After two days of fighting, I wanted to summarize my thoughts real quick, because with every passing moment I start to fall deeper and deeper into the camp that suspects Russia is wiping the floor with Ukraine and the retards in Kiev (Why the fuck are we spelling it Kyiv now?) refuse to acknowledge it.
If you believe the Ukrainian Army, they've held the line everywhere. There's been entire armored columns destroyed, they've shot down ten gorrillion Russian jets, they have full air superiority over Kiev, they took back the airport outside Kiev without much trouble, and they're well on their way to winning the war by Christmas. Except if this were the case, why in ten fucks are they unloading crates of AK47s all over Kiev for any random gopnik with an index finger and a hangover to use to take up the Glorious Defense of Kiev with? If they're winning so hard, why the fuck are they blowing up their own infrastructure to deny the Russians access to Kiev? Why is it that the security forces in Russia who raid thot offices look more squared away than the supposed elite airborne special forces that held an airport deep behind enemy lines that Ukraine supposedly captured? If Ukraine is winning, why are they begging foreign veterans to drive on down to Lviv and sign up for the AK47 Brigade? Why are they scrounging up every grandpa and high schooler from Mariupol to Lviv if the Ukrainian Army truly are Brave and Honest Good Boys?
Furthermore, where the fuck are all these Javelins that western powers handed out? I'm seeing crates of decrepit AKMs, but no Javelins that were supposed to be lining every roadside and painting Russian tanks blue and yellow. Which Ukie oligarch or corrupt general sold those off for an escape fund?
The Russians have been treating the Ukrainian populace with kid gloves so far. Have there been retarded air strikes and shells landing in civilian areas? Yeah, of course there has, but there's been no evidence that the Russians are deliberately targeting rando civilians for ethnic genocide. So far it seems like you'll get less hassle out of a convoy of armed Russians when you're filming them than you would trying to film New York Police Department. Thots have gone up screaming and cussing at Russian soldiers, they've been loitering around destroyed vehicles filming with arms still inside, driving around the Russians willy-nilly, and even purposely trying to get themselves run over by the Russians - the response? Nothing. For all the hit lists, the genocide, the ethnic cleansing the Russians are supposed to be doing, they aren't doing it.
But if you give every retard in Kiev an AK and tell him to go out and take pot-shots at Russians, how quickly do you think that will change? The next Russian who sees a Ukrainian with something in his hand won't take time to figure out if its a camera or a pistol, he's just going to shoot him and be done with it. The Ukrainian Government is essentially using their own people at this point as cannon fodder to goad the Russians into fighting and killing civilians and they are fucking doing it on purpose.
The Ukrainians are doing every-fucking-thing they can to get NATO involvement. They know that if photos of dozens of dead Ukies in civvie clothes get released that the west will go apeshit over muh russian genocide. And what's worse? The retards and fags in our government and on Reddit will cheer for these dumbasses to go out and get themselves killed in order to try and goad the west into intervening.
Look, fuck the Russians, this is their fault, too. I'll be honest and say my personal feelings lend me to being more compassionate to Ukraine's troubles than Russia's, but they're at fault for this retarded bullshit war as well. The real losers here are your average Ukrainian, who will probably wind up getting shot, because some commissar in the Ukrainian Army is going to make him wear a bandana on his arm and shoot at a bunch of BTR80s with an AK. If the Ukrainian Government cared about their people at-fucking-all, they would enter into legitimate and earnest talks with the Russians for a surrender of some sort - even if that be unconditional. We can tell they don't give a shit, because there is literally zero fuck-all effort on the behalf of the Ukrainian government to evacuate Kiev. And why should they? They need the civilian populace there to tamper Russian resolve to turn them into giblets. For as much as they're saying that the Russians are going to execute everyone, they sure are relying on the Russians' good will to not bomb Ukrainian civilians into the stone age.
Could the Ukies be winning and we've all got this wrong? Sure. But it doesn't fucking look like they're winning, does it?
