We know full well the reasons why Hitler invaded Poland at that time, primarily because of Molotov-Ribbentrop pact and Russia agreeing to be a co-belligerent in the invasion, but also because they're military was rapidly growing/advancing during the intervening years and had finally reached a point where they felt France and the UK could be dealt with if they put up anything other than a token response.

What circumstances have changed that made this the perfect time ?

Is the Russian military more capable, Europe more dependent on natural gas imports, or fronts in the separatist areas changed to a significant degree since Trump first got into office or any time during His term ?
