What is there to smile about? All we have is Trudeau bringing the hammer down to the delight of his supporters, and he didn’t even need to bring in the military. If it ain’t the end, we’re in the epilogue where Trudeau is trying to 100% the convoy crush with the only shocking aspect is that he didn’t try to speed run.

You and I both know there will be consequences for Trudeau’s actions, and if you think that the CBC will bury the protests in a month’s time and everyone will move on, you’re kidding yourself. The genie is not going back in the bottle. The Canadian dollar is going to get weaker, the cultural divide between Ontario and everybody else will worsen, and most importantly, Canada has lost every right to morally highroad other countries forever, and that alone gives me the biggest shit-eating grin this side of the Mississippi.

Founding fathers were fucking geniuses... They knew that democracy can and will always turn into a dictatorship by majority, so they put Senate in place to keep the Congress in check. They also knew each different states will require their own independence to allow their own grievances to be addressed, so they created a very strong state system...

Whereas in Canada, federal government literally takes your shit and gives it to other provinces "for reasons.". They can also destroy your economy by fucking up your resource projects on purpose for "greater purpose" despite the local resistance.

It's a fucking insane system.

This is a bit off topic but since it's downtime I figure it can't hurt to ask.

How are my fellow Americans feeling? I'm legit kind of shook up by this. I mean it's not weird to see British colony turn authoritarian given the records of the UK and Australia, but the speed and severity this happened has shocked me. All the stories of people having their savings stripped away because they donated a couple bucks to, and I'm quoting the Trudeau regime, a protest is still kind of surreal to me. It took just a couple weeks for things to get that bad.

My question is, should we Americans start prepping for this to happen to us? I know everyone here would say you should have pulled out of banks and started prepping years ago, but I'm talking about serious prepping. Not just keeping a rainy day fund in crypto/gold/silver, but pulling ALL of your assets out of banks. Not just having a couple weeks/months of supplies, but years. I'm not sure if I should be that nervous, but I kind of am at this point. What are ya'll thinking?
