I disagree obviously, I think this opportunity was an exercise of them using a different tactical strategy to achieve strategic goals and it appears to be going well. If he wanted to throw bodies at it, that could have happened, this whole thing from the start has been based in precision cuts(according to the general story that's been coming out) and not chopping sections off.

But I could be wrong, it's what it looks like to me.
It’s the casualties that are the problem. Yes they’re making gains, but if you compare it to US operations this is amateur hour.

We should see Desert Storm tier numbers, not Russia getting a bloody nose.

People actually believe in the ukrainian bullshit claims?
Not really here, but everywhere else. A lone Mig-29 took on six jets in an airspace that's almost completely controlled by russians, and wasn't shot down. Ukrainians inflicting heavy lossses on russians. Their tanks getting btfo. THOUSANDS of dead. And not a single proof of that. And people swallow that shit, why?
Unfortunately yes. Ukrainians are lucky no one in the West can read Cyrillic and know the differences between scripts.
Oh so much propaganda being thrown out right now no use posting it

LOL NOW THERES A COUP IN BELARUS SURE REDDIT
Who couped, that fat bitch who 'won' the election there?
Defenders of the 'Snake Island' who surrendered into Russian captivity - as claimed by the Russian Ministry of Defence. These are the guys Ukraine said were defiant and were obliterated by the Russians as a result.

How long until retards accuse Russia of faking propaganda while eating up whatever shit Ukraine spews out next?

There's obviously no way to know for sure, but it more seems like Russia is just restraining themselves to avoid blowing up buildings and infra. Ukraine can fire all the artillery they want from inside of cities into the outskirts where the Russians are. If Russians do the same they level an apartment complex or powerplant. There's a huge handicap

I swear, they are going to end up killing a lot of their own citizens just because they are believed to be "saboteurs".
It makes me wonder if Russia has been doing something to suggest the presence of saboteurs in order to trigger this outcome. Ukraine wants to provoke Russia into attacking civilians, hence the volkssturm approach. This could be seen as a counterstrategy on Russia's part: generate viral videos of Ukrainians getting killed by lynch mobs of their own countrymen to create propaganda against them.

Russia blitzed the 22nd military in the world, a military comparable to Germanys and is seiging the capital in 3 days sending in less than a 3rd of their army and doing it with fairly minimal casualties on their side plus Ukrainian civilians without spending months bombing the shit out of the important military and defensive locations Ukraine has.

Anybody looking at this like Russia is fucking up or not doing an effective job seriously needs to stop relying on video games to determine anything in the real world.
This is some cringey af cope

This is 100% Russia fucking up and not doing an effective job, they could have encircled Kiev on day one with armored columns and total air supremacy coming down both sides of the Dnieper if they used their first rate troops and equipment. Ukraine army wasn't all called up and in position despite having weeks to get ready and still they've fought well

All Russia has been effective at is proving they have a lot of second rate soldiers and equipment fighting for the motherland

Casualties on whose side? Idk the actual numbers for either, but if you think we should be seeing more casualties on the Ukranian side I don't think that's the goal. War is politics by other means and Putins political goal is to get a goverment friendly to Russia in charge of Ukraine. Killing a bunch of Ukrainians doesn't help with that goal. I don't think the goal is maximum casualties.

If the problem is Russians high casualty numbers, idk what those are or any accurate estimate, but fair enough.

Oh nooooo which propaganderino I should trust? This is so heckin confusing, help meee :(.

There is lot of bullshit from both sides, I would not be surprised if most of them are lies. It is war after all, this is expected.

Aye, the losses aren't horrendous or back-breaking for them, but they are... I think 'sloppy' is the best word here. Too many small and simple mistakes. Recoverable, but absolutely unnecessary and adding up.

Seems the initial assault went well, but their armies lack of experience caught up to them fast when it slowed down.

With Pornhub cut off, Russia needs its own BangBus.
I think they will be good.

Let's see. Russia has:

1. Made a veiled threat to down the ISS over China, India, US, or Europe
2. Lay down retaliation the likes of which "history has never seen before"
3. Vetoed the UN vote on retracting his forces
4. Invited Belarus, Kazakhstan, and the Chechens to fight
5. Shown he is completely willing to disobey any and all international sanctions, contraventions, and rules of war.

It could go nuclear. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility for Russia to nuke a smaller nation that intervenes, but invoking the wrath of every NATO nation in total nuclear war would destroy the world. I think Russia controls a lot of oil that the world depends on and has every intention of using that against the West.

Putin is a strategist, to the best of my knowledge, not a reckless idiot. When it comes to nuclear war, you have to ask yourself: does the nation in question really want to vaporize the entire world? Because that's exactly what will happen. Russia is really good at being scary and making threats. I don't think it'll add up to anything. I'm not sure what he would do to show he isn't fucking around, but these threats alone are enough to make NATO think twice before intervening in any meaningful way.
Yeah my bad, I misread his post as saying NATO should fire missiles at major Russian cities to pacify them.

“Sloppy” is the best way to put it.
If Russia thinks this is acceptable, it’s going to get its shit pushed in by NATO when the time comes.
