It's almost better to have a generalized business degree with a minor now than to go into something like marketing. Even if you're paying them $200K the kid with a working knowledge that knows excel/some SQL can easily cut a lot of bloat out of an organization. If you've got even a semi-modern ERP solution you can go from website order to delivery without any human administration for ~95% of orders. That's off the shelf with maybe $10K in integration. Bigger ecommerce players are usually concerned with how many 9s after the decimal point they can get these days. Even then exceptions can usually be rapidly triaged too. 85% are one-click solutions. Another 10% usually involves manually doing one or two processes, and the remainder will account for the fixer's time.

The real value isn't in doing or making something, it is in manifesting something that does or makes something else better than the current market. In this case, wrangling a productive kitchen's worth of personnel.

Thing is, it worked. Asian Americans/western Asians imo are among some of the most politically illiterate groups in the west. Part of it being this weird attempt to have some kind of unifying "Asian" identity, when practically, that's not the case.

Cultural issues and viewpoints that Chinese Americans might have differ from say... Vietnamese Americans. They don't have any truly unifying common goal like you would see amongst blacks, mexicans or lgbt+ group and therefore, little political capital. They have no real binding objective that politicians can get them hooked on nor is there any real need for them to court the Asians. Add in the large number of them that climb the education ladder into further education, and they start buying into all these "anti white points".

They are Schrodinger's minority. Not liked or captured by politicians since they don't fit, until they need to use them as a bludgeoning stick for pro progressive policies, then they become a coveted minority. A lot of them are NPCs to the max. News says whites are killing Asians, must be true.
