You have a Canadian government which is now determined to see its dissidents and their associated communities starve. You can't give a dissident money, that's illegal. This means that they can't work. And that means they can't provide for their families. Men have gone to war for far less.

We can all agree here that self-defense is good and natural. If a murder breaks into your house, determined to take your life and your possessions, you have the God given right to defend yourself. Even up there this idea applies, even if it is "Shoot, shovel, shut-up."

Fascism is a political system where resources, commerce and industry are controlled by the state, for the benefit of the state, and the populace is expected/encouraged/coerced in acting for the benefit of the state. The US has dabbled in fascist-like behavior and all these recent coof mandates and demands are a good example of that.

Fascism is not black or white because various government have chosen to enact it various ways using different methods. Mussolini and Franco did not rule over their respective countries in the same way, the military junta in Argentina and Sri Lanka did not either.
