Come on man, you're overthinking things. Sure, one can argue that Max's kind of content is very popular among edgy teenagers. But that's just a private, unsupervised space where this adult with a questionable grasp on reality and a love for roleplaying gets to interact directly with his young, very impressionable audience that adores him and his content. There's no way these kinds of things ever go wrong, youtubers are known for being very responsible people, especially when dealing with fans.

So far he's only talked about mother's who've killed their children and that's what's getting to me. Because if it were just munchausen syndrome, I wouldn't give a shit. There's that thread which was featured last year on this site about that crazy bitch who kept picking at her legs so much, they eventually had to be amputated. That bitch is just crazy so whatever who cares right? But to do something like that to your own children who rely on you to be there for them and care for them, and they end up killing them just receive sympathy from the public. Gonna piggyback off this vid to say that my opinion on Wendigoon has done a complete 180. The first vid of his that I watched was the Mystery Flesh Pit one, and I didn’t really like his loose, informal tone at first, but after watching more of his stuff it’s really grown on me and makes the other channels covering these topics come off as very try-hard. Some guy who just records himself in front of his desk talking about this stuff in a not-too-refined manner is a breath of fresh air from all the self-serious edgelords in this sphere.
I'm about 30 minutes into Wendigoon's new video and it's very interesting, even though it's sad as fuck. I'm active in a few threads on here with parents that could have MBP and then just the regular Munchausen. Stuff like that has always interested me, but it doesn't make it less sad. I'm glad he's so professional about sharing all of the research he's done.
Edit: I'd like him to do more medical/psychiatry videos like this, and one on Munchausen's too.

One channel I would recommend is Tara A. Devlin. She covers a lot of japanese horror stories, legends and mysteries that people in the West would otherwise never hear about it.
This is one of those channels I keep expecting to get big, but it never does. I guess it's because she does the exact opposite of every obnoxious trend for teenagers. She translates an incredible volume of material for free.

Tuv is a fucking fag. I tried watching one of his videos once and it was autism. That eboy look is so fucking overdone, I avoid anyone like the plague who looks like that. I haven’t watched this particular vid yet (and never am). Of course, it includes Hatred, which was only made to be as edgy as possible. Postal is a better game gameplay wise and satire wise. I wouldn’t be surprised if he included Ethnic Cleansing in there as well. Like he just copy-pasted the Google results for “most disturbing and controversial games”, which aren’t actually disturbing at all (maybe to widdle teeny-bopper eyes).
