I wasn't a fan of Monoe, but as someone who likes Pika and TMSK, hearing both of their reactions to that hurt my soul.

I don’t watch Nijis, so I couldn’t tell you about the livers’ reaction to Lulu leaving, but Manoe was terminated immediately almost exactly like Rushia was, only the reaction from the other two was emotionally charged. Meaning that yes, she fucked up horribly in some manner, but also that the decision wasn’t exactly accepted by her genmates.

For Lulu it was mostly just standard "we're sad to see her leave, but wish her the best" stuff. Lulu wasn't terminated, she graduated normally.
Meiro would be a closer comparison to Rushia. IIRC there was some more outwards sympathy towards Meiro, mostly because she had pulled roped in a few other livers into her menhera stuff.

IMO there response are fine, other members had talked about how there thing you vent to your friend and not tye internet, for all we know Flare and friends were tweeting this while crying their eyes out, it's the mature thing to do not to air you emotion to estrangers on the web

From the sound of things, Rushia turned a molehill into a mountain entirely through her own actions. I believe it wasn't her fault when things started, but I completely believe that she exacerbated the situation immediately and with great force. You don't have to be a genius to understand that she is a very emotionally fragile girl who tends to mildly overreact to even the smallest of things. After two years and seven months, she should have known better.

Maybe she would've been Graduated anyway. But Coco shows that an amicable separation and smooth transition to solo activity is completely possible and reasonable. But it seems like she just couldn't shut the fuck up and properly leverage her incredibly advantageous situation while she had the chance. Now everyone loses.

I'm sympathetic, but not very much so. I hope she goes on to have a great career and a great life. But this really, really feels like a 'it's your fault, darling' moment.

the thing you'd have to consider, that same emotionally fragile girl got kicked out pretty hard. call me a concernfag, but even the most well adjusted person doesn't take a blow like that easily.

one reason the people are still miffed about the whole aloe situation was that cover could've handled it better, and the same could apply here. they could've put her on hiatus till after the expo and then still fire her with an empty PR notice, even if they are in their full right. it would at least have been better PR and less short sighted, let's just say I hope this graduation is the worst that's gonna happen and will indeed lead to a great career and life.

Yeah it was kinda fucked that Pikamee of all people was one of the ones to break the news to the wider english speaking community since she pretty much the star of VOMs, all the more fucked since Monoe had become viral along with TMSK barely weeks before with some minecraft clips of them saying "ho" in english

So as for reactions to graduations/terminations, we have the following to draw from: Hitomi Chris (unpersoned, terminated, until now the only example of a Holo termination), Mano Aloe (graduated), CN branch (unpersoned, graduated), Jitomi Manoe (unpersoned, terminated), Kiryu Coco (graduated with full honors), Suzuhara Lulu (graduated).

For Aloe and Coco, the reaction(s) from their genmates and others were emotional - sadness, regret, etc.

I think I'm going to keep trusting the fox a bit longer, I'll be keeping an eye on two things though.
Firstly it will being interesting to see if we have any voluntary graduations in response to this, that would indicate not all is well.
Second will be if/when she gets a new vtuber 'life' whether she collabs with Kson or not, if she does come back and the dragon ignores her then I think that would indicate that there may be a lot more negative aspects to her actions than we know.

I think Monoe's termination is easier to be sad about then Rushia potentially giving out dox info to outsiders. We will see, maybe if notRushia streams with KSON we can know that members still support her.
