I'm trying to imagine what the field is even going to be like for the Dems in 2024 and I can't stop laughing. The party is so fucked, if you are in five degrees of separation from this administration you might as well call it a career.

I'm not one for hyperbole on Presidential rankings but Biden is probably going to be rated as a bottom five President when all is said and done.

China couldn't take Taiwan if they wanted to, even if the U.S. for some reason didn't get involved. They don't have the tech for the logistical nightmare such an invasion would be.

A lot of people forget that Taiwan is an incredibly mountainous island country with most of it's beaches leading into >60° inclines going up mountainsides. China can't even make an aircraft carrier that doesn't have it's flight deck nearly level with the water, it's not exactly a pressing concern.

He's already done in one year what took Carter 4, and the remaining guys on the list either a) got impeached and removed from office, b) died a month into his term, c) let a civil war break out, or d) had legendarily corrupt administrations.

Add to that Carter is atleast decent human being despite being disaster as president.

When the comparisons between the two of them started ramping up, I read a few Carter biographies. Apparently him being a confrontational "my way or the highway" prick is a big part of why he couldn't get anything done in office.
(the other part was standard deep state screeching about outsiders trying to change how things were done, same as Trump faced)
