Over 48 hours to take the largest country in Europe.
Total failure
Big issue is all reports and video has shown that the Russians are already suffering from major logistical issues, they had the initiative and they're already suffering from convoys of vehicles out of gas in day 3 of the war. If losing Kyiv doesn't cause Ukraine to fold taking the more western parts will be hell for them.

No. There is no vote at all.

There would be a declaration by a NATO member that they had been attacked and
then other NATO members would make an individual decision as to how they would
assist that member being attacked.

There is a great deal of misinformation in the press about Article 5. There are people
floating the idea that the US could go to war with Russia under article 5 based
on "Cyberattacks" on some NATO member. These people are basically finishing
for a theoretical way the US could go to war without having a choice or having
any kind of normal process associated with it.

Certain people are searching for ways that Joe Biden could simply declare the
country at war with Russia without a public debate or any of the usual
nonsense. The idea of "cyberattacks" being equal to a military attack
is the true innovation they are discussing.
True. Thanks for the clarification. Here’s the Article.

When Russia chooses to mount their all out offense it will be something I highly doubt we will know in advance it will just happen.

Really hope they don't go balls deep into Kiev, but idk what else the plan is after they've encircled the city. I guess they could do medieval warfare and just cut off food shipments and electricity until the government surrenders. That would be bad, but all the other scenarios look worse.

Referring to a former president by "President" is the norm. "Former president" is some bullshit made up by Fox News to rub it in to Obama.

Fox News must've stolen the term from Homer Simpson who invented it decades prior.

Or maybe it's fucking obvious and has been common for all of American history to call a former president "former president".

Let's face it if russia decided to go gloves off total war they would roll Ukraine very quickly. They're being surprisingly careful about all of this.
they might not be committing a lot of troops but they certainly aren't doing precision strikes either, launching grad directly into cities is the opposite of careful

It was funny on day one of the thread most of the Russophiles thought this would be wrapped up by Friday morning. I don't feel so good Russia Bros... (:_(
Anyone who thought thus would be over in a few days is legit retarded.

It took the Coalition led by USA & UK 3 months to topple Saddam, it took Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union a full month to conquer Poland and that was with massive casualties nobody ever talks about.

Granted every war plays out differently but anyone that expects a country backed into a corner to just fold without a fight was out of their mind.

It appears that guitar pick currency "country" Transnistria will not join the fray:
