We have a far stronger and legitimate claim to defending Taiwan from China than Ukraine from Russia.

1. Taiwan's government is essentially the same one we were allied with against the Japanese during WWII, and we maintained that partnership throughout the Cold War.
2. Taiwan provides much of the world's microprocessors, a vital strategic item for the West.
3. Fuck China, China is asshole.
