Biden's remarks which were originally scheduled for 12:30PM EST and were then pushed back an hour have been pushed back again.

Heard nothing from the UN as a whole but the UK (and Boris in particular) seems to be pressing for serious sanctions, more serious than what anyone else in Europe or the US is putting forth so far.
Why is BoJo pushing so strongly for this anyway? Are the Tories that desperate to escape the stench of their failed (and hypocritical) COVID policies?

Guys calm down, it's over for Russia. Boris "suck on my" Johnson and the United Cuckolds are going to sanction Russia really hard and that'll solve everything. Gonna teach them commies not to to start a warerino.
Boris just said they're going to cancel a soccer game that was scheduled to be played in St Peterdburgh.
He said Vlad loves soccer
We've got em on the run now.

this isnt going as well for the Russians as they thought. The Ukrainian airforce still has local superiority over the capitol. Protests against the war in Belarus and Russia in multiple cites. multiple Russian planes shotdown (including 2 of their most advanced attack helicopters), and several videos of destroyed/captured Russian columns. some of the videos seem to show aftermath of close quarter battle with armor from both sides. i saw one with a ukrainian APC and Russian APC where they both destroyed eachother withing 30m. situation remains dire for ukraine.

Rumor on some Russian nationalist/conspiracy sites is that Putin intend to seize some of the oiligarchs wealth to pay for the war. take a grain of salt with that tho

Boris works alongside a lot of people who really, really needed Ukraine to remain the laundering center of the world.

Which just got fucked sideways.

How's it a bad comparison other than the fact it makes you upset I destroyed your retarded argument?
It shows a lack of historical knowledge for one. It shows a lack of common sense, too. Trump is the puppet? So you think Putin is dumb enough to NOT take advantage of a situation like that?

But by all means, keep destroying your credibility by posting these nonsense takes. It's rather enjoyable.

I don't want war and I don't like war. I support Ukraine's right to defend it's self until it's a radioactive wastland with 10 million Russian dead. But please Western leftoids/ziocons, stop the moral fagging. You wanted to invade Syria, Libia, Irak, the Stans etc. You support Kosovo so be fucking consisten and don't wag that moralising finger, spergs.

This is the most bullshit answer and the one Putin is counting on, but that's probably what we should do.

Change the hypothetical a bit. Imagine we got in some dispute with Mexico and decided some chunk of their country bordering us actually belonged to us and we were taking it.

No matter how ludicrous, insane, or obviously illegal our claims were, do you imagine China or Russia actually shipping over troops to fight us over it directly?

The US taking part of Mexico doesnt give it further power projection towards Russia or China. That isnt really a comparable scenario.
