I have similar opinions. I'll be the first to dunk on Biden, but there's not anything he really can or should do. The only thing, in my opinion, which could have prevented this would be to have had American/NATO forces in Ukraine before this happened. That said, it's evident they didn't want to prevent this given the weeks long warnings we had.
All Biden had to do was issue a statement saying Ukraine wouldn't join Nato. That's it. Instead he tried playing hardball and the Russians called his bluff so now instead of a neutral Ukraine as a buffer state, Russian forces are closer to Western Europe.

Is this real? got a link?
And potentially cause WW3 and a nuclear war? I doubt they'd go all in, and of course it's a very very risky thing to do. A lot of what ifs and what nots.
Nobody will launch a nuke over Ukraine, even if nato went into that country the russians are not gonna nuke them until they cross into their territory, and even then the odds are it will only happen if shit really gets real and moscow's about to fall since even the craziest russians are not going to commit suicide over a M1 abrams running over a lada.

Remember when turkey downed a russian helicopter in syria? and when a turkish bodyguard killed the russian embassador? remind me how many nukes ankara got for that.

Um ya actually it's called Trump withdrawing from NATO so Ukraine isn't our fucking problem (still shouldn't be because they aren't in nato anyways LOL) Fuck Ukraine, I feel bad for the people suffering but starting a world conflict over this is the real mistake.
Lol you think US withdrawing from NATO would prevent this?

What are you blathering on about? Why do you think I'm "Republican" (I'm not a yank), or that I "Love Russia"?

The fact remains that under Orange Man Russia did not invade The Ukraine, but now under Slow Joe they have done. You Democrats really are retarded and can't admit when your guy fucked up, this is absolutely pathetic and I hope you're actually trolling.
You're a A&H defending Trump and Russia, you're definitely a Republican, son.

And yes, if Trump were still president, he would've. Saying "Trump did prevent it" is like saying Woodrow Wilson prevented WWII

Problem is under Trump there wouldn't have been any overtures to Ukraine joining NATO. He was trying to dismantle it. The main justification for this has been Russia's red line on Ukraine joining NATO. Could he come up with a different casus belli, probably, but you shouldn't just give him one on a silver platter.

So no, I don't believe this happens under Trump because I don't think Trump does stupid shit to give Putin a reason to invade.
I'm not an american and know about the fourth option: Stop NATO's sabre rattling. This shit could have to be postpone/never happen if Biden have continued Trump police with NATO.
Fair enough - I do remember Trump complaining about NATO. Maybe Trump would've tried to disband or reduce NATO. However, there's the possibility that a weakened NATO would just embolden Russia. They've wanted eastern Ukraine for a while and they took Crimea before Ukraine was making NATO overtures.

Having stronger nato presence in Ukraine would have escalated this because of you believe Russian state media they say that they are worried about nato surrounding Russia, insinuating that they are going to invade Russia or something. And also Putin demanded Ukraine not join nato. So unless you’re saying hope you can beat Russia in nuclear war I don’t get this.
Ukraine potentially joining NATO isn't the cause, what it was is the Excuse. Which is something that a lot of people who think Biden had nothing to do with this aren't getting as they point to the root causes.

Putin needed an excuse to wage an unjust war of aggression. There was not one he could latch onto and -no prospects for one-.

Then Bidens admin pushed hard for Ukraine to join NATO, and handed Putin an excuse on a platter.

I gotta post this because its too fucking good. its from 2014 but still

What’s more likely is Russia would start targeting US satellites and throw the world back several decades that way.

No. America can let Europe go and live in fairy tale fantasy pixie unicorn land right up until the Eastern Axis takes over everything and comes for you next eventually.
what eastern axis? The US cant leave Europe alone because they need to keep germany in line with the globohomo agenda. germany getting moe neutral would be a massive problem for the Us since germany controlls about 1/3rd of Natos industrial production.

biden is a shit stained covered zombie at this point. His handlers were playing hardball because their head is so far up their ass they throw temper tantrums when they don't get exactly what they want. How nice of the media to cover up his piece of shit son was taking money from Oligarchs in the Ukraine though.

What do you think made Putin decide to invade at this time instead a few years ago? Maybe he was just waiting for the right moment which wouldn't surprise me at all.

He didn't, though. He couldn't have because he wasn't president. All he's done now is show support for it and calling it a "Genius" move. So yeah, it would've happened only Trump would be defending it. And of course you Republicans are okay with it because Trump told you to love Russia
Someone burning off all their fingerprints, setting up an airtight alibi, and sticking another persons fingerprints all over the scene of a murder they perpetrated is also a genius move. Calling something smart doesn't mean liking what happens as a result of it. Jesus Christ what is it with people thinking any kind of praise of anything means you are a fucking ally of that person.
