Came across this today. Poor thing is completely broke down and can barely walk as is, dude is trying to find a stud to take her to currently. No idea how she is going to even walk if she is heavily pregnant. Fingers crossed she doesn’t take when they breed her. The guy seems to be aware she looks like shit bc he disables/limits comments in his posts.

I have no idea how to post videos, link to video of this monstrosity moving.
That was painful to watch here is the video archived:

lol that video on the Instagram account.

god fucking dammit, not the cats.

I just read this whole thread in one sitting and all the people involved in breeding these dogs need to be given helicopter rides.

I'm sure a lot of this shit is drug money laundering. Before legalization, weed culture had a lot of this shit, but growing is more like Monsanto now than "Let me show you the clones I grew in my mom's basement." But like if I was trying to build a RICO case and someone said they spent $10,000 on dog cum, I would deadass not know how to respond.

Those twins from Marin City are trying to act like Marin City is all hard and shit. Marin City is not hard. It's in between Mill Valley and Sausalito and it's a thousand blacks all wishing they lived somewhere ghetto.

This is a depressing article from a few years back:

For the herp people, Ali Ayoob has been a personal cow for over a decade.

So many of these doggos look either literally retarded or like they have no interest in life. That one doggo, Miyagi, at least looks aware of his surroundings. It's hard to watch a dog who is still a puppy go 10 steps and just flop down because fuckit.

Anyway, back to my original point, which Sikorsky model do y'all think is ideal for taking these people out to the middle of the ocean?

Imagine watching this poor thing struggle to even walk and thinking that's normal or even desirable in an animal. These poor things, I just don't have words.

I despise these unethical, disgusting breeders. We need someone to do for bulldogs what they're trying to do for pugs now (people are crossing pugs with jack russel terriers to make "retro pugs" that can, you know, breathe). These poor animals don't deserve to suffer their whole lives for someone's shitty aesthetic.

I've been looking at a lot of breeder websites recently because
my mum's dog was finally laid to rest, she wants a new puppy but only a specific breed - not a bulldog or pug tho dw
and the sheer amount of inbreeding going on is just... absolutely sickening. Like "your stomach drops out as you realize the dog they're breeding has the same grandfather on both sides who is also their great-grandfather on one side and their great-great-grandfather on the other" sickening. It's just absolutely mind-blowing. I fully believe ethical breeders who don't practice canine incest or intentionally propagate terrible health issues in the breeds exist, but damn do the bad ones make them all look bad.

I'm so glad that the retro thing is starting to catch up. You see it with cats too, people trying to breed retro siamese and persians. While not there yet, there seems to be movement towards functionality over extreme. I think internet has helped in wierd way, seeing the extreme forms with photo manipulation has kinda made a basic extreme lame to many so the bad stand out more when it's no longer special.

Good breeders can be pain to find but they do exist. Unfortunately the great breeders are most easily found by word of mouth. Mostly because they tend to be popular enough that they don't need much advertising so can kinda forget it. Still don't give up, you can find the right breeder many ways. Good luck.

I agree, it's so great to see people purposely trying to bring breeds back to health - cats and dogs. iirc there are also people trying to breed German Shepherds with working lines to help resolve their back issues as well. I'm very hopeful and a little optimistic that sometime in the next 20 or so years, we'll start to see things like bug-eyed pugs and flat-faced Persians regarded as abominations and breeding for aesthetics over health will be seen as animal abuse (which it is but unfortunately isn't prosecuted as such right now).

Thank you for the luck.
Unfortunately my mum finally picked a kennel last night and it's... let's just say I'm incredibly disappointed and frustrated with her, and I would never be comfortable buying a puppy from that place. 🙄 I hope the puppy doesn't have any health problems.
I'll keep that in mind though if I ever follow through with my dream of having a standard poodle, lol.

Sweet baby jesus. Sphyxes already suffer from some pretty serious health concerns (myopathy/cardiomyopathy, skin conditions, dental issues, not to mention the fact dirt fucking gathers in the skin folds around their claws cause there's no fur there), we don't need them breeding even more tard cats.

Is not there a "thai" breed that is actually old standart siamese?

I am still not over those ugly pitbull noses even appearing on cats.
Teenager me literally cried when I learned that sweet kitties I read about in Dorin Tovey's books now looked like this.
I haven't followed it for while but yes thai name has been used. Some breeders prefer to use old time, retro or original siamese at least as a simple breed description. Mainly because it tells to those unfamiliar with the topic what's going on and/or encourages them look up on siamese breed history. Makes enough sense, a new distinctive breed name with it's own breeding standards is useful but you need to get that info to the people looking for a cat that might not be that knowledgeable about cat breeds. Siamese is one few cat breeds that normies know about, although some do think that any cat with cream body but dark face, legs and tail is siamese.

Ethical breeders will typically also have a waitlist of over a year if not two, and to a lot of people the idea of waiting that long for a dog is just insane if they can go on craigslist and pick up a puppy tomorrow.

I wish there were such a thing as ethical breeders for rabbits (still prefer adopting but it's the sentiment and care for them). I don't think there ever could be because of how prolifically they breed anyway; there's already too many since a lot of people don't fix their rabbits and issues with "feral" rabbit colonies from people releasing them. PL but I love my rabbits and I keep getting ads for rabbit breeding since easter is coming up. A lot of breeder ads saying they make great gifts for kids. Definitely not the case, they're delicate and need a ton of space. But they're really smart and cool pets.
Proper rabbit care is on an uptick from what I can tell but I don't know if it'll catch on since it's associated with weird "my pet is my child" types. When I adopted my first rabbit I was looking at them on craigslist and just tons of people getting rid of baby rabbits because it was too much along with hoards of breeders. My first rabbit just needed to be rehomed and I'm glad I picked him up; apparently his first owner got him for cheap because he was an undesirable color (grey but not "blue" minirex?? I don't get it). I don't really understand the breeding of pets that don't serve purposes like a dog (retrieving/protection) outside of aesthetics and that seems really selfish. Like yeah some rabbits have different temperments, my two do, but it doesn't seem breed specific like dogs. Then again a lot of these overbred dogs don't serve a purpose outside of clout, massive medical bills, and horror stories
