"Close fighting between Ukrainian forces and the Russian army near Ivankov, Kiev region. An Ukrainian soldier is seen with a British NLAW anti-tank missile system. Lots of destroyed Russian military equipment."

Next up: WE CALL ON CITIZENS TO PAINT FAKE TUNNELS ON WALLS TO CONFUSE THE ENEMY.
It works considering they are already on video asking for directions. The russian mechanized infantry seem to be issued with 24x Fuck and 3x All each and they definitely don't have The equivalent of blufor tracking on the average man. Getting them lost seems silly but it opens up holes in their line, makes them go to the wrong objective, or gets them to vastly overextend and get lost in JAVELIN TOWN, UKRAINE

It bothers me that posts like this don't link sources but the Russian Ministry of Defense is claiming that US drones were loitering over a naval fight and they believe the drones were used to direct Ukrainian forces.

This should be expected

If we can’t fight, we can spy.

And this is exactly why Putin will escalate to a new form of warfare…..

He’s going to blast our sattelites out of orbit soon

When did this happen? As far as I know, Ukrain didn't want to join NATO until Russia annexed Crimea.
Not openly but the US was pushing for it. Hence their actions in 2014 which led to Russains taking Crimea.
I guess it was a big mistake thinking that Russia is different from USSR on their part, but hindsight is 20/20.
How you run a country never really changes. Even when the people running it swear it has.
Because NATO is not "expanding". Countries are freely joining it. Do you not realize the difference between forcing a countries to enter in an agreement and countries freely entering in an agreement? If USA would have pointed guns at us and threatened deportation to some deserts in USA, then yeah, I would call that "NATO expansion", but that's not what happened
I don’t realise the difference because the end goal is still the same. West expanding. The carrot and the stick are just two different methods of getting the same result
Funny, because that is what I wrote in my 1st post in this thread.
If so, my bad. But the bit I initially responded to seemed to suggested they’d stopped going down the road the USSR was on and could get off the path. They couldn’t.
The only difference being that, for some reason, you think that Russias past actions are a legitimate reason for its current actions. Could you explain in more detail why being an aggressive forceful expansionist country in the past, then having the annexed countries leaving and joining a defensive alliance legitimizes more aggressive forceful expansion?
From a country perspective, they have no choice. They’ve got guns pointed at them from all sides. They can either get crushed or fight desperately not to be. Or be like Germany and end up leading the group designed to stop them. And well, the latter was never going to happen.
You just posted that it was promised to Russia that some countries would not be allowed to join NATO. Which is it?
It depends what is agreed upon. I kind of don’t want the side the claims moral superiority publicly to be secret scumfucks.

It's all Russian military vehicles, Ukraine uses all old Russian military vehicles from the 70s and 80s with some upgrades, Russia is using their B team vehicles from the 80s that they've upgraded (better than Ukraine has upgraded their 40 year old vehicles)

For the record SWIFT is the one of the main reasons the dollar is still the reserve currency, it's how the US gets to punish people economically. If there is ever an alternative to SWIFT the US and the UN lose a lot of threatening power.

Forcing one to be created is a very, very bad idea for their interest imo.
I have seen SWIFT used to punish people economically, such as disabled and woman's rights activist Russell Greer. The worst part about SWIFT is the lack of disclaimers. This causes reasonable, well-minded people to improperly transfer and invest their money with no return. We absolutely need a new system, one that puts disabled people first.

Disclaimer: this user (Cilleystring) has zero fucking idea what they're talking about

That could so easily escalate to nuclear war, I could see that being a downside.
Let's see. Russia has:

1. Made a veiled threat to down the ISS over China, India, US, or Europe
2. Lay down retaliation the likes of which "history has never seen before"
3. Vetoed the UN vote on retracting his forces
4. Invited Belarus, Kazakhstan, and the Chechens to fight
5. Shown he is completely willing to disobey any and all international sanctions, contraventions, and rules of war.

It could go nuclear. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility for Russia to nuke a smaller nation that intervenes, but invoking the wrath of every NATO nation in total nuclear war would destroy the world. I think Russia controls a lot of oil that the world depends on and has every intention of using that against the West.

Putin is a strategist, to the best of my knowledge, not a reckless idiot. When it comes to nuclear war, you have to ask yourself: does the nation in question really want to vaporize the entire world? Because that's exactly what will happen. Russia is really good at being scary and making threats. I don't think it'll add up to anything. I'm not sure what he would do to show he isn't fucking around, but these threats alone are enough to make NATO think twice before intervening in any meaningful way.

People actually believe in the ukrainian bullshit claims?
Not really here, but everywhere else. A lone Mig-29 took on six jets in an airspace that's almost completely controlled by russians, and wasn't shot down. Ukrainians inflicting heavy lossses on russians. Their tanks getting btfo. THOUSANDS of dead. And not a single proof of that. And people swallow that shit, why?
I have a photo of the guy jet, so damn right I believe it!

Any attempt to bring up the reason is shouted down by the bugmen horde. Ukraine has done nothing but smile and sit quietly since 1993 apparently
Everyone knows what Russia's rationale was, it's just not justification to invade a country unprovoked. Choosing a non-puppet government and fliriting with joining a defensive pact is not justification for ending a country, and no stormfag autism is going to change that.
