They are also leaving alone most of the infrastructure. Power, telecommunications, public works, etc.

Not sure what that means. Either they are, in a massive change, avoiding going heavy-handed. Or they are planning to stay and don't want to wreck their new shit.
Yeah I think it's curious how we're still watching live streams and cell phone videos of all this 24 hours in. And Ukraine apparently still has electricity and comms in spite of some maps I've seen of power plants portrayed as strike zones. I can only assume this is intentional.

It's why I think a lot of politisperg's optimism that US would lose a war against China/Russia is misplaced.
Weapons and equipment don't mean a thing when moral is in the trash and western moral does not exist atm. A lot of people hate their governments and their governments hate them. The way I see, right now it's who wants the Win more and China and Russia want it way way more.

Take Germany as an example they've been actively putting their national sovereignty at risk against Russian by wrecking their energy production, you can't win a fight with judas like that in offices who sell out their defense for shekels. Thank fuck for eastern Europe, they actually want to go for a win.

As much as they dunk on each other Ukrainians and Russians are the same people. If you speak one language not only can you understand the other, you can communicate too, which is really unusual. It's hard to do war crimes on folks that are just like you. Not that it can't or won't happen, just that I'm not surprised they're being careful with civilians.

The people in charge of Ukraine, that's another issue entirely.
Man you gotta point but how do I break it to you: Serbian and Croatian are literally the same language just spelled out with two different alphabets.

And you know how that worked out.
