Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

Very good article from Victor Davis Hanson.

Honestly Victor Davis Hanson really has become prophetic when it comes to history these last five years. I think quite possibly he is one of the most under appreciated historians of the era.

People also seem to forget that each US state has its own independent military under the guise of National Guard. It's not the same situation at all.
there's also various State Guards, who are just there to... help, the Federally-controlled National Guard

What interest does it make in the bank? 0.5%?
Canadians live in a world where they can have their accounts frozen for the slightest wrongthink. Normal world thinking doesn't apply anymore.
You wouldn't keep large amounts of assets in the bank. You would buy stocks or futures or some other kind of financial investment. The problem is you can't buy those or cash them out without a bank account. Not practically anyways.

What is there to smile about?
Your heath, your family, your hobbies, your faith. You find things and don't let your self OD on DOOM.
If your a Canadian your lucky in that you live in a very big country with a very weak government. It's easy to avoid them if you don't participate in their systems. Get out of the city.

I mean, civil forfeiture isn’t a thing here the way it is in the US, there’s normally a court process but who the fuck knows these days.
The idea that the government that voted to grant literal dictatorial powers to Justin Trudeau only an hour or two ago would need something like "laws" to take things from people is pretty funny.

Here's the timestamp for the conclusion of the vote, let's see what they chose.
185 Yeas
151 Nays

Motion to extend the Emergency Act has passed.

20 Conservatives rose to file pursuant to section 59 a motion to revoke Trudeau's emergency declaration proclaimed the previous week; rejected.

Well boys, rev up yer engines, it's dystopia time!

They're already planning to sell the trucks without trial or legal recourse for the owners.

If Dear Leader wills it, it shall be done.

Reminder that when this came out people were making fun of it for being so cartoony and unrealistic
It's really sad how uncanny it is. This is exactly what I thought listening to those liberal MPs cheering the votes passage.

Thanks Canada, for unmasking these people. This has really put things in perspective.

I understand the security part but not the inflation part. Banks don't pay anything for keeping your money in a savings account.
Much of my money is in investments that are hard to liquidate without tax implications. Sadly my life has not been set up to pull up stakes and bolt so this is going to take some time to sort out.

Mr Flan and I are having some conversations we would both have considered schizo a short time ago.

I kinda want to reach out to my old friend who ditched us because we didn’t want to agree with some of his far out conspiracy theories. I kinda owe him an apology. But I imagine he’s either in a very bad place, or a good place for being right.

I would like more context please
a month or two back A Florida Governor announced that he was necro-ing The Florida State Guard, and their logo is apparently a riff on a gator and the legendary First State Flag of Florida which was a massive clusterfuck but made sure include "FUCK OFF"
1645499532501.png

While introducing it he explained "now clearly this is just in case federal forces of the National Guard need help with... you know, stuff. And obviously not in case we feel the need, the need for secede! "

police shouldn't be tarred either way. orders are orders, and if they refuse to obey they end up in the same situation as the truckers that are being deplatformed right now.

responsibility lies with the one who holds authority, the one who gives the order, not the grunt who carries it out.

At this point, Canadian cops should be refused service for their collaboration. If they want to turn the people into slaves at the behest of Trudeau, the people should turn them into outcasts for going along with it. Traitors are always worse than enemies, they were given that badge on the presumption they would protect the people, not persecute them.

>Anything to the right of socialism in Canada becomes punishable by unpersoning and gulag
>People start immigrating to the US on the grounds of political persecution and discrimination
>Because everyone immigrating is immigrating due to political leaning, US gets more redpilled

A man can dream

The silliness of this whole thing just hit me. Him? He's the guy you are giving the keys to the Cadillac to? Really?
People somehow voted in favor of this. Not as a prank or a joke or a make-a-wish pretend thing like they did for that retarded kid in Seattle who wanted to be a superhero for a day.

No, an actual sorta real government (it's Canada) just gave Justin Trudeau fuckin' war powers.
