Just days ago, police were promising to fuck over everyone who was in Ottawa over the coming months. It is hard to tell what they are now thinking for the change of policy. Is this 'thawing' of accounts a bluff, before they actually do fuck everyone over in the coming months? Did some advisor tell them that debanking and depersoning all the 'not fully vaxxed,' who comprise a little over 20% of the population, or the unboosted, who comprise about 66% of the population, could have serious consequences? Were they lying, and the freeze shit was all just to get them out of Ottawa in the short run? Is there a Sun Tzu reader who finally piped up in the administration; "When you surround an army, leave an outlet free. Do not press a desperate foe too hard." Are there concerns about triggering civil strife during a possible Eastern European major conflict? Did the banks tell them to fuck off for fear of a bank run? Many possibilities.

After seeing the displays put on by various members of the Canadian government I highly doubt any of them ever put any deep thought into anything at all.

Insinuating to some extent that the government may start locking us down again over Omicron BA.2; that this new subvariant means that The Pandemic™ is STILL not wrapping up (because the common cold has been endemic for millennia, if not orders of magnitude longer than that, and is not a pandemic). I can only hope that the increasing degree of popular outrage may deter them from pulling out a new chapter of this scam.

the book is likely old enough to be public domain, so you shouldn't have to pay anyone to release it. just make pre orders, and sell them. once the funding goes through.

They have to pretend it doesn't exist, because Solzhenitsyn literally has an unassailable character. They can't demonize him in any way because of the contributions he's made to the world. If they admitted the book exists, they also have to admit that a lot of what is said in that book has merit.

It wouldn't surprise me if you could get Mystery Grove Publishing to give a go at making and publishing physical copies. They've done a bunch of stuff on "controversial" types that piss off commies such as Pyotr Wrangel who fought for the white army in Russia. They respond pretty regularly on twatter so if you bug them enough they might publish a paper or hard cover.

Not a physical copy. I must possess it. My collection has few gaps but one of them is 200 Years Together, by Solzhenitzyn

I thought there has never been an official English translation? At least Wikipedia says there is none. I remember some of the guys on 8chan organized a group effort to put together their own translation; the quality was not superb, but it was certainly better than nothing. I have a French copy and those are still published AFAIK.

I know that book and tbh the "anti semitism" in that book is overblown from what I've read of it. Saying Jews joined and partially perpetuated the horrors of the USSR is correct, some jews did and terrorized essentially all of Russia, including other Jews.

I did not find it to be particularly vitriolic. Per the name, it's just a history of the centuries spent together between the Russian and Jewish peoples. I think the people labelling it antisemitic are the same types of people who basically consider Jews to be beyond reproach or criticism; infallible. Sure, the book may at times highlight some of the more unsavory events of Judeo-Russian history, but that's just part of showing the whole picture. For the most part, his tone seems fairly neutral and historian-like IMO.
