That makes me wonder what will happen to Woolie in a decade or so. Does he even have any prospects for life? At this point I feel like we're watching a man who'll crumble to dust the moment his online career is over.
Matt will be more or less fine after marrying into a relatively well-off family, and having dipped his toes in the game dev scene. He'll just continue being mediocre in his own little bubble.
Liam will continue streaming and apologizing for breathing the same air as others. Best case scenario, he'll separate himself from social media and maybe find something more productive to do. I still think that after the breakup he has the best chances at a normal life if he would start a family or something.

Last night Max was streaming the new King of Fighters and was mostly getting his ass whooped. He never really complained, kept the energy up and seemed to be having a good time learning the game on stream. He had around 10k viewers.

Max is generally a very positive guy. I'm sure there's more examples but the only time I've ever seen Max genuninely down/mad at a game was GG Xrd when a Slayer basically instakilled his Baiken and he immediately uninstalled the game after.

You can be annoyed by the fakeish hype shit but Max and his friends are always pretty genuine. I fucking loved watching them play Dong Dong Never Die because it was consistently blowing their minds how fun it was. He also has that one video where he falls in love with SF EX3 in spite of earlier misgivings about the title. He's probably the only mainstream FG guy I know that liked MVCI and he's stuck by that in spite of the game getting (Rightfully) shit on by literally everybody else. I also remember when a Capcom rep approached him on twitter to shill for SFV and he turned them down because Max, like most people, doesn't like SFV.

He's also someone that's contributed a lot to fighting games too. Hell, his ASSIST ME! videos got me into playing Marvel 3 competitively and Max also never hesitates when it comes to new fighting game stuff. He was one of the first I saw doing MVC3 palette swap stuff afterall. Now he's playing KOF and I'm sure he'll be on the Capcom FG Collection the second it drops too.

Has Woolie even looked at UMVC3 Palette swaps yet? Man turned away from a MFF to play Marvel 3 after all. You figured he'd be fucking around with Cyclops at least. Shit, even I've downloaded the palette swap stuff and it makes me feel alive again.

Pat somehow assumes that everything would be perfect if everyone was immortal AND healthy and woolie agrees but then he points at Kars being stuck in space forever and Pat says "ok immortal but you can still be killed if you want". So like, he wants the "good" part while ignoring the bad part?

I also feel like Woolie didnt understand everhood AT ALLL and only focused on "The message is that immortality is bad cause reeincarnation is good so killing is justified and i dont agree" when it's such a low IQ take.

It's not really about "immortality = bad", it's how being effectively frozen in time doing the same thing for eternity would breakyou into a cycle of insanity. If everyone is immortal, then why give a fuck about anything? Why bother evolving humanity? What's the point of trying new things? Any reason to not get high all the time? How about harming others out of boredom? It's not like anyone can die so who cares right?

Everhood starts by telling you that "You must abandon your humanity and accept immortality to enter Everhood". You find out EVERYONE did that willingly and that means new life cant be created anymore. Why are you afraid of dying when you forsook your reasons to live? This is the type of dillema you should think about.

I find insane how woolie can hear Pat say "but if everyone was immortal, there would be no problem ever!" and nod along as if Pat is a genius who put so much more thought into immortality than all writers who used that trope. Thing is, he did a non streaming LP type video for elden ring and he's doing a whole series like that for pillars of eternity 2 and he seems totally fine in that, reminds me exactly of classic SBFP pat.

Matt and Pat are the most well off ones post breakup, Matt has always been the most professional dude in the group and that shows in his YouTube channel, his content may be shitty but he knows how to manipulate the algo and get shit tonnes of views, also he churns them out in a great pace. Also has legitimate contacts in the industry, combined with his rich landwhale of a wife's money and his own YouTubebuxx he could shift to the indie dev scene, I think he's hinted at it a lot. With covid it's hard to say on yearly pay but before most entry levels made like 35-40k a year. Supervisor role probably paid closer to 90k. Matt made enough to pay for an apartment by himself so he was probably above entry level , Woolie lived with roommates despite making more because he's probably bad with money.

Even when they do videos/streams alone where they aren't unlikeable, I miss when they were funny and made moments worth people making animations of:

Pat may not be roll-around-in-his-own-shit-man 100% of the time, but his Elden Ring vid... I could watch anybody's streams for the same experience. I could watch a no commentary video, and from what I checked out, all I'd be missing was Pat explaining what bonfires were and reading other tutorials.

You know what? Pause game. Woolie is tired of this game forcing him to pause and reload constantly because he's a neurotic mess trying to nO-sPoiLeR get specific endings instead of just playing naturally and getting whatever ending he gets. The game is forcing him. Its also forcing him to stop and monologue to Reggie about his insecurities for half of each video.

Woolie's playthrough of this (and a lot of stuff TBH) is just bad gameplay and him being a whiny-salty-bitch like he's Matt.
