What is the situation with the peace talks? From what I have gathered so far, Ukraine has wavered between "we are ready to negotiate" and withdrawing the proposition in the next hour several times already. Thoughts?

Pics and videos suggest to me that Russian losses in combat have been RELATIVELY manageable. But I'm still left with a few things that seem particularly bad for the Russians. Namely destroyed and abandoned convoys. We had two destroyed columns of trucks near Kherson, and on top of that we've seen I think 3 or 4 abandoned convoys, including one that was of GRAD artillery instead of just supply trucks. Thoughts?

Yeah, it seems like there are quite a bit of convoys that are being deserted by Russian troops. Then again, that's what you see on Twitter and on the front page of r/combatfootage, so it's very likely biased towards the Ukie side.

When you pay attention to the Russian telegrams (e.g. @milinfolive, @voynareal, @istorijaoruzija, @ugolok_sitha), you realize that there is as much footage of Ukrainian vehicles getting abandoned and captured as there are Russian ones, and almost as much pictures of dead Ukie soldiers too

Despite this balance, my money is still on the Russians. Besides, if you're a country that finds itself giving troops weapons to civilians in order to form militias, it's probably a sign that your professional military is not in good shape.

Not happening until Zelensky is vanned. Putin has explicitly said there will be no ceasefire without Ukrainian surrender.

But sides are flirting with each other in a non-serious way. Neither has much interest at the moment.

Ukraine is definitely taking casualties and losing ground but at the same I don't think Russia is progressing as fast as they would of liked. As for the civilians being given weapons while not really a good sign, they could be trying to get as prepared for partisan warfare as soon as possible.

The M-1 has problems like needing extensive refurbishment after getting in contact with sand.
the gun is also outdated and cant be upgraded any further because the tank design is bad.
😂 I pray we see the day where the M1A2 can help a bunch modernized Soviet junk disassemble itself. You're dreaming if you even think it's close. They'd honestly do better with a bunch of suicide Kornet teams.
