Watching this stream and listening to the language used is an absolute blackpill. I don't know if they genuinely cannot or obstinately refuse to wrap their heads around the idea that the vaccinated do not all hold the same views. It is possible to be vaxxmaxxed and still believe in the right to bodily autonomy. Some may have felt coerced into getting the jab and others may have chosen to get vaccinated in good faith but are now disillusioned with the constant goal post shifting.

I am pessimistic about this approach due to network effects. When it comes to public standards like social media use, job applications, etc., people will naturally flock towards the standard favored by those in power. Even if you don't like the standard personally, it's better for you to just go along with it rather than kick the proverbial hornet's nest. This is why so many conservatives just suffer in silence in public spaces.

I find it much more likely that this will be changed by simply overturning the regime and shifting the balance of power. Once power favors a different standard, now the network effects favor that standard as well, and there is no more need to sit around plotting how you are going to create some kind of unofficial parallel society. You will have already conquered the official one.

Fascism, as previously stated, is loosely defined, and always has been. Fascism is a political system where resources, commerce and industry are controlled by the state, for the benefit of the state, and the populace is expected/encouraged/coerced in acting for the benefit of the state. The US has dabbled in fascist-like behavior and all these recent coof mandates and demands are a good example of that.

Fascism is not black or white because various government have chosen to enact it various ways using different methods. Mussolini and Franco did not rule over their respective countries in the same way, the military junta in Argentina and Sri Lanka did not either.

To answer your question, yes, the USSR behaved in a fascist manner several times. This isn't the place to go into a discussion of it but Justin Trudeau is behaving precisely in the same way as a fascist strongman of the previous century.

it's not as simple as "simply overturning this regime" because the next regime will consist of the exact same type of peple as the current one. to get real change you would have to violently purge the entire political class, and take measures to prevent them from returning to power at a later time.
