019.

Ollie and Contra first met in June 2018 at VidCon, having been flirting wildly online prior including over video streams. June 2018 - June 2019 is "a year or so", and so the other half a year would take you to December 2019.

Contra was still dating "Chad" in September 2019, when she posted an Instagram selfie saying “Do I actually like men? Or do I just like attention?”:

Contra was still sticking up for Ollie in "Cancelling" (likely filmed November/December 2019), and Ollie got dumped in December 2019 as he made Contra return the Versace jumper he'd gotten her for Christmas (this is from a livestream in 2021):

I bought Versace only once... It was a Christmas present, I bought a Versace jumper for a then girlfriend. That was big money, like it was a big big present. She loved Versace, top to bottom she loved it. So I got her this big big big present like 'hey I love you a whole lot'. I mean I used to love to spoil her. So yeah I got this Versace jumper and I had to order it quite far in advance, and she dumped me. So I was like hey even though we just broke up well there's a Versace jumper in the post- do you want to just return that? I made her return it and I got that money back.

Contra officially came out as a transbian in February 2020 (video likely filmed December 2019/January 2020), and in Ollie's coming out video in January 2021 he indicates he started writing the script for the coming out video "about a year ago, almost".

Contra no longer wants anything to do with Ollie, presumably because after the transbian video he started trooning out to try and turn himself into a t4t transbian for Contra. It's possible that there is some mysterious man that Contra was dating who was a total chad and he's someone who's left no digital traces... but this Chad would have had to overlap massively with Ollie. The most logical explanation is that Ollie is Chad.

Really feels like a losing strategy guys. But whatever, carry on I guess.
In response to Ollie claiming he's a biological woman, by using stupid wordplay to reference the fact he's a "biological" living thing and a woman rather than a cyborg (that's also doubtful), it's appropriate to cross-post this snippet recently posted in the Sideshows thread. Just to remind you, PT.
"Thomas Jefferson declared that all men are created equal, and he was mostly correct.

All males are about 99.9 percent identical when it comes to their genomes, the biological entities that carry the codes for traits passed down through generations of parents and their children. That means that any two males differ by only 0.1 percent at the genetic level, and these differences account for all of the variety preset in males before they begin to develop in their mothers and then the outside world.

Of course, despite the lofty language and democratic philosophy, the country’s Founding Fathers made some notable exemptions in their conception of equality and inalienable rights for the new nation’s citizens. And even as women continue to fight for equality in many aspects of society today, they are less like men than even Jefferson knew, sharing only 98.5 percent of their genetic makeup with men. That’s 15 times greater than the difference between any two human males, who are about as genetically similar to a male chimpanzee as to a human female."

No offence to you but you're a woman, I don't expect you to hold opinions that aren't socially approved by your peers.
Unironically believing women are a hivemind is quite troony. Ollie, if this is your sock account then please hurry up with the face reveal. It's getting genuinely annoying now. There's a chance it's botched but more likely he's basking in the narc-y anticipation of his big reveal.
