There's no fucking way NATO would allow Poland to be attacked. The reason this bullshit even occurred was just to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO. If there were already in it, it wouldn't be happening.
Read Russia's military doctrine 2010. They had already outlined several precursors to engage with NATO directly, in the case of the Russian state feeling threatened by the former. The entire idea is to basically be able to steam-roll the former satellite states and then hold the world at nuclear gunpoint.

Nah

Hi guys I'm back. My take as someone who has a food track record of predictions so far:

- Russia isn't doing as well as they hoped but they're not doing badly
- russia has committed only 50% of its troops and only a fraction of its strategic resources (cruise/ballistic missiles and the like) so far
- so looks like they're going for slow & steady rather than a blitz
- why? Is the question, and it does seem they are trying to minimise casualties, both civilian and military, which suggests they are trying to minimise international reaction and Ukrainian resentment in the upcoming occupation
- Ukraine is trying to make up for all its deficiencies with an extreme propaganda push and manufactured hero stories. It is not a sign of strength.
- Ukraine is blowing up a lot of bridges which won't be too effective because one thing the Russian army invests a lot of resources into and historically has been very good at is fording operations
- Ukraine's decision to give ak-47s and Molotov to any random gopnik who shows an interest is not going to be militarily useful as they are, as we are already seeing, just as likely to shoot each other and regular Ukrainian soldiers as the Russians. Agree with assessment that its to encourage Russian troops to start lighting up civvies
- so looks like grand plan for each side is: Russia intends slow and steady occupation keeping infrastructure intact and civilian resentment and international condemnation low; Ukraine knows they are lost so all efforts are into encouraging international intervention (which neatly parallels what the Russians are trying to avoid showing leadership on both sides have come to same conclusion on what determines victory)

Also an interesting thought experiment: after this current unpleasantness is over, Russia lines up all these troops against the Baltics and Poland and says sanction end or war. How do you think the Western elite will react to being called on their bullshit?

Who cares. Shit is fucked.

It is a fucking shit show and it will only get worse from here.

Empty bluff. Same trick doesn't work twice, especially when all the missiles have been launched and sanctions have raped the tech sector for producing more fancy slavshit. Also I'd say that Putin declaring war on NATO is completely against his interests. Instead of going against a relatively internationally isolated country who he can outmatch one on one, he'd be painting a target on every hole from multiple directions and going "please fuck me here." He's not a retard, he knows how that ends even without nukes involved somehow.
"Thought experiment" is another signal to stop reading

You know, Russia really shouldn't be worried about NATO because it isn't like they're accomplishing anything. Same with the UN.
This whole situation is proving how incompetent they both are.
This is happening in no small part because NATO is desperate to prove that it's still relevant and deserves to continue existing. Instead, they bumbled into a war and proved that it's not and it doesn't.

It's the daily mail. Their stance on Russia before any if this even happened is Putin is Hitler and we should conscript every millennial and send them to die fighting Russia. Of course they're going to speculate all sorts of "this is how Russia can be even more evil" nonsense.

Not gonna disagree with you bud. Just putting the information out there. Not personally endorsing it myself.

They go on about Hitler all the time, like it happened last week. If only it did but only to the DM.
