To everyone who is worried or knows some retard who is worried about the draft, let us look at it.
First of all, this is what must be reached for a draft to occur.
- Congress and the president authorize a draft: The president claims a crisis has occurred which requires more troops than the volunteer military can supply. Congress passes and the president signs legislation which revises the Military Selective Service Act to initiate a draft for military manpower.
- The lottery: A lottery based on birthdays determines the order in which registered men are called up by Selective Service. The first to be called, in a sequence determined by the lottery, will be men whose 20th birthday falls during the calendar year the induction takes place, followed, if needed, by those aged 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 19 and 18 year olds (in that order).
- All parts of the Selective Service System are activated: The agency activates and orders its state directors and Reserve Force officers to report for duty.
- Physical, mental and moral evaluation of registrants: Registrants with low lottery numbers receive examination orders and are ordered to report for a physical, mental, and moral evaluation at a military entrance processing station (MEPS) to determine whether they are fit for military service. Once he is notified of the results of the evaluation, a registrant will be given 10 days to file a claim for exemption, postponement, or deferment.
- Local and appeal boards activated and induction notices sent: Local and appeal boards will begin processing registrant claims/appeals. Those who passed the military evaluation will receive induction orders. An inductee will have 10 days to report to a local MEPS for induction.
- First draftees are inducted: According to current plans, Selective Service must deliver the first inductees to the military within 193 days from the onset of a crisis.
That first part I bolded is the death sentence.

Warrant Officers: 1,888 (140% of 1,347 goal)

Chaplains: 356 (108% of 330 goal)

THE MILITARY DOESN'T WANT CONSCRIPTS!
Conscripts are stupid, lazy, unmotivated, hard to train, and incompetent.
This isn't the King James time. Hell, it isn't even The 'Nam with McNamara's Retards.
The modern military is complex as shit, and it's easier than fuck to get thrown out. No longer is it "Hand the retard the rifle and put him on the line." It hasn't been for 40 fucking years.
Infantry and other line slime jobs are complex as fuck, and as much as the line slime faggots like to fuck with REMFs, the critical REMF jobs require dedication, skill, training, motivation, and most of all, you have to work your ass off, even in peace time when the infantry is picking up cigarettes and the tankers are jerking off to loli porn.
You need the guy next to you to WANT to be there, to know, at least in the back of his head, that he volunteered for this shit.
There's a SHITLOAD of training that goes on beyond SHARP and DIE briefings. You need people who will pay attention, who WANT to know this shit, who are motivated to learn it and learn it well.
A conscript is a retard who is trying to escape as soon as he can.
You can't trust him.
Nobody in modern military WANTS a draft, because there's enough retards in the service and we can't ask the crayon eating ballsweat huffing Marines to take all of them.
It would be cheaper to offer better signup bonuses then to start the draft, and less political suicide.
Finally, the real problem isn't the draft.
It's how much of military operations have been turned over to civilians who are not going to go any where near a real war.
But no, neither you nor that retard screeching on Tik Tok while dancing with a dragon dildo shoved in their ass are getting drafted.
